The room was huge and the beds were comfortable, overall they've done a good job of bringing this hotel up to modern standards. The breakfast buffet was great too. Its location might be a bit out of the centre but it's right by a metro station in a leafy part of town. Good value stay.

i`ve stayed there for 03 nights to attend UITT-2016 in EIC, They serve VERY GOOD Breakfast, Lots of nightlife activities, it`s too close to metro station (125 Darnytsia) & just one station to exhibition center station (124 Livoberezhna), All staff are TOO Friendly.

Stayed for 4 nights which were wonderful for the price. Large establishment but still felt homely. Breakfast good and reasonably priced. Very near subway and local shopping centre. Highly recommended.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Room was spacious, very comfortable and well equipped. Good selection of breakfast food. Hotel is close to public transport stations and bus stops. Stayed there for 6 days in April 2016. Highly recommended.

Room clean with all required facilities. Staff very friendly and cheerful. Did not dine there but I imagine from appearances that it was good. Checking in and out was painless even though we arrived in the early hours of the morning.

Quiet rooms , enough clean. Its little soviet style but very ok for short stays. Big minus is no complimentary water or minibar in room. Also breakfirst is low quality , selevtion is wide but rawmaterial is just scrap and you can taste it. Lobby cafe make good coffee

Comfortable 3-star hotel on the left bank of Kyiv city. 10-15 minutes to the city center by the subway or car. The rooms are simple but include all basic things at a low price. The hotel itself was built during the Soviet era what you can see from outside only as recently there has been done a renovation and inside it is quite modern. The inconvenience you may encounter while staying at this hotel is that they have old TVs in some rooms (without flat screen). They do have a restaurant (you can a... Read more

Don't bother with room service after 10 pm. The kitchen is mysteriously closed most of the time. Room service staff cant speak English and front desk staff will actually yell at you if you BOTHER THEM after ten. Gustaf cafe is really where house with food. They advertise 24/7 room service but it is big lie. Called them after hotel 24/7 room service was not available and asked what was on menu. I was hung up three times before I was told to go to McDonald's. Worst service ever the girl in... Read more

Service is a big issue in post Soviet cities. This hotel however is a positive example. For a 3* hotel the service was perfect. The rooms are nice, the prices are low, and the level of cleanliness and cleaning is good. The bar that opens at 20:00 is a bit pricy but it offers a Nargilla (Hookah\Shisha) which is highly recommended.

Stayed at the hotel in July 2016, we liked it very much. We had the room 615, very quite and comfortable, the hotel's close to a subway station which is a big pro. Breakfast is usual, not anything special, but quite satisfying. Check-in and check-out were really fast. Why we actually chose the hotel is the price and the free reservation.

This is rated as a 3 star, but we have stayed in 4 stars as good as this. Two rooms, young children. We found it to be ideal for our needs. The staff were friendly , the restaurant our preferred location, having tried elsewhere. Added bonus was a park / amusement place across the road for the Children. WiFi only worked in reception area

Good hotel for a good price. We arrived very late in the middle of the night and that was no problem. We liked our stay here. The staff was great and always willing to help, the restaurant had good food and the breakfast was also good. Close to metro that goes to center without changing lines. Recommended our next stay in Kiev will be here again.

Pros: 1. The location is excellent for our purpose - we had friends to visit in that area. 2. The room is big and clean. 3. There was a bath - we enjoyed to have a bath and not a shower as usual :) Cons: 1. Not all facilities were in workable state (e.g. clock was stop; some lamps were not working) 2. For a double bad and two guests we had a one small blanket that was covering only a half of a person :(

Location wise, not centre. But does have a metro across the road. 5min walk. The reception staff really need better customer service. A smile would be nice. The bedroom still has the owe of old communism in furniture design. Needs updating. But overall, it's still an 'ok' place to stay. Would I stay there again. Probably not. I rate this average, because it's an average hotel for Kiev.

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was comfortable and clean and I slept well there. The WiFi worked very well for me and the price of the room was very good. Like others, I was a bit put-off by the attitude of the staff at the front desk. They certainly could be friendlier but, overall, still got the job done. The biggest issue I had here was the availability of dinner service in the restaurant. I stayed for 7 nights and was only able to have dinner there one of those nights. All the other nig... Read more

I stayed in the basic room, which was great for my needs. I particularly liked having a refrigerator in the room, so I could get snacks and drinks from the grocery store (a block away). Park across the street and nice pub down the street, so location was great. Lobby has diligent security and an overall oppressive feel. Never a smile from reception, security staring you down as you walk through, etc... On the plus side, I guess you didn't have to worry about non-residents coming through but... Read more

Stayed here for 6 nights while in town on business. Overall its a nice place to stay. Its on the other side of the river, so its not near the expensive hotels in the business district. Most of the staff spoke fairly good English, Breakfast fare was good. Its not like breakfast in the UK or US. Overall I would stay here again.
