I saw the pictures online, and thought that this would be one of best options to stay at. The rooms were fine. Daily housekeeping was good. But, the bathroom is so so so so small, that hardly you get space to shower! Every single day we had to ask for them replace the toothbrush kit! Funny, on one day we asked the housekeeping to get me a kit in the morning, so that I could go brush my teeth. He said it will take 20 mins to get me a toothbrush, and advised me to take it from my next room! I wasn... Read more

Tried again after one year and found the same problems; the staff is still claiming that the gym is not "yet" ready (yet? Will ever?) and the rooms' internet connection is still too low and unstable. The safe is not available in the room while other Ibis of the same level have it (see Ibis in Bahrain). Customers are expecting to find the same services, no? So, despite the promises of the Hotel Manager (see my previous review), the promises are just empty words. Problems are clearly a result of ... Read more

Hi, I've stayed at his hotel couple weeks ago. General is good budget hotel, but it was few issues. In the room fridge didn't work, kettle also was very bad condition, all hotel full of Russians and obviously they are very rude (as usual). Good things: it's very good location, only 10min walk to metro, they got free shuttle to the beach. Also I would like to say big big thank you to the one lady at the reception I think her name was Lyan or similar, she was extremely helpful with very high cost... Read more

Although the Visa application forms were sent 2 months prior to my vacation, Ibis Al Barsha team informed me that the Visa process starts 15 days prior to the guest arrival. Furthermore, based upon other reviews, I indeed discovered that the Visa is usually issued one day prior to guest arrival. As a result, I ended up less concerned. One week before my departure to Dubai, I contacted that hotel on a daily basis to have more information around my Visa status. In spite of this follow-up, when I c... Read more

The hotel room was clean, the beds comfortable, breakfast is decent and is the standard that you would find in any Ibis or any other economy hotel. One of the disadvantages is that the room is very small, the tv is one of the smallest i've ever seen although I am not really a TV fan and I haven't turned it on not even once. The bathroom is disappointing; very small, not enough lighting and the shower doesn't provide you with that sense of relaxation one needs after an active day in dubai. Clos... Read more

I come to Dubai for the night quite regularly for shopping and to see friends. I always stay here because: 1. The price is excellent and includes a lovely buffet breakfast. 2. Location. Close to Mall of the Emirates, Marina Mall, Ibn Batuta Mall. 3. The rooms are always clean and smell fresh. 4. The staff are super-helpful and the late check out until 2pm is extremely handy. It's extremely good value for money and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick, cheap overnight stay.

When you plan a trip within your country or abroad, along with the itinerary, the accommodation and service plays a vital role in making your trip successful. Ibis Al Barsha is one of our such experiences. Situated in the posh sheikh Zayed road, this hotel comes with a great deal of hospitality, comfort and excellent service. I personally mention the entire F&B staff and GM for the fabulous hospitality and those dal and rice that made me feel just at home.

Before I check out in this hotel I will write my review first because Im so frustrated in this hotel. First, check in takes too long, lobby was very crowded and only 2 people attending the guests, and while waiting for my turn I can hear a lot of complaints from the guests from bookings not arranged and some guests leaving the hotel angry. Second, room was small as expected in a 3 star hotel but bathroom was the smallest bathroom I ever seen for a 3 star hotel. Water from the shower gets out eve... Read more

good hotel with nice breakfast. but front desk staff is just so slow. if you are staying on the second floor you might hear the club downstairs. so better to stay on other floors. some twin rooms have fair space but some are just so narrow and not enough space for 2 people.

I was stayed 6 days in Ibis Al Barsha, it was wonderful, we were welcomed very good by the reception, especially the Korean guy by the name Antony Kim, he took too much care of us, he let us feel that we are at home. He is very active and always smiling. Ibis hotels are very lucky to had this kind of person with them. Next trip for sure i will book in Ibis Al Barsha, if Ibis Al Barsha invite me to stay for free))) Thank you for everything, i am always waiting.

This hotel is little far from the main city center. Also, it is quiet far from the city's both international airport. Amenities provided by the hotel are Ok, but the bathrooms are extraordinarily small even for a normal sized adult.

I've stayed at Ibis in many different countries and this one is no different. They try their best to handle check-in quickly and provide the best experience possible. The beds were amazing and I got the sleep I needed before heading out. They provided us with free coffee, tea and bottled water and there was a small fridge to put a few food items and drinks if necessary. You will not find a cheaper hotel that offers the comfort and smiles than Ibis. I will definitely come again should I wish to v... Read more

The good: the breakfast was very good (wide selection) location pollite staff the bad: the rooms smelt of mould, i think from the A/C. we never received a reason or sollution for this i found a dead bed-bug on the floor! generally it is a clean hotel.

I usually stay here whenever I come to Dubai because I find the location convenient to places that I want to go. This time's stay convinced me to write this review because I want to comment the staff working at Cafe Bonjour who would go out of their way to serve me (and other guests) - day in and day out. I especially would like to commend the staff named Creselda who has been so kind in helping me choose items from the menu and who is always so polite and friendly. Kudos guys! Keep it up!

Stayed in this Hotel few months back with my fiancé for 3 nights. Overall we had a great experience, but the first impression was really bad! although we had a fast check in, the reception staff was almost dead, No greeting, no smile, it was not a warm welcome at all. we had a room on 6th floor, without a view ( in a city hotel you hardly find a nice view) the bed was comfortable, small bathroom. i would like to thank the Housekeeping team for all their effort during our stay. and definitely th... I was I'm Dubai for business and this was the first time stayed in the ibis Al barsha. Normally when in Dubai I stay at sofitel JBR. I was very impressed with the service received and the rooms at the ibis. Wi-Fi was abit slow in the rooms and would cut off at night but during the day no problem. The bathrooms need renovating as they look tired. It's a good hotel to use in Dubai if visiting for short business trips but not for long family holidays. Overall very good budget hotel.

This is basically a good hotel for the money. However, it is not that well managed. The staff, as another reviewer has commented, were not warm and welcoming. The room was on the 2nd floor over the DJ night - sleep after a long haul was impossible (so avoid if you want sleep those rooms that overlook the restaurant on DJ nights (Thurs and Fri). If you like bass coming through the floors and windows fine! Down for a meal, an advertised steak night, which was impossible for the same reason - next ... Read more

I've a quite experience in the customer service industry for quiet while, but still they exceeded my expectation by far from the 3 stars they earned. - One of the best management team I've ever met, despite the fact that I've seen a lot throughout my work experience in the customer service industry. - House keeping and the restaurants' employees are amazing, and having a constantly hope providing genuine smile. - It's frankly better than lots of 5 stars hotel I've been to. - I would like to excl... This hotel is well presented, and has pretty much everything you'd expect for the 3 star rating. A gym and pool would have been great, and the internet struggles, but otherwise it is well located for the metro, there are always taxis outside and the staff can't do enough to help you (special mention to Glorie from housekeeping, very helpful!). The breakfast is pretty good! A nice place to stay if you plan on not being in the hotel much, it's great as a base for seeing Dubai.
