It was such a bad experienced the way I checked into this hotel. It was absolutely ruined my night. The staff was rude specially the Indian guy who used to be very arrogant. I don't recommend this hotel to stay with. I don't how was this Indian receptionist got his job while being a receptionist must be 100% hospitable and used to comfort guests as much as possible. But we experienced was a reverse of an excellent treatment. Never again I will check in to this hotel.

The reception staff were very helpful and professional. If you want to stay in a budget hotel in Deire area this might be the one. My room was very specious and convenient. The location is just a few steps away from the clock tower and for a quick trip to Dubai it is fairly close to the Airport.

We stayed at both 4 and 5 star hotels while in Dubai and found there to be a big difference between the 4 star and the 5 star properties as far as the facilities, room and decor was concerned but received great service from all staff everywhere. The Grand Central was no exception, the front desk staff were very good and the other staff equally as friendly. The room was spacious & clean, the decor was just dated which isn't a major thing. I had read a couple of negative reviews about the breakfas... Read more

I was in Dubai for short trip and stayed there due to its location as it is near to metro station "Al Rigga" and Dubai Int. Airport. The staffs were good specially at receptions; they helped us and gave valuable information. On room side, the room decor was average, mattresses was not good that as you expect in good hotel. The rooms did not had tooth brush and slippers. the Wifi speed was pretty slow. Altogether, my trip was good.

Unfriendly check-in service, ugly room, cigarette smell even I've ordered a non-smoking room, incompetent and unfriendly check-out service. I am traveling a lot and was visiting Dubai several times but I've spent a night at such a disappointing place. Never, never, never again!

Our stay lasted 4 nights in the hotel. It is a old hotel which has obviously been keenly refurbished. The restaurant offers delicious food at a reasonable rate. The bedrooms are so spacious and comfortable. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Shopping malls like Deira city centre, attractions like Dubai Souks, convenient stores and budget shops were around. Modes of transport were easily accessible. The minus points were that although it is mentioned on the hotel does not hav... Read more

Everything is fine in hotel except management.. Operation manager Mr. Arif & Security in-charge (I think Rahul-Not sure) are very rude. If any of your business associate come to meet you for 15 - 20 mins they demand there i'd has to be deposit at reception. According them it's law in UAE but when you ask them give this in writing they refused.. Not only that they harass people by sending security people in your room after every 5 mins and says they will call police. I stayed in more than 15 ho... Read more

The best thing about the hotel is the access to the metro station. Al Rigga easy access, also that Deira City Center is one station away. So all your entertainment is, shopping, resturants are close by. The hotel is clean it has a few entertainment centers itself. The staff was helpful and the breakfast in the morning was good. It is a well known hotel so all the taxi drivers find it easy. The pool is on the rooftop Not bad for value of money..

I stayed several times at this hotel. It is an older hotel visible in furniture, bedding ... Though WiFi in public areas is free of charge, most of the time it does not work. Janice stay away from the reception. When I picked up my passport, the day after accommodation, she was at the reception. He asked me to deposit 100 USD. I asked if I could give her 50 EUR. She said no: 100 EUR. I left to the reception 100 EUR and I signed in the register. At checkout, after I signed the bill, she just sa... Read more

I spent 4 nights in the hotel & every day & night i had an issue or 2 at least. Knowing that i went there for business, and wanted to concentrate & not being there for making any trouble.
