Amazing how they were able to construct around the caves and how authentic it looks, yet it has modern amenities like a jacuzzi tub, flat screen TV, and even the detail of the bowl sink fits in with the motif. The overall view is fascinating as well. Would definitely stay at Dere Suites again next time we're in Cappadocia.

Booked ahead as we had a long days drive to get there.Took notice of lonely planet saying that Urgup is a good place to stay.Mistake no 1. Goreme more open lots of hotels to choose from and generally has a much nicer feel than Urgup. Room was huge and nicely appointed staff friendly and reasonably helpful although i got the feeling they were trying to sell me their balloon flight and tour etc. Hotel brochure in the room stated that everyone received a complimentary red wine and fruit platter on ... Large & comfy rooms, relaxing ambiance, delicious food, friendly & smiling management was all we needed to have an excellent vacation for four days in Urgup! Oh, the location was perfect too! There were great restaurants nearby and we loved it! This is the hotel where I will surely choose to stay if I ever plan visiting Cappadocia again!

Free wifi provided. Every room have a different design. Pls note that no all the room have air-conditioner. The restauran is at the highest floor. The room quite big. May stay more than 2 persons. Anyone who have a problem to climb the staircase or with wheelchair, pls avoid to stay here coz no lift. For me i'll never try to stay in the cave hotel anymore coz its too antique. Some of the stuff are look old. The floor too dirty coz a lot of dust. Sometime while you sleep, some of the dust ... Read more

Had a fantastic couple of nights in this truly different cave hotel. A short walk from restaurants and shops. The room was huge and included a huge bathroom with huge bath. Good selection of food for breakfast and a good restaurant on the roof.

The moment you enter Dere Suites in Cappadocia is a breath of excitement. The rooms were spacious and spotless, warm and enchanting. Staff were very friendly and inviting. Not only is the view amazing but it is a 5 minute walk into the main town of Cappadocia!

Checking into the Dere Suites Cappadocia was an adventure in itself. This was a true cave hotel, with the rooms set deep into the cliff face. Our accommodation was a sort of junior suite, all one room but large, with a small table and love seat near the door, then a wardrobe and a queen-size bed and, beyond the bed, a rock niche lighted dramatically from below and, beside it, a ledge with a mattress that could be made into a double bed. The bath was spacious and appointed with lovely soaps, sham... Read more

This hotel, whilst unique in its situation, is redolent of Santorini or Coober Pedy with its rooms carved out of the limestone hill. The rooms have heaps of character, are very spacious and well appointed. The service was amazing, as was the breakfast they served.
