Getting to my room took well over an hour, which is to very pleasant after a long journey and the Check in staff were very rude and there was no system. Maybe you guys should train your staff first ? Apart from that everything was alright .. Anwar at the concierge desk was VERY HELPFUL. Excellent location and facilities. Great value for money! Housekeeping very prompt! Great apartment style rooms!

Relatively expensive for what it is, which is strictly a business hotel. Very adequate gym facilities, rooms were clean though design is a bit dated. Coffee lounge and also the restaurant area is nothing to write home about but located near the MRT, which is a big plus. Overall, as far as business hotels go, very acceptable.

The Emirates Grand hotel is well located particularly for a business trip. In a city of glitz and everything new the hotel has a slightly faded quality. The rooms while well appointed could do with refurbishment. That said the bed was very comfortable. An upgrade was given which meant a larger room including a kitchen. The room rate was also very competitive meaning the overall trip cost was kept reasonable. The lifts have an unusual programming logic which left guests in the lobby for a l... Read more

We recently had a long layover (22hours) in Dubai. We arrived in Dubai at 5:45am following an overnight flight from Nairobi. Our onward flight to the U.S. Did not depart until very early the next morning. Upon arrival at the Emirates Grand Hotel, we were allowed an early check-in for a small fee (very reasonable). Many people book a room here because of its vicinity to a metro station. But trust me, that's the only good thing. Just when you enter, the receptionists will give you a cold and rude welcome. Then u check in and go to the lifts. Worst elevator technology ever as you have to wait for atleast 10 minutes each time. Food is hopeless, staff is incompetent, pool is too small. Be critical when you decide to book.

The experience started badly when I arrived and was informed that the policy was to pay the room in advance plus deposit for incidentals. Had to insist that they only imprint my credit card. Then I found out there was no bar. The reception area smelled of cigarette smoke and was filled with conservative arabs with women fully covered, including faces, in black. I asked for a quiet room in the back and was given a noisy room in front. Never again.

I stayed at this hotel from 14th-23rd April 2016 for 10 nights to include B&B. This hotel is great if you want something near the city, however, for the price we paid, the hotel did not resemble a 4* and would not say this was of a 4*quality. The decor of the rooms were quite dated, I wasn't too pleased with the room we were assigned to at checkin, the bathroom was dirty upon arrival and there was a rather unpleasant smell in the room. We were also informed during checkin that our booking was vi... Read more

Spent a week at the Emirates Grand Hotel. Located on the busy Sheikh Zayed Road, but we were at the back of the hotel on the 32nd floor, very quiet location. Good views of the Burj Khalifa, and surrounding area from the room. The hotel is about 15 min walk from the Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa, which is an easy walk except in the high heat of the day. It's also about 5 mins walk from the excellent Metro, at the Financial Centre stop, so very easy to get around the city. The room was a two bedroom. I... Read more

Negatives: Rooms are shabby, bathrooms need renovating. Instead of exchanging towels for fresh ones they were just removed one by one so on my last night i didnt have any other towel than the hand towel. The bathroom fittings are broken or loose. People at reception desk are rude and unhelpful. Positives: Got the best and friendliest service from the concierge and the driver. The breakfast is really good. Its in the centre of the business district.

Poor Service and not very clean. The whole experience was average and definitely not value for money. Concierge is also not updated with the latest market entries. Not recommended. Even though people are nice there are not up to the level for a 4* hotel. Room for improvement.

The hotel is located within central location which was ideal. The roof top is very nice restaurant area is very clean. However the only issue I had was the rooms were extremely cold I had to request a heater which was a joke. The following day they did fix the issue and it was ok. The tiles in the bathroom could do with a clean as there are black grime everywhere.

Just came back from a week s stay in Dubai and staying at the Emirates Grand Hotel. It was an amazing week so full of adventure. Loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were amazing. I cannot not give a special mention to the Foyer Hostess a young lady by the name of Abegail. Abegail was stunning always with a smile , greeting us and with such respect and gentle manners. Our stay was that much richer she answered all our questions suggesting places to visit. I can honestly say that our tour of ... Read more

The hotel is in a good location, not far from the Dubai mall and Burj Khalifa.Transport links are very good with the metro being right next door and it's very easy to get a taxi. The hotel lobby looked nice as well as the room, but the bathroom wasn't very nice, didn't look 100 percent clean and it had a weird smell. The room itself was a great size, even had a kitchen with full kitchen utensils which was very handy. Depends on the room you have but you can have a decent view. Upstairs on the 47... Read more
