My husband and I stayed here for our 16th wedding anniversary! We had a great trip. We loved that the hotel was small and personal. The views from our ocean front room were just breathtaking. Breakfast in the garden was the perfect start to the day. Lopez was at the pool each morning to get us set up with chairs and towels. He and excursion coordinator Al understand customer service! Wish the pool wait staff would have been a little more attentive but otherwise great experience!

We had a 5 night stay in this beautiful resort staying in a one bedroom suite. We could not fault anything! Warm welcome from all the staff, fabulous room which is kept immaculate by housekeeping, excellent breakfast buffet, great restaurants and bar, lovely pool and the grounds are very well kept. It's the small touches that make all the difference! Bottled water freely available at the poolside and beach, water and chocolates in the room. More than anything I'd stay the service and friendl... All the great reviews posted here are true! We just got back from a week's stay and it was wonderful. Great (Jr suite) room: so spacious, cool, quiet, comfy bed, coffee/tea bar and so clean! The dinner restaurant is pricey but worth at least one splurge. It was the best meal we had all week (and that's saying something since there are many great local spots!). Men are fine wearing nice shorts, sandals and a collard shirt. No long pants necessary (thank goodness!). The poolside restaurant and swi... Read more

Just got back from a 4 night stay at The Palms. This was such an amazing property. The staff are very nice and incredibly accommodating. We added a third person at the last minute and they made sure that our additional guest was comfortable too. Definitely a place to relax, unplug, and leave your worries behind. We had a junior suite which was spacious and plenty of room for 3 adults. The room was nice and the bathroom was light and bright. We did not have an ocean view but that didn't ma... Read more

This is an expensive but beautiful resort. Expensive compared to neighboring resorts? I don't know, but definitely a lot of money to spend on a vacation. Our room overlooked the pool and had everything we could have wanted: an amazingly comfortable bed, sleep sofa, balcony, lovely bathroom and kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Housekeeping was great with turn-down service in the evening. The pool is gorgeous and is just steps from the white sand beach. There are plenty of beds and lounge... Read more

This resort was fabulous in every way that counts: location, friendly staff, quality & quietness of rooms, available amenities, and just general ambiance. It is pricey but everything on the island is so that's just something anyone visiting T&C needs to be prepared for. Nothing disappointed us in our 5 night stay there. We hope to return sooner rather than later; it was a great stay!

The management could have been more apologetic about the 3 fire alarms in our building during our week stay. We never once received an explanation of why the fire alarm was activated. Two of the alarms were very early in the morning and the staff seemed unaware/unconcerned of the situation. We just returned from a couples getaway sans kids at The Palms. We've travelled widely throughout the Caribbean, but this was our 1st time in Turks & Caicos. We had a suite with an ocean view and it was beautiful and very large with a full kitchen and living room. The pool and beach are absolutely beautiful and very clean and updated. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The one person that stands out the most was the concierge, Ariker Garland! I normally don't use the concierge at the hotels we visit but Ariker was outstanding! She was more than helpful in every single way and gave us excellent suggestions for restaurants. My review is long overdue as I've stayed here twice in the past 2 years and cannot say enough good things about this resort. Both times were wonderful. I am from NYC and therefore don't want to stay at the Gansevoort, we have two in this city, so I like a change. The food here is excellent, the restaurant is a must try and the breakfast is great. The yoga class and the spa are also really excellent. The beach is gorgeous as is the water and generally not overcrowded. I have high standards in a ... Read more

I just arrived today and we're celebrating our wedding anniversary and birthdays but I'm already disappointed. I must say that the staff couldn't be nicer, the resorts is beautiful and the beach is sublime but our room is a not as amazing as I thought it would be. The rug needs to be cleaned, the furniture is worn and there's no view in any of the junior suites we were told. When I said I'd pay to upgrade I was surprised to hear the upgrade is a whooping $1,000 a night on top of what we already ... Read more

I cannot say enough about this amazing island. Of course you're on vacation but the people are so kind and lovely it was more than a vacation. The hotel is pristine and the rooms are absolutely beautiful. I actually called to ask what kind of mattress was on the bed and bought it at home! My daughter and I went on half day snorkeling cruise which was great. Mostly just loved to lay on the beach. Free non motorized motor sports, water bottles all day. Free breakfast! I felt compelled to write a review praising the massage therapist Maureen Elliot. I am a dancer who has had tons of massages over the years. For my 50th birthday a friend booked me a deep tissue massage with Maureen. I must say it was the best massage I have ever received. First of all the facility is amazing! Included in the massage is steam and dry sauna that the attendant added essential oils too. The private cabanas by the reflecting pool and friendly staff were amazing, but Maureen was the ... The flight from New York on Jet Blue was quick and easy. The airport was well managed so transportation to the hotel was available, reasonable and pleasant. The trip to the hotel from the airport was less than 15 minutes so there was plenty of time to enjoy the first day after checking in. The hotel was nicely designed. The rooms were large and decorated as you would expect for any high end hotel. It is located on a beautiful, white sand beach with beautiful water. Service in general exceeded my... Read more

The Palms is a lovely property on a fabulous beach, however, hotel food was very expensive and frankly, not worth the money. We appreciated the complimentary water sports and my hubby happily sailed just about every day. Kayaking and paddle boarding were fun, too. I can't say enough about how beautiful the beach is. The turquoise of the water and soft white sands of the beach is glorious. Loved, LOVED the beach! Always plenty of sun chairs and umbrellas. We could have done with less noisy ... Read more

The Palms was an incredible getaway for my wife and I this year. The grounds were immaculate, the rooms (condos) were wonderfully furnished and plush, the pool and pool bar were relaxing and the beach setup was perfect. The water at Turks and Caicos is definitely as beautiful if not more so than anywhere else in the Caribbean. Everything inside the resort was in close proximity and the staff was very attentive and helpful (especially Remy, Jefferson and Eaton, thanks for making us feel so welco... Read more

The location of the resort is as close to paradise as I've come. The beach and water are impeccable. The water is calm and clear. The beach is clean, white and soft. The snorkeling is wonderful! The Palms is a great resort. The rooms are spacious. Service was good. One person who was fantastic was Yogi Moodelly. He worked so hard to make sure our experience was one of a kind. He was there at breakfast, lunch and dinner. He was always in a good mood. I can't say enough kind things about him.

We stayed at the palms for 6 days and 5 nights, no kids on this trip. The Palms was a very nice resort, definitely high class. We stayed in a junior suite as it was just the 2 of us, that gave us a kitchenette with sink, coffee maker, microwave and small mini fridge. The room size and kitchen was great size for 2 people. The rooms are quite nice and the swimming pool, restaurants and beach services are great!. Bedrooms could be a little quieter. It is like the doors don't block any noise at all, so I could often hear the maids and children yelling. There were kids on the room next to mine and it is like they were in our room. It can also be a bit challenging getting a good chair by the pool. Other than that the hotel is really five stars and I loved my stay!`

Our twins celebrated their sixth birthday at The Palms. It could not have been nicer! The staff learned our names right away, and were more than happy to help us make the day special for the kids. The beach has beautiful white sand, the pool is great fun for the whole family. We loved the shelf around the pool. The food and drinks were delicious. This resort is a great size for families with young children -- not too small and not too large.

If you are wanting a "no kid" stay then I'd recommend not going over the summer.
