The JW Marriott is since many years my favorite hotel when Im in Dubai for only a couple of days or just transit for a day. Actually with the variety of restaurants and the shopping mall attached you dont need to leave the place at all, if you dont want. Peoples friendliness is the biggest asset of the place and everything works well. Compared with the stylish places in Marina it look oldfashioned but it has its own charm and is well worth of trying.

Wow this hotel is amazing! We had a corner suite & it was fabulous! So spacious, luxurious & spotlessly clean. You even get a tablet to control the lights & stuff! Loved the "spa light" setting in the bathroom. The hotel is huge & the lifts can be confusing is you zooming up, down & across the 2 towers. We ate in the vault which felt really special & the views were unbelievable. Service is impeccable which seemed pretty standard everywhere we went in Dubai. Special thanks to Adrian who sorted ou... A note of AED 500 was stollen from my wallet (my fault that I didn't keep it in a safe) and sadly the hotel staff didn't really care (including the management). I have no complains in terms of the hotel rooms/food/cleanliness, but given the variaty of hotels in Dubai, I wouldn't recommend this place due to security reasons.

We have not stayed here since December, 2015 but it is probably the main reason we visit Dubai so readily. The location offers you (in Dubai terms) relatively easy access (by road or Metro) to a vast array of tourist spots which can be reached within 10-30 minutes? Deira Creekside (including the Golf Club), Bur Dubai, Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Wafi Mall (including The Pyramids) and the Marina. Jumeriah a bit further away but if you want to go there (?) you would opt to stay that side of ... Read more

The best features of the hotel are its big rooms and convenient location about 5 minutes from Abu Baker Al Siddique metro station. The rooms are huge but a little bit dated although not a serious problem. Its location near the metro means its easy to get to and fro cheaply from the airport as well as to most of the tourist attractions all along the metro. This was our chief means of transportation during our holiday in Dubai. One drawback is that there are not many restaurants around the hotel.... Read more

There are a number of good hotels in Dubai. I have had the opportunity to stay at a few of them. The J.W. Marriott offers a good combination of luxury, location and price. My room was quite nice, especially the bathroom. The location is convenient to the airport, Mall of Dubai and the Burj Khalifa as well as the gold souk. The room rate is quite fair for the value received. I especially appreciated the concern and helpfulness of the staff. I had a similar experience a few weeks ago at a Ma... Read more

We always use the champions bar at this hotel. They have a band on six nights a week and food served until late. Sami and Rina are both great looking after all of the customers and making sure that you have a great time. The drinks and food are a reasonable price for a bar in a five star hotel.I would recommend this place for anybody looking to enjoy themselves.

Accomodation clean, spacious and comfortable. Downside was I arrived slightly early (11.30am) after anovernight flight and was offered a twin room even though I had booked a double. Was told by reception that it might take a little time and after nearly two hours and complaints from the company conference organisers and myself I eventually was given a double room (no one takes two hours to make up a room!). Other major issue was the breakfast whereby the service was appalling, the tables not ... Read more

The hotel itself is fabulous. Wonderful wide open spaces and fantastic rooms. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the JW Steakhouse is a treat and Champions was a great night out. Some things however were not explained on check in so here are some Top Tips. 1 Join the Marriott rewards program if you're not already a member, otherwise your high speed Wi-Fi costs an exorbitant AED100 per day. Joining is free and so is your Wi-Fi if you're a member. 2 If you pay for the room in advance e.g.... Read more

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The first time was a spur of the moment with my family. This hotel might be in the older part of town, but it certainly makes the guests feel exclusive. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room we got looked onto the central plaza where there's some sort of cafe or restaurant, with a skylight. The hotel is also side by side to a mall which is convenient and also steps away from a metro station.
