my 3 days stay in the club was relaxing and pleasant. the chum restaurant has excellent breakfast and dinner menu, from thai food, indian curries to continental menu they pretty decent mix. the ambience of resort is quite and relaxing. greenery sounds of chirping bird, courteous staff, proximity to beach and clean and safe atmosphere are the outstanding feature of the resort. beach though is little violent and location in north of island is far from the main action at patong and Phuket city, whi... After staying in the sister resort (opposite this vacation club), we decided to try the newer Anantara resort. It feels like a mini club med. With activities and kids club. Bicycles, kayaks, table tennis - enough to keep everyone occupied. The pool villa is awesome, equipped w modern amenities and furnished like a home. There are restaurants within the resort, however the food quality was really disappointing especially at THOSE prices. Anyway, there are enough eateries (local & western) rig... Read more

Just got back 2 days ago!! Very good pizza- must try. Do not expect the same facility quality as the hotel. No beach, no water sport, no SPA. Need to go cross the street to the Anatara Resort and enjoy these facilities. I stayed in the one-bedroom pool villa and it was very nice and spacious, but I would recommend the 2 bedroom villa because the private pool is also bigger.

Have now stayed several times over past 4 years- just seems to get better each time. It's just like coming home- the staff are so welcoming and no time is lost in settling in! AVC Phuket is just a short, safe drive from the airport. The resort is beautiful- esp the pool villas- ideal for families who want to 'be together' for their holiday but still have their own privacy. Rooms are well equipped for self catering, although no need for that as meals at the restaurant(and by the pool) are very r... Read more

Just spent 10 days at this resort and had a thoroughly wonderful trip. Whilst I personally wouldn't call it a five star resort it is without doubt a fantastic place to take the family. The 2 bedroom pool villa was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The service was great and all of the staff were exceptionally friendly. My 5 year old son tells me it's the best holiday he has ever been on, all of the staff knew him by name after a week and could not have made more of a fuss of him. The ... Read more

I stayed there second time and it was again excellent. Accommodation, food, service almost everything - except shuttle to Phuket..Its expensive and always late, use rather taxi. Beach is in walking distance, very quiet and clean. You can borrow kayak, catamaran or "stepper"

With the added teen zone and activities such as rock climbing and trampoline, the resort becomes even more attractive. We do not love returning, it's like our 2nd home. We feel safe with kids running by themselves in the resort.

I visited this place with 10 family members recently and we had a great time at the resort despite that this is a no-beach property. I am a hilton vacational club member and had greatly appreciated the opportunity to stay at this club resort. I loved the location which is far away from Patong which is like a mad place thesedays, and enjoyed the serenity this place provided. As it is not at the beach front, it only takes 5 mins walk across to its sister villa resorts which is pretty unique t... Read more

To be honest, this is a well-maintained and managed property. Even though it does not face the sea, it is like a quiet paradise in its own land. All servers are friendly and up to a luxury Thai resort professional standard. But our experience of reception was not as excellent as another Anantara hotel I have been to. It was crowded when we arrived and the welcome drink was not delivered to guests who were resting in the lobby but was only left in front of the person who was doing the check-in. ... Read more

We booked this resort through our timeshare for our first ever visit to ThAiland and it is absolutely beautiful. We also bought our 24 year old son and his friends and my 21 year old daughter and her boyfriend- they all loved the accommodations which are modern and very spacious- for them the downside was the location - its Bout an hour to the main touristy Patong party area (about 1,000 TB each way). My husband and I on the other hand were very pleased to be no where near Patong (but close eno... Read more
