I am staying at your hotel, checking out tomorrow. From the first place of checking in, it was a very bad experience, the receptionist did not know how to say the simple words like thank you and sorry. Unfriendly staff. I was told that the room was not ready need a bit of time to check which it was around 15:30 hours that time. Some comments to be share but it seems useless to give my comments since today I was at the business centre and I asked to meet one of the manager but I was told that the... Read more

The service was quite nice. Everyone seemed to want to help and those who couldn't speak English referred you to someone who understood you with a smile. My room was nice but old. Small but functional. The bathroom is small. We were on the non-smoking floor but the cigarette smell kept seeping in. I liked the location, though there was not much of a view? Just old buildings & rooftops. It was accessible to 2 malls on foot, while there was a free shuttle to the more popular mall. We got a feel of... Read more

I spent 5 nights at the Marco Polo with my daughter and everything was good. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Cheryl in The Fox and Hounds was absolutely fantastic and was so welcoming each time we visited. Likewise Rohit in the Mexican restaurant was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him. The room we had was clean and extremely well equipped. No complaints at all. The hotel is well appointed...close to the metro, which is easy to use . There are shops and restaurant... Read more

The staff at the Marco Polo were very polite and extremely helpful. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Although a little way out of the City the taxis in Dubai are efficient and good value. The city is kept really clean.

My husband and I were concerned when we were dropped at the Marco Polo hotel. It was located in old Dubai, and the surrounding building looked old and unkept. However, as we went inside the hotel, our concerns turned to "well maybe its not so bad". The lobby was quaint and well maintained, the rooms are large and spacious, (3) restaturants and (4) bars (open until 3am), some with live bands, located on the premise. The hotel offers free shuttle to the beautiful white sand beaches. There are... Read more

Marco polo is a nice hotel and nice restaurants. But, there are three night clubs in the basement that vibrate throughout the hotel and through your pillow. You have to turn the music down or work something out. I slept roughly 3 hours every night.

I was suprised that it was a bit old hotel but the staff are warm and accommodating. They even upgraded our rooms. The rooms have a unique design and I love it! The toilet too small even the bath tub it's hard to take a bath properly. But overall we had a lovely stay.

This is a good hotel, excellent staff, clean, food choices great particularly breakfast.Near Metro station if you want to try (so much nicer than London Underground) If you go All Inclusive don't expect usual AI, food is mostly done to order, which is better. But nothing available between breakfast and lunch. Near to creek and souks for sight seeing.

Conveniently located in Diera, Dubai, Marco Polo is an all rounder. The hotel has quite a few restaurants, including a very recommended Chinese restaurant, Bombay & a South Indian restaurant which are popular with the Indian / Asian crowd. The party halls are huge sized to accommodate big groups. Valet parking AED 10 is available. The pool & rooms are standard. Local tours can be arranged by the hotel.

We visited Dubai and stayed in Marco Polo on our 4th Wedding Anniversary. Now this was the time for Dubai and Marco Polo well justified our stay and made the holiday a pleasant one. As we travelled during the Month of Ramadan, the city in Morning used to sleep and wake up after the evening Ajaan. It was very difficult to get any service outside especially food where our hotel was of great help and served food in the room. Yes, the hotel is on the tired side, but it does give you value for money, particularly the service. Remember to ask for non smoking rooms as they have both in the hotel. All the staff were very friendly and were happy to help all the time. We booked a dinner cruise and got the Big Bus tickets from reception and they were also able to take other currencies (Euro). You can have a refreshing lychee or iced tea drink in the lobby while you wait. It's only a short drive from the airport, less than ... Read more

We did wait quite some time to get our room but regardless the customer service was outstanding. The security guard was very very helpful to us throughout our trip suggesting of things to do. The hotel wa central to many activities. The bars inside this hotel were ok as well.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience Dubai and yet not spend a fortune to stay in Dubai. This hotel is in "old Dubai", so you will need to travel to experience the sights and what is considered "downtown Dubai", The staff are friendly and very helpful and kind. I was very pleased with my week stay at Marco Polo Hotel.

Marco Polo is a well priced option for a stopover in Dubai. The hotel is neat and tidy and the staff helpful. It is in Deira which is a bit of a way from the centre but it's only a short taxi ride. The Bombay Indian restaurant in the hotel is fantastic, well worth a try. The only criticsm I had is that the air conditioning in our room seemed to be stuck on cold and we couldn't adjust it.

What's Good...... The hotel is conveniently located in old Dubai, on a nice Street. It took 20 minutes to reach from the airport and charged 30 AED. The hotel has a decent look with very loving and caring staff around. They don't left you feel left around and always ready to help you in one way or the other. The check in was smooth and took 10 mins to complete the formality. The room was nicely decorated with all the modern amenities, even the mini bar was well stocked. The gym and swimming pool... This hotel has an excellent location in Deira within easy walk to the Old Market and the nearby monorail. The rooms are nice and well kept. All is very clean. The staff is very helpful and polite. The breakfast is adequate and the restaurants which are found inside the hotel are good value for money. Opposite the hotel is a small grocery and there are a couple of restaurants nearby. We stayed at the Marco Pollo hotel because of a groupon deal we purchased. Let me just start off by saying, this review does not negatively reflect the staff. Everyone was cordial and courteous. The breakfast was acceptable. My biggest complaint was the lingering cigarette smell. The other reviews were absolutely accurate; the hotel smells musty. Because of that reason, I didn't feel too comfortable eating at the restaurants. The mall is about 15 minutes away. A taxi ride is normally $10USD. Lot... Read more

This hotel has staff that cannot be faulted. They are very helpful and considerate, plus professional. The double room is very comfortable, complete with places to put bags and to relax in. Beds are excellent. The bathroom is adequate, although the hairdryer leaves much to be desired - more like a reverse cycle vacuum cleaner and the handle is the hose which gets hot. Clean and spacious. I would recommend this hotel.
