This hotel is probably the best value for money you'll get in Dubai! Sunil, Rashid and the rest of the staff are very helpful and always smiling, and the view from higher floors is amazing. A late night supermarket is conveniently located right outside for food/supplies and a metro station is 1 minute walk away with a direct line to downtown dubai and the malls. Swimming pool and spa facilities are clean and relaxing. We will definitely stay here again!

The highest value is the position: 2 minutes walk from the metro station (Internet City), which is very convenient especially when it's crazy hot. The hall is wide and sufficiently welcoming, I cannot say the same of the taxi entrance that leads to a narrow corridor that lowers your expectations a bit. The hotel needs a bit of renovation and it's not on the same astonishing level as other apart-hotel in the area (but often with "astonishing prices"), but apartments are spacious and sufficiently ... I had an urgent matter to attend to in Dubai on 30april early morning. For me not to rush, my 'family' decided to book a room here since the price is cheaper. It is a one bedroom apartment. When we checked in, the receptionist informed us that he will be providing us with the biggest room for the roomtype we booked. Indeed! I was astonished with the size of the room - the living room's spacious (literally) for the two of us. There's also a balcony where you can see the burj al arab and the sheik... Read more

It's our first visit to Dubai and we didn't know what was waiting for us when we arrived at 1am. The front desk manager Dulal was very polite and accommodating even though there was electrical fault on the floor of the suite that we originally booked he booked us another room that was very spacious and comfortable with complimentary coffee and water daily. Wi-fi worked well. Balcony with great view of Burj Al Arab. Well worth the price coupled with polite staff. Monzur was one of them who was ve... Read more

Soul less, no real atmosphere in hotel or room. Clean and quiet but just did enough to prevent complaints. Laundry system had major identification issues, lost shirts for 4 hours, little to no continuity of communication. Would not choose stay there again.

I would like to say that I really enjoyed my stay in Grand Midwest hotel. The hotel is located in a busy area but the location is superb. You can access to Metro, public buses, taxi easily from this hotel.. Also the hotel can offer transportation service.. We were using the hotel transportation ( SUV)car, the almost same price of local taxi. That was a great deal. The best thing I like the staff friendliness,,. especially reception staffs they are so friendly and cooperative also the manager ... Read more

I stayed in this hotel for 5 months, as it was accommodation provided by the company. After second month I realised that even though location is great - good access to metro station, and rooms are big, some nervous drawbacks started annoy me gradually. I felt originally well built hotel is running poorly and totally unprofessionally. 1. Mess in accounting: when I paid for the stay, it was shown on the paper as ADVANCE payment, and no INVOICE/BILL was indicated. I started asking for the proper b... Read more

I stayed here couple of years back for a month time (i.e. July 15). I got a corner one bedroom with Palm view which is excellent. The rooms are spacious, service is excellent. There is a pool with great view and they are very clean. Gym and spa are good. Breakfast buffet can be improved. The main advantage of this hotel is the access to Metro which is hardly 1 min walk. Overall nice experience with slight letdown in breakfast.

The GMT Hotel is a clean efficient hotel, however I get annoyed when additional taxes keep getting added to bills. The price advertised was 280AED, however 324AED deducted from my CC (service charge and taxes), then, when I arrived an additional 20AED was deducted for city taxes. Dubai will soon tax itself out of the tourist industry!

This is a decent mid range option in Dubai which is hard enough to find. The apartment itself was very spacious and had good facilities. The decoration and furnishings were good if a little tired in places. I suggest it's worth paying extra for sea view, which was spectacular. The location is great, it is right by the metro. The staff were excellent. All were extremely friendly, efficient and welcoming especially the ladies on reception. There is a good breakfast served in a slightly worn dining ... Read more

Had a stopover in DUbaii and decided to stay for 2 nights. Choosen the midwest tower. Good location, public transport not far. close to the airport. In ruch time you will have to wait a bit for check in/out but its normal. Pretty sure they can do better.

One of the worst hotels I have stayed in , stayed here for over a month and had to move room 6 times Due to young drunk people having party's most nights . Spent more time at reception complaining to the hotel staff than I did sleeping some Nights . The management and night staff didn't help me in these situations they just seemed scared to approach the rooms and wouldn't solve the issues . If you are looking to stay here for business I wouldn't bother if you are here to party then stay here you... Read more

I am staying at this hotel for 6 months now and it's getting worse day after day. Terrible staff especially the night manager - no one from the staff understand the guest needs except the housekeeping team - very old furniture- dirty carpets- you have to explain yourself 10 times to get what you need done. The management don't care about any guest satisfaction , they just like to argue about things and never resolve them. The hotel had no pool for the past 3 months. I am paying a monthly rate to... This hotel give you feeling of a real home, rooms are really huge and the smallest studio flat compare to other hotels is quite big, you have full view of palm Jumeirah, good breakfast, massive underground parking and easy access to metro which located right at the back side of the hotel.

When we checked in the receptionist was so depressing I thought she might commit suicide right there in front of us. When we got to the room we found soiled underwear on the back of the bathroom door, food all over the table, grease stains on the side tables, hair all over the bed and the sofa broken. We complained to the manager, who sent someone to collect the dirty underwear. He refused to move us to a different room or provide a refund. DISGUSTING hotel. Stay here at your peril.

Arrived late afternoon, not much guests billeted in the hotel. Booking was done through booking.com. Upon arrival in reception, checked in with no hassle, so fast and friendly staff. Room was so clean and too cold (so have to shut off the A/C). Studio has cooking facilities (except that they don't have spoon and fork). Plates, cups. glasses are available. Washing machine and electric stove are also in. It is very nice and cozy for solo or couple. Food was not quite good (very economical) and not... Read more

Poor service in the hotel and receptionists with attitude! Clean apartment. Modern and fresh place but in the worst area where shady people roam. On your walk to the metro you can spot many advertisement for massage places with happy endings and if you park your car there then you will find dozens of these cards on your windshield!!! The hotel is located in media city after all... The hotel it self is OK but the area is not recommended for families. Therefore I give it a two.

Positive: Location - near Dubai Internet City metro station, bus stop, 5-minute drive to Burj Al Arab, near Palm Jumeirah, good view of the city Negative: Worst reception - does not know how to handle customer inquiries; does not listen to questions of customers; talks to other customers/people while a customer talks to them Room smells unpleasant - bed sheets stink; pillows have foul odor (especially when you take out the pillow cover)
