My wife and I both felt that this property was the most beautiful we had ever stayed at. The buildings, the grounds, the pools, the beach - all were not only gorgeous, but always kept immaculately clean. Our room was spacious, comfortable (especially the bed), and we had an outdoor patio with an ocean view. The beach certainly earns its ranking as one of the best in the world. It was never too crowded, relatively quiet - just a beautiful scene. The on-site Pelican Bay Restaurant and Bar w... Read more

Accommodations were clean and comfortable. All appliances were in working order. We had two adjoining rooms, one for us and one for the kids, connected by a foyer, which worked out great. Our room, which was on a corner, had an obstructed view of the beach; our kids' room had a fantastic view. A bit of a hike to the beach from our room. Beach towels, as others have noted, were either gone or locked up with no staff available. Limited water equipment. Wifi downright painful; I ended up using the ... Read more

The resort is smaller than most with 8 buildings and 3 floors per building. The lower numbered buildings are closer to the ocean and the restaurant/bar. We were in building 8 which was furthest from the beach (though not far at all) and a quieter location. Our weather was perfect the whole week we were there, so that gives a much more favorable impression of the island and this resort. We enjoyed the Pelican Bay happy hour - and the food there is good and reliable. The bartenders and wait staff ... Read more

We were only here one night. We had a lovely room with a view of the ocean. The room was great and well appointed. It was far from the reception desk and I didn't feel that it was lit up well enough at night. The room was really expensive. The staff were really helpful. The pool was not heated but the location on the beach was perfect. The fireworks at midnight were spectacular as not only this resort but several along the beach were lighting fireworks at the same time.

Had a great time at RWI. The resort was clean, the beach is fantastic, and the grounds were well kept. The cleaning staff did a great job. Appreciated the use of the complimentary Hobie, snorkel gear, kayak, paddle board and bicycles. As stated in other reviews, the staff does not go out of their way to be friendly. They guarded your beach/pool towel usage closely and often ran out. This is a place where you take control of your vacation. There are no gyms, free water, room service,... Read more

We came back to RWI with a party of 12, 3 rooms. We had an ocean view in room 434. We started our vacation w/ a welcome back bottle of champagne. Beautiful ocean view, but not fond of seeing the back of the restaurant for the price. Room was great. We love the New Year's Eve beach barbeque @ RWI, with drinks, bonfire, burgers, chicken & fabulous fireworks. We stopped @ the market, loaded up our rooms with lunch, breakfast options & alcohol. The best game plan since we all brought coolers & brou... Read more

Wonderful beach, great views and fun little bar with great happy hour. Not luxury rooms, but not in the room much. I would rather have a great beach like Royal has since there are many places in Grace Bay with very narrow beaches and not flat They have a paddle board, double kayak etc for use. Friendly atmosphere and great bartenders. The Wednesday night lobster fest at the restaurant on property is awesome. We have stayed at Royal 3 times, if a two bedroom is needed I highly recomme... This is a nice and relatively small resort. The rooms are ok, the people were very friendly and helpful, particularly Eddy at the beach cabana. They even had waiters bringing drinks and food directly to your beach chair! The best features are the location, location, location! All the rooms are steps from the beach, you can walk to a couple of great restaurants in 10 minutes in town, and you can walk to multiple restaurants at other resorts along the beach. We only had to take a cab once, and t... Read more

Studio botanical is our selection, resort is still extremely well maintained. have been here numerous times and will continue. Very friendly and helpful staff. The Pelican Bay bar is a lot of fun. There is a casino right next store. You can order food an beverage items from L & M convenience and they will deliver for free. Well worth it.

This hotel was great. There were always plenty of chairs available at the beach, the rooms were very clean and the beds were super comfortable. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly during our stay. I also appreciated that the pool closest to the center of hotel, and next to our room, was designated as a "quiet pool" so we didn't have to worry about noise. The hotel also offers bikes that you can down the street to the grocery store which was great when I didn't want to take my rental ... Read more
