Enjoy the peaceful, horseshoe shaped Playa Santa Maria which is a protected marine sanctuary. Attractions Details Playa Santa Maria provides an excellent location for snorkeling or just relaxing on the warm sand which has a pink hue to it. This area is a favored destination by charter boats and diving excursions. Beautifully colored and friendly tropical fish surround you in the crystal clear water. Playa Santa Maria is beautiful and relaxing but bring your towels, sunscreen and sunglasses because there are no facilities around for the necessities.
