Nightlife Details The Fillmore in San Francisco has been, in one way or another, a musical venue for nearly one hundred years, but it wasn't until the mid-60's that it rose to prominence as the birthplace of the hippie music movement. What began as a benifit for owner Bill Graham's mime troupe blossomed into the most famous music venue in the city.
