We stayed here for a week - me and my husband We had a lovely time. The rooms are spacious and all of them have balconies where you can sit and enjoy the lovely view. We had an ocean front - white powdery sand and the turquoise blue water made for the best view ever. The staff is friendly but non-intrusive. They let you have your own space and enjoy the beauty of the island. One of the days, along the beach, we found scarlet red starfish lining the entire expanse of the beach. It was just so... Sands at Grace Bay is well-manicured with beautiful grounds. The pools have several seating areas, some quite private, and plenty of umbrellas. Our unit (4204) had been upgraded (bath/kitchen) in recent years and was comfortable and clean. The screened porches are wonderful. Our "overlooking the ocean" unit had a limited view of Grace Bay from the end of our porch. Don't be fooled into thinking you will be right on the ocean at this property unless you are in a few select units of Building ... Read more

We arrived on 5/15/2016 for a 6 night stay at The Sands. We were greeted by a super friendly front desk clerk and bellman. We were given rum punch and escorted to our room after making a reservation at the onsite restaurant, Hemingway's (more on that later). This a condo hotel so it's like staying in an apartment. We were in a one bedroom unit in building 1. Building 1 is closest to the front desk and furthest from the beach. The apartment is quite large and had well equipped kitchen. Cooking me... Read more

I spent 4 days here with my boyfriend and I was very impressed with the cleanliness and service offered by the resort. We had a one bedroom suite with small kitchenette area. The furnishings were older, but everything was neat and clean. Nice pools, gorgeous beach that goes on for miles, and resort is right on the beach. Downtown is a reasonable walk away, and the area is safe for tourists to enjoy. We ate most of our meals at Hemingway's, right there at The Sands. Very good food and service. Sc... Read more

This was my first visit to TCI and let me say that I was not disappointed. After reading reviews I decided to stay at Sands. It was just me and my child and we had a studio garden room. It was perfect. Room is tastefully decorated, spacious, and has a kitchen area and washer and dryer. The floors are tile and I got a little grossed out having sand on my bare feet after a shower, then getting into bed with "dirty" feet (trust me-being on a beach, you WILL find sand). My husband and I decided to vacation. We researched, and researched, and happily decided on Turks. We booked our trip through Costco. They offered some fantastic deals. After much research, we decided on Sands At Grace Bay. So happy we did. Everyone at the resort were very accommodating, and gracious. We were treated like royalty! We don't vacation much, and are very limited moneywise. We are happy with the choice we made, and had a fantastic time. Money well spent! Thanks Sands!

We were lucky enough to travel to Providenciales in the off season and The Sands was just wonderful! They were kind enough to give us a little upgrade and we LOVED having a full kitchen for breakfast every morning. We also enjoyed having a laundry unit. Great hotel in a great location. Awesome beach with many free water sports available to the guests of the sands at grace bay. The rooms were very nice and actually better than we expected. The prices were reasonable and hemingways (restaurant) was decently priced with exceptional food. Seemed pretty empty during our stay. However there were many families with children. And no nightlife after like 10 pm. Overall a great experience though. Will stay again.

Grace Bay Beach is beautiful and the Sands is located on an excellent part of the beach. I've stayed here and The Alexandra and prefer the Sands for it's closer location to downtown, rooms and service. Our one bedroom suite was spacious and very comfortable. If I could change something about the rooms it would be removing screens from the balconies, it's a shame not to have a clear view of the ocean. Baybz and I were spoiled during our honeymoon at the Sands at Grace Bay. The room was the size of townhouse, the ocean and pool was our view all day, the property was constantly being cleaned and the staff was super friendly. One of the highlights was the use of Hobie Cats for sailing the sparkling light blue and clear water. I should start by saying that my wife NEVER goes back to the same place twice but on account of a very pleasant visit in 2012 we returned to the Sands for a week in late June 2016. We had a great time and had the same very pleasant experience. First, one thing that differentiates the location of this residence is it's isolation from the plethora of hotels down the beach. We stayed 5 nights in a 2 bedroom oceanview condo at the Sands, from June 19-24. Family of four, with kids ages 6 and 8. This was our first time going to T&C, and while I at first wanted to stay in one of the more upscale resorts, I just couldn't justify the cost. That, and I really wanted the kids to have their own bedroom - I just enjoy the trip so much more when there are 2 bedrooms as opposed to having the kids on a sleeper sofa in the living area. The room at the Sands did not disappoin... Read more

Loved the resort. Staff was amazing and very very friendly, the beach is beautiful and very refreshing. Hotel very beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had an one bedroom with full kitchen and laundry (a must travelling with kids). The restaurant at the resort is really good, the sunset is amazing! Highly recommend the boat day trip to Iguana Island, reef etc. It was really beautiful.

