Excellent everything. Beautiful island, beautiful hotel, friendly staff, great food, and the locals were amazing! What an amazing getaway; we will be back! This is a short, direct flight from our hometown, too!

We stayed here for a week - me and my husband We had a lovely time. The rooms are spacious and all of them have balconies where you can sit and enjoy the lovely view. We had an ocean front - white powdery sand and the turquoise blue water made for the best view ever. The staff is friendly but non-intrusive. They let you have your own space and enjoy the beauty of the island. One of the days, along the beach, we found scarlet red starfish lining the entire expanse of the beach. It was just so... Sands at Grace Bay is well-manicured with beautiful grounds. The pools have several seating areas, some quite private, and plenty of umbrellas. Our unit (4204) had been upgraded (bath/kitchen) in recent years and was comfortable and clean. The screened porches are wonderful. Our "overlooking the ocean" unit had a limited view of Grace Bay from the end of our porch. Don't be fooled into thinking you will be right on the ocean at this property unless you are in a few select units of Building ... Read more

We arrived on 5/15/2016 for a 6 night stay at The Sands. We were greeted by a super friendly front desk clerk and bellman. We were given rum punch and escorted to our room after making a reservation at the onsite restaurant, Hemingway's (more on that later). This a condo hotel so it's like staying in an apartment. We were in a one bedroom unit in building 1. Building 1 is closest to the front desk and furthest from the beach. The apartment is quite large and had well equipped kitchen. Cooking me... Read more

The staff was very accommodating to our family during the wedding. They upgraded the bride and groom's room which became a gathering place for the guests. The atmosphere was quiet and the sunset wedding pictures were spectacular.

I spent 4 days here with my boyfriend and I was very impressed with the cleanliness and service offered by the resort. We had a one bedroom suite with small kitchenette area. The furnishings were older, but everything was neat and clean. Nice pools, gorgeous beach that goes on for miles, and resort is right on the beach. Downtown is a reasonable walk away, and the area is safe for tourists to enjoy. We ate most of our meals at Hemingway's, right there at The Sands. Very good food and service. Sc... Read more

This was my first visit to TCI and let me say that I was not disappointed. After reading reviews I decided to stay at Sands. It was just me and my child and we had a studio garden room. It was perfect. Room is tastefully decorated, spacious, and has a kitchen area and washer and dryer. The floors are tile and I got a little grossed out having sand on my bare feet after a shower, then getting into bed with "dirty" feet (trust me-being on a beach, you WILL find sand). No worries, complimentary be... Read more

My husband and I decided to vacation. We researched, and researched, and happily decided on Turks. We booked our trip through Costco. They offered some fantastic deals. After much research, we decided on Sands At Grace Bay. So happy we did. Everyone at the resort were very accommodating, and gracious. We were treated like royalty! We don't vacation much, and are very limited moneywise. We are happy with the choice we made, and had a fantastic time. Money well spent! Thanks Sands!

We were lucky enough to travel to Providenciales in the off season and The Sands was just wonderful! They were kind enough to give us a little upgrade and we LOVED having a full kitchen for breakfast every morning. We also enjoyed having a laundry unit. Our room had a nice patio with comfortable chairs and we were close to the pools. Service was wonderful, location was great (Grace Bay is beautiful), and amenities put this over the top! We used the bikes almost everyday! I had called managemen... Read more

My husband and I stayed here for a quick trip and loved it. We've been all over the Caribbean and Hawaii, and Grace Bay is my favorite beach. It is so clear and warm! We really enjoyed The Sands. The employees were attentive and the service was first rate. We loved the restaurant, the beach amenities, and our room was perfect...the screened in porch was a bonus too. We also met some awesome people while we were there, which made our trip even better. I would definitely stay here again. It's a... Read more

Great hotel in a great location. Awesome beach with many free water sports available to the guests of the sands at grace bay. The rooms were very nice and actually better than we expected. The prices were reasonable and hemingways (restaurant) was decently priced with exceptional food. Seemed pretty empty during our stay. However there were many families with children. And no nightlife after like 10 pm. Overall a great experience though. Will stay again.

Grace Bay Beach is beautiful and the Sands is located on an excellent part of the beach. I've stayed here and The Alexandra and prefer the Sands for it's closer location to downtown, rooms and service. Our one bedroom suite was spacious and very comfortable. If I could change something about the rooms it would be removing screens from the balconies, it's a shame not to have a clear view of the ocean. For food, Hemingways was ok for lunch, but there are many better options within walking or bikin... Read more

Beautiful white sand beach. Water sports or you can just veg and do nothing. Friendly staff. Clean. Hemingway's takes care of all your culinary needs when you chose not to eat offsite or in your kitchen equipped and very clean room. Nice quiet pools and a relaxing area to hang out on hammocks. Quality gym for a resort.

Baybz and I were spoiled during our honeymoon at the Sands at Grace Bay. The room was the size of townhouse, the ocean and pool was our view all day, the property was constantly being cleaned and the staff was super friendly. One of the highlights was the use of Hobie Cats for sailing the sparkling light blue and clear water. The SUP boards, snorkeling gear and other toys to play along the beautiful beach make life even better.

I went with my family to the Sands at Grace Bay for a 7 days vacation, the room was big and had partial view of the ocean. Nightmares started from day 2, where the staff did not replace the towels, so first day it was ok for us to call and have them replaced, then it was day 3, 4, 5 and 6 until I got tired of asking and told them I would provide a bad review, which they said, "go ahead, we got plenty of visitors". Despite a nice view, the food was not very good (crab cakes tasted funny, seafood drenched in heavy sauces). Our server seemed bothered we were there and each request (water, bread, drink menu) was met with an unwelcome face and a low-key huff. And it's relatively pricey too.

I should start by saying that my wife NEVER goes back to the same place twice but on account of a very pleasant visit in 2012 we returned to the Sands for a week in late June 2016. We had a great time and had the same very pleasant experience. First, one thing that differentiates the location of this residence is it's isolation from the plethora of hotels down the beach. There is nothing to the left or right of the Sands so when you go to the beach there are relatively few people. At this time o... Read more

We just returned from our second visit to the Sands - first one with kids in tow. While we had a blast on our couples trip, this is the perfect resort for families with young kids. First off - location is one of the best! You are within walking distance of fantastic restaurants up and down the beach and Regent Village is a 10 minute walk away. We highly suggest giving Bay Bistro, which is located a few hundred yards down the beach, a try for brunch - dinner there is also great. If you're up... Read more

This was our 2nd stay at the Sands. I booked the second time for a few reasons, but mostly because I didn't have time to research new hotels/matter of convenience. Our first stay went well with the exception of reserving an oceanview and getting something far less than that-which they corrected upon talking to the manager. The check in process went fairly smooth. We reserved a gardenview room to save money, since we had our two older kids with us-one to sleep on the fold out Queen size bed... Read more

The problem with the staff talking loudly and early has been fixed. Yes you're still just outside the stairway to the staff lockers but the happy/loud/noisy conversations early in the day are gone. Location is great right in the middle of Grace Bay. Hemingways restaurant is beautiful at night as well as nice views during the day. Our dinner there was delicious and lunch was okay. We chose the sands for our first visit to Turks. It was priced in the middle of the range of resorts. We visited pretty much all of the resorts on Grace. We made a good choice. The Sands was very nice especially for the money. A couple of pool options. Good beach umbrellas and chairs. Centrally located. Hemingways on the property. Staff was very accommodating and the condo was very nice. We will stay here again on our next visit.
