Definitely a different lodging experience. Really liked it. Communications with the hotel management was prompt and easy. Room was clean. Breakfast was simple but good. And they can arrange excursions for you if you want. Hotel staff were always helpful and friendly. Wifi as strong. Definitely would recommend it.

The manager was very helpful in booking tours and very friendly. Staff was excellent and courteous. Even allowed us to stay in our rooms all day free until our evening flight out! Courtyard was available all day....great terrace breakfast room. Wonderfully close location to town centre.

We arrived and were offered 2 rooms at very good prices including breakfast. Everyone was very friendly and helpful at all times and managed to help with everything we asked for. "OruƧ", the owner, is a local man with a huge amount of knowledge about the area and Turkey and is eager to share this knowledge and help his guests as needed. The room we chose was clean, roomy and comfortable with a good sized bathroom. The hotel has plenty of character, built partly into the living rock and part sto... Read more

Oruc, the owner, met us with a glass of wine and interesting ideas for things to do. He arranged tours and a sports massage, and would have arranged a balloon ride except that we had already done so. I took a private tour which went to several locations tour buses cannot go. Oruc is not only knowledgeable but is able to drag or push you up and down the hills and caves, not a usual service from a tour guide! Here is an example of his humour: when I was out of breath from climbing, he said, "Si... Read more

Do not hesitate. Just go and stay. You will enjoy. OruƧ and other staff are very hospitable and friendly. Drinking a glass of cappadocian wine at the terrace is a must. Drinking a glass of cappadocian wine in the yard is another must.

Oruc Bey and his son Serdar have been extremely helpful during our stay in Caravanserai. In 3 minutes walk to the center. Worths the money you pay. The only thing is that there is humid in the rooms. But this is what you will get If you want to experience a cave house. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay here - particularly the character and design of the room, comfortable bed and pretty outdoor space. The staff was very kind and hard-working, though English was limited should you want more in-depth information. Breakfast was only okay. Missing some basic elements: no yogurt, no toaster and only Nescafe, which is a heinous way to start the day for a coffee drinker. I liked that the hotel did not push any tours and respected our desire to do independent hiking. We did boo... Read more

We stayed for 3 nights in the quadruple cave room on the main floor of the hotel. It was cozy and picturesque, and we slept very well - the mattresses and pillows were wonderful. The owner and his staff were friendly and knowledgeable, arranging an amazing balloon ride for us and giving us advice on where else we should tour in the area, without being pushy. I've seen some reviews say the wifi was poor, but that was not our experience. We had excellent wifi in the room and upstairs on the terr... Read more
