Stayed here while we visited Dubai in April and were very satisfied. The room, although not very big, was always clean and we found it very comfortable for 2 people. Service was excellent and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, included both middle eastern and european options, we believed there was a good variety of options to choose from. Internet was ok, but sometimes too slow, we were not able to skype chat with friends and family back home. Overall a good stay ... Read more

Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Rooms were small but clean but very basic. There was a weird smell from the drains in the bathroom some days. Breakfast was almost the same every morning, not tasty. Rolls pastries were dry. Everything looked watery and bland. Only water melon and oranges put out as fruit but not chilled enough. Some of the staff at reception were so unclear with information. During our stay only two members of staff at reception were accommodating. Hope all this improves to... Read more

I have been staying at this property on and off for the last few years. Recently I stayed here for 3 weeks in May '16 but somehow could not feel as much enthused about the place as I felt a couple of years ago. The location is good - just close enough to most of the important attractions and business places, though metro is a good kilometer away. It's usually bustling with tourists, mainly from India and East Europe - most of them booked through tour operators, no doubt. Breakfast is alright -... Read more

The hotel room was very good and clean. It's quite big for a single person. The staff are friendly too. It's easy to request for anything they can provide. All in all, the service was very good. However, it's quite far from the nearest Dubai Metro Station. At least 15 minutes of walk away. But nevertheless, it was a great experience staying in this hotel.

Stayed 4days at Citymax during EID holidays 2016. Everything about hotel was good, right from location, Bar, rooms, pool, room services & staff. The best part was room service people they were the best. What you want more after a hectic visit to city, when you return to your room, its should be clean and it was just that. The only issue I had was regarding the parking during night time there was no parking slot. so I had to park somewhere else. All in all it was GOOD stay.

Budget friendly and decent place to stay.Food met our expectation, fresh and tasty . The trip planning table was also very handful. The lady at the trip section advised me not to take anything before the desert safari. This was a very insightful tip I must say. Loved the stay n would definately go back when I visit Dubai again.

It was really a wonderful experience staying with Citymax Bur Dubai. Staff was really nice & cooperative, special Mr. Taha & Ms. Shivani at the reception. Would love to be there again ??? One suggestion: please add some sports channels & enhance the quality of WiFi or mention on your website that it's only a basic wifi & one needs to purchase extended wifi for good experience. Thank you!!

We will see what the remainder of days here pan out to be. This first day/night wasn't the greatest. We were told our room was not ready, then sent to a room which was supposed to be with a view. Right, the box in the center of the hotel, not a thing other than other occupants windows, (through our dirty window). Water pressure is low in the bath, ice is an added cost, let's see what tomorrow brings. I'll be making my concerns known again. The eating spots are fairly good, not too pric... Read more

This hotel was booked for us by our travel agent as part of a two night stopover in Dubai so we didn't have any real input into where we were going to stay. The location is good according to friends of ours who live in Dubai. It is a short walk to the Mall of the Emirates where you can catch the metro cheaply to other locations. Taxis are cheap in Dubai also so if you want to go further afield it's not a problem. We arrived early in the morning and although our room was empty and ready we were... Read more

They have got a pool with cool water on the roof, so you can relax and keep away from special Dubai climate while swimming there. Also there is a gym and kiker, which we visited some times. The location is great - 10 minute walk to the metro line (which allows you to go anywhere in Dubai). There are also lots of taxi options. They have a coffee shop downstairs and a couple of restaurants and clubs. The reception area felt a bit crowded most... Read more

Hotel is nice rooms are quite ordinary but meets the requirement of an Budget hotel . But the service in the restaurant is very poor. In the morning they breakfast is till 10.30 they will start removing at 10 Am. Why to waste the food , or else they may be circulating the same for the next day. Understand if it is empty and you want refill

I spent my honeymoon (about 2 weeks) at this Hotel. The staff a the reception were excellent, customer service was sublime. Ms Zenna (I think) was top notch. The Head Porter was very nice too. The room was small, yet cozy and I had all the basic needs. House keeping was okay too. Dining at the hotel was very memorable as the buffet was cool. Gym is small but okay. Roof top pool !!. I will certainly visit Dubai again soon and I will certainly stay at this very nice hotel

Well this review has been submitted rather very much delayed but none the less.. Had stayed here when this hotel was nearly opened. And then visited again on my best Dxb trip. Not much had changed. The hotel lobby was still the same. The reason behind the visit was their sports bar which is situated on the lobby level. Had liked it when I had visited it in 2010. And even after 5/6 years it was still the same. CHARMING.... An evening well spent.

Unfortunately, I booked this hotel whilst travelling to Australia. I should have researched the reviews more ! This hotel is aimed predominantly at tourists from the Indian subcontinent . Reception, breakfast time and even the elevators turned into something like a rugby scrum with masses of people pushing and shoving , with no respect for those people in the queue!! The rooms are very small with little wardrobe space. On arrival , we had to contact reception almost immediately to complain that ... Read more

Check in and check out are quick and professional. Free Wi-Fi in room is good. Underground parking is comfortable and safe. The room was quite comfortable, neat and clean. Good value for money property. Look forward to staying again if I get a chance

This hotel is actually a good hotel when it comes to standards but disgusting when it comes to hygiene! I have been a regular customer of citimax for the past 2 years and lately during my last two visits I have noticed that the beds are infested with bugs. I have experienced this twice and surprisingly no action was taken
