I have just spent ten days here for a long conference. My standard room was on the seventh floor and had a great view. I was doing long days and had room service most nights. The room service meal was quick and better than the evening open buffet. The staff were very helpful and the liesure facilities were pretty good - hamam, sauna, small pool and some fitness machines. It is very close to the Levent 4 metro station which is five stops from Taksim and takes about 20 minutes. Considerably ... Read more

I spent 3 nights at Bilek, on a business trip. This hotel isn't really welcoming. You enter and get a strange feeling. Everything is old, dull & dingy. The rooms are big, and very poorly lit, with dull yellow lights. The decor looks old. The bathroom is poorly lit as well. The air conditioner is switched to "heating only" mode in winter, which becomes very uncomfortable. The room would get very hot while it's switched on, and very cold when it's switched off. So you have to achieve the right b... Read more

The room was average. Old bathroom with questionable cleanliness. Old rusty pipes etc. It is an average hotel in a "local" area (i.e. not touristy) part of Istanbul. The morning staff was friendly and very helpful (even though they struggled a bit with English). The afternoon/night stuff on the other hand were far from it. Not even a fake smile.. Nothing.. The room in general was outdated and average. Good for a budget hotel (even though I stayed in better travelodges in the UK). BUT, this is n... Read more

I only stayed one night but the facilities were decent. The staff was very helpful for directions and helping me get a power converter. The hotel is located in a metro friendly area with some good restaurants/bars near the station.

At the Bilek you get what you pay for. The hotel is old and needs to be refreshed. However, it is clean and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Please note that it is located on a busy thoroughfare and can be quite noisy. In a city of 14 million people everywhere is noisy. The breakfast is good.

Take a room on top, the view is amazing. A breathtaking view of Istanbul on a clear sunny morning! Lovely and quiet location. Not a very good breakfast menu, but a good business hotel. Not many shopping arcades nearby, although there are plenty of malls.

The second floor where my room is located stinks. Well it just doesn't only stink the air is heavy with cigarette smoke. It doesn't help that the air conditioning does not work. The room is stuffy, stinky, unclean, and the eyes burn due to the cigarette smoke that pervades the whole floor. Now, for the positives, the hotel provides you with 2 bottles of 500 cc water for free, everything other bottle costs 7 TL, while it can obtained for less than 1TL outside. The breakfast is tasteless, in fact... Read more

I was here during a business stay in june. My room was not very large bit clean. I didn t have a nice view but at least there was no noise from the street. However since the hotel is located next to a mosque my sleep was disurbed several nights... The staff was friendly. The breakfast could habe been a little better but was ok.

Great location, less than 200 yards from the metro. Super helpful and friendly staff. Upon arrival the clerk saw that we had a few extra pieces of luggage and moved us this into a larger room at the same lower rate. Unfortunately, the rooms air-conditioner was not in the room where we slept and it was very unbearable for the first two nights. The temperature was in the low 90s during the day and the night. On the third night the hotel clerk moved us into another room where the air-conditioner... Read more

It was a pleasant stay in a comfortable room and delicious varied breakfast. The reception were very friendly and helped with photocopying the boarding passes, the Internet access, calling a cab, etc. The room themselves are spacious and clean, but you a loud call for prayer from the nearest mosque woke us up every morning even if the windows were shut. The facilities are good, and the Internet speed is satisfactory.

Really beautiful hotel. Really clean. The shower is excellent too. Can't comment on the food as I didn't dine here apart from breakfast which was nice but I'm not a fan of the continental breakfast anyway. Just a tip, if you're going to stay here I suggest you learn a bit of Turkish as only a few members of staff knew any English. This is fair to be honest as you are in their country. I'd recommend a stay here as it's really nice.
