My sister and I did and 8 day tour of Turkey before the tour began we had 1 day at leisure and decided to stay on the other side of the City close to Taksim , as we were staying in the Sultanhamet area fro 2 nights leisure at the end of the tour so we wanted to experience both areas of Istanbul. We took a taxi from the hotel to Taksim (istikal street) which was a mere 10mins drive, the tram is also located close by. Awesome views from Bosphorus from the hotel roof, lovely small intimate breakfas... Read more

This hotel has all you need in a very discreet building. Good restaurant, really comfortable bed, ample rooms, powerful WiFi connection... Most of the must attractive places in the city are near by and the tram stop is a few feet away... I will totally re-consider it on my next visit.

Breakfast was perfect and have variety of options. Location is close to the old city and historical museums. Staff are kind and helpful. I stayed in this hotel before and liked to stay again because the service is good. Thanks to Kadir the front office manager.

Staff were very welcoming. Our group were late arriving and the staff immediately served us dinner even though it was late. They were interested in pleasing us. It is a smallish hotel which was nice. Rooms are a tidy size and you have a tv with English news...which is enough. Breakfast was good with nice fresh breads and different Turkish breads. It was nice to have the Turkish breakfast....lots of olives, different cheeses, spicy sausage, eggs, fresh fruit and soup! Coffee was very good. It is ... Read more

Positives: The location is handy as its in between 2 tram stops The staff for the most part were really friendly (especially the receptionists) The bed was huge and really comfortable The breakfast was delicious Negatives: There is a lot of construction going on right across the street so our "sea view" was spoiled - not worth paying extra for this There is not much within walking distance in terms of food / drinks The roof top restaurant which looks great on the website is a casual diner type ... Our room was a bit small with little room to move between the end of the bed and the wall. The hotel was a bit remote from the city attractions and was about 400 hundred metre walk from the closest light rail stop

Rooms are comfortable. 10 mins walk to the gallata bridge ,thank GOD AC works :-) Our first night we recived warm reception... Our last night not so much. May they got bored of us. We don't eat beef but one of the waiters confirmed a beef dish as lamb dish to my wife..I know about cooking so we found out before eating. This could be unacceptable for few societies. Anyway I wouldn't take the stars away because of some fool's mistake. Just a word of caution.
