"Two grown ups and two almost grown-up kids, we had a ocean view two bedroom. Plenty of room. Everyone at the Sands was incredibly nice, helpful, positive. It was so easy to book parasailing, catamaran adventure, etc. We had a bit of sticker shock about food prices on the island. We did the shuttle to the grocery store, so we only ate out for dinner. Hemingway's was excellent and we like to eat early so the lunch-menu-before-6pm option was great, saved $$ and was every bit as delicious. Highly recommend the lime daiquiri! We were also able to walk to Bay Bistro for dinner, heavenly.
As it turned out my cell phone fell out in the taxi on the way to the airport as we left, and not only did the kind driver return it to the hotel, they contacted us as to how to return it to us. I really appreciated this!"
