      Restaurants Details
Felix's Restaurant and Oyster Bar is located in the heart of the French Quarter with entrances on Iberville Street and Bourbon Street. Felix's is a traditional New Orleans restaurant serving our world famous oysters on the half shell and a wide variety of other fine food. We serve everything from fresh Maine lobster to grilled or blackened catch of the day, as well as Italian, Creole, and Cajun specialties. Felix's serves only the freshest seafood, receiving fresh oysters, fish, and crabs daily. We're more that a seafood restaurant though, serving steaks, pork chops, fried chicken, and red beans & rice. "Service was the worst at Felix Oyster bar I ever had while in New Orleans. Very unfriendly staff, looked like they hated to see the customers comeing in. Waitress never smiled. We had to beg for service. Need a attitude adjustment. Went to Acme later and was welcomed as we entered the door. Did have to wait for a table but smiles and service were there. Felix need to take get a lesson from his neighbor."

"I was just at Felix's with friends for lunch last month. We received probably the worst service you could ever imagine. We had to wait entirely too long for our food because our waitress forgot to enter our food order. ( I found out from another waitress that asked to please check on our order) When we questioned her about where our food was, she said that our food was coming from a different part of the kitchen; a statement whick made no sense.By the time she finally did appear with our food it was cold. Our waitress never smiled, never came back to check on us, didn't bring us silverware even after she "served" our food. We had to get up and get our own napkins and silverware and we had to flag down another waitress for refills on our drinks. I complained to the manager and she told me that she had been getting complaints on the same "waitress". I guess I understand now why there is always a line to get in to Acme Oyster Bar just across the street and there has never been a wait at Felix's. The food at Felix's is overpriced for what you get but that is expected in the French Quarter. However, there is simply no excuse for lousy service. The next time I am in New Orleans, I will wait in line at ACME. "
