I went to The Somerset for a quick 3 day trip. The Spa is fabulous. The restaurants have improved greatly. Excellent seared tuna salad for lunch at the pool bar. The Monday night tapas for $5 is a real bargain and delicious. The Tuesday night beach bar b que is so much fun and the food was great (it was rained out at the beach but moved to the Pavilion restaurant). The suites are incredible, the view never gets old, and the beach is the most wonderful beach in the world. Best powdery white sand.... Read more

My husband and I spent six days at the Somerset recently and it was FABULOUS! This was our first trip to Turks and Caicos and it won't be our last. We were welcomed by Jasmine and Berry at the front desk who made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival. We were handed a rum punch and we never looked back! Our room wasn't quite ready so we headed to the pool where the delightful Kaye-Ann set out towels for us while we sipped and relaxed. We got up each morning, had coffee out on the patio ... Read more

Somerset is a class act boutique resort. Everything we encountered here is a class act. The beach which is the main reason to come here is on miles of soft sandy. A bonus is that there is no hotel to just to the right of the place when looking out so you even have less people around than normal. The beach has lounge chairs and umbrellas. It is nice not being nickeled and dimed on water as they have cold bottles for the asking. The pool is fun to float around as they have complimentary float... Read more

We had a first floor, pool view room. Chose Somerset because they have lap pool for adults; and separate infinity pool with gradual sloping depth to 5-feet depth. Little (toddler) Munchies had a blast with the other kids in the pool and the gradual sloping bottom allowed him to wade, jump, play at his preferred depth. Poolside lunch and drinks was great. Pavilion restaurant has no ocean view but is adjacent to the croquet lawn which is a great way for toddler to let off steam mid/end of meal... Read more

I went to Turks and Caicos for the diving and fell in love with Providenciales and the Somerset resort. This is a first class boutique resort with beautiful condo style suites. The beach has soft sand and extends for miles. The resort has a beautiful infinity pool and a great lap pool for swimmers. The Somerset staff were first rate and the facilities are excellent. Boats and other beach toys are available. This is a fantastic romantic destination, especially for scuba divers.

This hotel is an excellent place to stay in! The staff are very friendly and accommodating from beginning to the end. It's like staying at your grandparents house for the summer where you get spoiled! Housekeeping comes twice a day, if needed, and rooms are immaculate after they are done. My family and I stayed at the Penthouse Suite which had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and overlooked the pool with an ocean view. We also had the best view from our balcony of the fireworks they had one day. We al... Read more

The Somerset is lovely. The very best aspect is the capable and friendly staff. Of course, it is stunning, with a pristine beach and beautiful pool. The water sports team was so helpful when we tried wind surfing (and we needed it), and showed us stand up paddle boarding tips. We used the hobie cats, snorkel equipment, and kayaks as well. Pool side and beach side food/beverage service terrific. Cannot think of anything negative to say.

Our family of four stayed for 7 days at The Somerset this past June. It did not disappoint! We rented a two bedroom ocean front villa. Everything that you see on their website is exactly what you experience when there. Stunning! Our villa was beautiful, clean & comfortable. We felt comfortable because the resort has a very intimate feel. This is due to their lovely staff who we got to know immediately by name. They are so genuine and gracious. We were greeted by Billy Joe, Winston and Jasm... Read more

This year my family wanted to do a more laid back, very relaxing beach vacation. After some personal research and some suggestions from a travel agent, I booked The Somerset on Grace Bay. The week we spent here in Turks and Caicos has now become one of the best resorts I have ever visited. The room was decorated and furnished with all up-to-date furniture that was super comfortable. The gourmet sized kitchen is unreal. We were able to go to the grocery store and fully stock the fridge with drink... Read more

First I must comment on the gorgeous island...between the weather and the powdery sandy beaches and the indescribable color of the water, God (or whoever you believe did this)was certainly 'on' the day this place was created! Now, on to The Somerset...we had a fabulous time, we were treated by the front desk, Winston, housekeeping, Adriano, Carolyn, everyone at the pool and beach, even the taxi drivers(I feel terrible I don't remember everyone's names), were exceptionally nice and helpful... What a great place on Grace Bay. We stayed in a 5 bedroom unit with great decor and a decked out kitchen. So comfortable you also felt like you were in your own home but better of course! No cooking or cleaning.

This was our second trip to T&C. Last year stayed at Seven Stars. If we go back next year we will stay at the Somerset again. The location on Grace Bay beach is excellent and the property is really nice. Look at a map of Grace Bay. Seven Stars is located in a "carve out" section of the beach (crescent shaped) and for some reason I feel the water is a little rougher there. At Somerset, the water is somewhat calmer and there is absolutely nothing in the water (pieces of shells, etc.) Pools an... Read more

On island I had a great lunch a pool bar with great service and delicious conch fritters. That evening I attended the Beach BBQ and bone fire with great food, fun food, fire dancer, and an awesome DJ. It was an awesome night and the staff at The Somerset is among the best.

This resort is very laid back and allows you to relax, remove yourself from the day-to-day stresses of everyday life. It is more quiet (which we liked) than a Beaches and offers upscale rooms with beautiful views. There is plenty offered by the hotel for entertainment (nightly events such as the beach bbq and Managers reception) but nothing gets crazy. Our two teenage girls enjoyed their stay as they enjoyed the beach and pool (along with ocean sport activities). The service was good overal... Read more

I have to be fair, everyone in T & C is awesome. The Staff in every place, Hotel,Rest ,etc go out of their way to make you feel great and to make sure you enjoy your vacation. However, the Staff, the DJ, Tevin and specifically Queensley was the best! After enjoying a great beach BBQ, Bonfire ( great show by the fire man, kids and adults love it!) and DJ our friend lost his sunglasses...Queensley made a big effort to find them and the whole staff was very helpful to us! We spent a week at The Somerset back in the end of April. My husband and I had stayed at Seven Stars a couple of times previously, but we chose The Somerset for this vacation primarily because of the kitchen in the room as well as the Kids' Club option for our 8 year-old daughter. We had a fabulous time...our room was amazing and had a beautiful kitchen. We ordered in the continental breakfast from the restaurant each morning and brought it up to our room to eat on our balcony overlooking the... Read more

Thank you so much for an absolutely wonderful first family vacation trip to Turks and Caicos! Our Dallas, TX family of 4 enjoyed our week long stay at your resort very much. Beginning from the excellent front desk staff (Berry & Winston), the outstanding housekeeping service from Joselin, the wonderful & personal restaurant service from Margarita, the delightful conversations with Roberto of security and of course Roosevelt at the beach. My wife and I stayed at the Somerset for a week on our honeymoon and had an excellent experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were lucky enough to interact with many of them; Berry, Billy Joe and Jan were always available at the front desk to help us out with bikes, calling cabs or even showing us the courtesy gate to the Palms next door (thanks Billy). Jasmine (concierge) helped us with reservations, advice and planning some island excursions that really added to our... Read more
