We stayed here self catering for a week in Summer 2014, the location is beautiful! We liked that it wasn't a very touristy area, the hotel itself is up a rather steep hill but they put on a shuttle bus to and from the center of Turunc itself. From Turunc you can get a boat or other form of transport to some of the more touristy spots. There is a small shop at the hotel that sells necessities and the al la carte restaurant is delicious. Our favourite spot was the cocktail bar with the big comfy ... Read more

We stayed in the Loryma, with our then 3 year old daughter, in June 2015. We had never been to Turkey before and chose this hotel because it offered self catering options rather than the standard all inclusive option which appears to be the norm in other accommodation. We booked a 2 bedroomed apartment and were so impressed with the overall experience that we have now booked to return again this summer (which we have never done). The location is spectacular, with breath taking views over th... Read more

The hotel is a little off the beaten track but there is a regular free bus service throughout the day. Taxi prices are cheap if you want to go down into the village at night although the bars and restaurants on site are excellent. The rooms are all kept clean by friendly staff with regular bedding and towel changing. It is not a brits only hotel which in my opinion makes it more interesting and despite a few negative comments i've seen everyone is friendly. Give The place a try you won't regret ... Read more

My husband and I had the opportunity to visit and had dinner several times at this resort. The proprietors truly understand what customer service is all about. The warmth and hospitality by their staff, the freshly cooked food from their own well maintained organic gardens, and the tranquil ambience contributed to a terrific holiday.

I had a chance to stay in Loryma for a night with my family. The place and the arthitecture of the houses impressed us. Loryma is a kid friendly place. You should definetly stay more than just one night. However the household goods in the rooms would be better. The bed, linens, TV, etc were not first quality. But this did not affect our stunning view.

Myself , husband and 15 yo daughter stayed here for 10 days end of May early June . We arrived very late at night , we were met and shown to our room and a plate of food /bread had been left for us in the fridge - nice touch. Our room/apartment was very spacious, 2 bedrooms - main bedroom having air con - other a ceiling fan this wasn't a problem at this time of year, the 2nd bedroom didn't have a mirror/dressing table - minor niggle . Spacious lounge area with tv , kitchenette fairly well equi... Read more

I've never seen such a big pool in a hotel before, amazing for swimming lanes! Spacious comfortable apartments with great view onto the sea! Food really fresh and homegrown, great variety! Lots to eat and buffet for every meal! Scrumptious!!! The location of the hotel and view overlooking the ocean is gorgeous! No complaints whatsoever but happiness all ... Read more

Loryma Hotel is good with the rules and seems very organized to me. This is my second visit and i will be happy to visit them every year for 2-3 days. They have good activities (biking, trekking, etc) everyday for the ones does not like burning his days by lying down under the sun and get tanned. Hotel is located in a very rural area in Turunc and it is 3-4 km away from the center. I would definitely recommend to visit this hotel with a car since hotel is far from the beaches or you can also r... Read more

Stayed here for ten days and the resort is wonderful with helpful staff. The views are incredible,if your a fit person they have lots to do like hiking and cycling but if like me you just want to relax you can, the apartments are roomy and clean and have everything you need including an iron and toaster. The only down side is it is in the mountain but there is a free shuttle bus and taxis are not expensive, I will be staying here again.

Loryma is a paradise for all those who value beautiful views, calm and serenity and a professionally run health-style resort all situated in the sunny climate of Western Turkey. Here are some of the main features and selling points of the resort: ‚?Ę Beautiful views: Loryma is nestled into the mountainside overlooking Turunc bay. The views are stunning and we found ourselves unable to draw our eyes from the beautiful sea and coastline as we watched the boats come and go all day. The resort is... Read more

From day 1 my family and I were made very welcome, set half way up the mountain with stunning views out across the bay, it would be hard to find anything better. The resort was very clean and tidy and the staff are a credit to this resort, always willing to help and assist to your every needs. The resort is very child friendly and catered for their needs also. Food was very good and they had a mixture of English and Turkish, heading more towards Turkish, both were very good. My partner and I were in the Lorymar in July 2016. The hotel was 60% down on numbers due to the collapse in the Turkish holiday trade following terrorist attacks. The day after we left, there was an attempted coup and I have no idea how this has further affected numbers of tourists. When we were there, the vast majority of guests were Turkish. There were some German visitors and a few British guests. Lorymar is a large number of apartment blocks spread through its own grounds on the side of a mo... Read more

Despite arriving on the night of the attempted coup, we had a fault-free and utterly relaxing holiday. The staff were attentive and helpful without being intrusive. The apppartment was spotless and well appointed with enough facilities to support a degree of self catering if desired. The internet slowed a little in the evenings but less so than many other hotels we have stayed in and it was free. The dining room was spotless and the range of food for breakfast extensive. The hotel was too quiet... Read more

Had a great time here. A la carte good value, probably better value than all inclusive. Town and people lovely, not at all pushy which is sometimes people's worry in Turkey. Recommended. Free bus to and from town. Taxi is about £1.50 (Aug 2015). The guys at the Mermaid beach bar/cafe are fab and know people like variety but by using same place regularly they are very loyal and go out of their way to please.

Third year running and Loryma has not disappointed. The hotel is beautifully situated and very peaceful. Rooms are simply decorated and spotlessly clean (with aircon) and the pool is so good we spent most of 2 weeks there. We stayed room only and ate out in the evening (lots of choice in Turunc), but we occasionally took the kids for breakfast (very good) and most days we ate lunch by the pool. The food is excellent and very reasonable and the kids ice cream selection (pool side) unbelievably go... Read more

My wife and I stayed here last week and had a fabulous time. Whilst there had been some concerns about security, following articles by the British media, it seemed very much "business as usual" in Turunç, with no obvious military presence. Sadly, tourism has been adversely affected and the hotel was running at about only 20% occupancy, which may have contributed to our blissful peace at the expense of the local economy. Whilst Turkey does border Syria and there have been issues in Ankara and Is... Read more

If you want to chill by the pool (the wind here is a god send for that) or get active by doing some of the activities - this place is offers both. Great family resort with a wonderful terrace bar for a lazy evening with a superb view. Popping into Turunc could not be easier, with Taxi's a couple of quid and always friendly. Great little gem of Turkey and very reasonable too.

Found it a bit expensive so most of the time we ate in turunc The only annoying thing was the free shuttle bus or I should say the people who jump the que every morning they would benefit from a first come bases.Wifi hit and miss I now you don't whatch much on holiday but you couldn't do so with this1990 set
