Visit this San Diego night spot when you want to hear a mixture of blues, funk, reggae and rock. Nightlife Details The Casbah has been open since 1989 and has hosted such bands as Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Lemonheads and Rocket From The Crypt. In the beginning of 1994 The Casbah relocated to a larger location and created an environment that welcomes live music at least six out of seven nights a week. The Casbah features an enclosed smoking patio, a back room with pool tables, pinball and a full bar and a music room with a full bar and state-of-the-art sound system.
