Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus, one of the most classic and old hotel in Istanbul, built in year 1950s but it doesn't make you feel old ;) The location is great, walk-able distance to many restaurants, Taksim and the metro station. Executive lounge was great with many drink options to choose from, although food was just OK with very less options. I don't recommend their food for any vegetarian person, it's just plain or boiled stuff only. Hospitality was one of the best which I have seen during my st... Read more

This iconic hotel is apparently the oldest luxury hotel in Istanbul. I'm not sure about the luxury claim as it seemed like a fairly normal 4 star hotel to me. That said, the rooms were nice, the hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and courteous, there is a spacious bar and a good sized restaurant - offering both a buffet and a la carte options. The views of the Bosphorous from the terrace are excellent. The hotel is situated on the hill side in the European side, quite close to the new Bes... Read more

This place makes a great deal about it's illustrious past. Built in 1955 it must've been the premier hotel for a number of years in Istanbul. The grounds are very nice and the swimming pool is great when the sun is shining. The service was very good as well. The rooms are a bit tired however and you can't control your own air-conditioning. I believe for the value this is a great stay. It is easy to get down to the Sultanahmet area, walking distance to Taksim Square area, and has a fantastic Bosphorus view for those rooms facing that direction. It's a classic, nostalgic hotel and you can just tell how it must have popped when only the rich and famous travelled! Executive lounge is very comfortable and shares the same, great view. Double check on the parking if driving. Self-parking might be free versus valet. Enjoy!

Loved this hotel, very good location and very good service. The breakfast was amazing and the room overlooking the Bosporus was a great choice. Used the gym and was very happy with the equipment. Very nice experience, will go back again.

They have a fast efficient service, and great product. Well done.

prices are down in Istanbul now due to the USD/Turkish Lira exchange rate but also due to lower demand, so this makes the Hilton an attractive hotel now. located in the city center, with good service and rooms.

I have submitted my review earlier and as I mentioned that hotel need renovation and they have to replace the old furniture. Staff need to smile as it is not governmental job but hospitality Industry. They have to show the willingness only.

The hotel looks old on the outside, but its' renovated rooms are par to world-standards. However, it is a very iconic hotel from 1950's and provides the tenants with a stunning view of the beautiful Bosphorus Strait.

Spent a week here, very good. Liked the Gym and outdoor heated terrace. Great staff and service. Good views from lounge, bar, etc. Some rooms need an update but very good size and new bathrooms. I ate in hotel most days and was impressed.

Excellent service and facilities. Lovely atmosphere with all the modern amenities with a great breakfast and some great views of the bosphorus. Great value for what you get in a city centre location. Some nice history of the hotel on the walls.