Love this awesome place! Grace Bay is a sight to behold. Accommodations were perfect for our family of four. Condos were clean, comfortable and roomy. Hotel is very quiet and relaxing. Sun is strong!! Bring tons of sunblock and for those fair-skinned, lots of zinc oxide. They make a clear version. Visited the expansive Graceway Gourmet supermarket, which has all the staples needed to make breakfast and lunch in the condo. Ate dinner out at Coco Bistro and Bay Bistro, which were both excellent. After plenty of research, picked The Sands for much-needed relaxing vacation. Family and friends who had been to Turks suggested I stay at or near Grace Bay beaches (nice and not crowded at all). Staff were laidback and funny (and upgraded us to a better suite no charge), walking distance to restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. Bathroom tub/shower could've been a little bit cleaner but I have unrealistically high expectations there, otherwise very clean suite (and cleaned regularly by staff)... Read more

Before I booked the Sand for our Aug 2016 Stay, I reviewed countless Trip Advisor reviews. I knew I was making a good decision for my Family of 5. (3 Kids age 15,13,12). The SAND is a amazing quaint resort. In particular a peaceful, not crowded atmosphere, well kept grounds, with full amenity rooms, and great friendly/personal staff. Convenient short on site walk to beach, pools, restaurant and lobby. So I'll comment on what I read in the past review and provide my feedback on each item that ... Read more

The Sands is a wonderful family and couple oriented resort on Grace Bay, upscale without attitude. When guests book and come to The Sands they need to be aware that this is a condo/strata property where many of the owners let their properties be used as the hotel units. Hotel guests often do not know this and are not respectful of the rules and privileges of owners and as such disputes and conflicts occur.. The best example is that the Hot Tub / Spa area is small for the number of visitors,It... Read more

Location is great 5 min to shopping. You can ride their bikes to pick up groceries. Very clean and great setting next to the beach. I would stay here all the time. Hemingway's great restaurant and food is very good. Staff are great and look after you when needed. Looking to buy and retire in the Turks.

The Sands is a comfortable family resort attached to a pristine beach with easy access to downtown Grace Bay. We had a two-bedroom oceanview apartment, which was quite spacious with views of both the beach and the interior garden courtyard via a brilliant screened-in porch. (Note that oceanfront rooms have the most direct view of the beach.) We stocked our fully functional kitchen with goods from a local grocery store. Restaurant prices in Provo made this a worthwhile investment. Aside from the... Read more

The Sands is a terrific resort with all the advantages of Grace Bay - one of the World's best beaches - and the amenities of a first class operation. Hemingway's is a very good restaurant, breakfast lunch, drinks and dinner, too. We've been three times in five years and will return in January. The only drawback is that the rooms, which are condos with kitchens and large screened lanais, are getting a bit shopworn. We look forward to a refreshment hopefully no far down the road.

We stayed at the Sands for our honeymoon. It was a perfect compromise: my husband wanted an all-inclusive Caribbean vacation, and I wanted an experience that didn't feel mass-produced and over-hyped *or* obscenely expensive (relative to T&C, anyway, where, NB: sales tax is TWELVE PERCENT on every ever-lovin' thing). The Sands was beautiful and comfortable, with the amenities you'd expect from a resort experience, but it was also quiet, friendly, and very personal-feeling. It has many fewer rooms... Read more

My family and I once again traveled to Providenciales and stayed at The Sands at Grace Bay. In my opinion, it's the best place to stay on the island. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, good food at their restaurant, Hemingways, and close to just about anything you need as far as shopping and even restaurants. Or If you rather cook, you can do so in a condo with kitchen facilities. If you want to venture the island as we do, I would suggest renting a car. They do have taxi service if you can't dri... The number of things that were broken during my stay The Sands was surprising. They include: the toaster, an electrical outlet, the bath (yellow water came out of it), the hotel's jacuzzi/spa, the room's phone, a treadmill, and the printer in the business center. Something that shocked me was how loud my room was.
