At every level, from waitresses to hostesses in the executive lounge, from workmen in the hotel to concierge staff, courtesy and helpfulness was demonstrated. Our junior suite was immaculate - the furniture and soft furnishings obviously chosen with great care and consideration for taste and comfort. The location is perfect with water taxis and buggies provided for ease of travel between the various restaurants and amenities. Security was high on the agenda, but inobtrusive, and nothing was ev... I have been to Dubai previously and stayed at a different hotel. I also travelled a lot around the world and never had this amazing experience in my life. Me and my husband stayed here for 4 days and we are planning to return next year for longer stay. Everything was excellent except for 20 min in between with bad service which was addressed to the managers and they assured that they will look into it and take care of the issue. Manager did apologize and after that experience other staff members... Read more

The sort of photography and advertising available on the Internet of this hotel calls for high expectation. The sort of prices charged by the hotel also means you expect very high standard. Dubai is famous for only one thing, the luxury five star hotels, second to none in the world and this hotel is suppose to be in the top 3 of the best of the best in Dubai. In fact, it is only average. The choice of food was not that great. The long walks or rides to various things like the spa, the hamams, th... Read more

We had a premium deluxe room, which included half board and access to the premium leisure lounge. Plenty of space in the room and really close to everything. The leisure lounge is great if you are travelling with kids because it offers "high tea" and a break in the afternoon, which is a nice change of scene for the small people! The early evening drinks are a great way to start the evening, too, and the staff in the lounge are fantastic, especially Anwar and Zar Ni. The kids' club is especially ... Read more

The brunch at this hotel was an amazing experience. The view from our table was just stunning (definitely postcard worthy!) and the service was outstanding. My favourite bit was the chap sat in a boat, cutting open coconuts, then adding Malibu and handing it back for drinks! Absolutely delicious. And the stations all had such tasty food. Make sure you leave plenty of room for Friday brunch. The choice of food is fabulous and is constantly being refreshed. Although we reside in Dubai we had not stayed at Al Qasr previously. We decided to stay for two nights over the weekend during Ramadan and only booked a few hours in advance. From check in to check out we could fault the place, the Hotel lived up to its expectation, staff are all excellent and always smiling, the room was very well maintained as were the grounds. We had eaten in the restaurants previously and again on this occasion did not fail to please. It was quite surreal to be able to eat a... Read more

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at Al Qasr and the 5th time on the Madinat staying twice at Dar Al Masyaf. I can honestly say its just as good if not better than the first time I visited 10 years ago in 2006. We always find ourselves being drawn back to the Madinat and can honestly say its my favourite resort in the world. The only problem that you will have upon visiting here is you will totally spoil yourself and really struggle to find anywhere that comes close.
