I spent one night here on a guided tour and it may very well be the best hotel in Sukhothai. The tour company is usually astute about chosing hotels and I believe that this is the best the area has to offer. It is not bad and has a lot of character. TYhe breakfast buffet was a little above average. The grounds were splendid. The rooms thems elves are a little rustic for my taste. The bath has no hot water in the sink and the ceiling height in the tub/shower is too low for a tall man to sta... Read more

Legendha Sukhothai was like an oasis. I preferred spacious rooms, and mine exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was probably the best thing about the place. (I recommend the hot coconut cake.) Staff was accommodating and helpful. Wat Chang Lom was located besides the resort. A must-see. (It's a huge bell-like chedi, where 32 elephants surround it.) The Sukhothai Historical Park was several hundred meters away from the resort. It would be possible to walk during a cool morning. Otherwise, hire a t... Read more

Traditional and comfortable accomodation, good food and very nice location in the Sukhotai historical park. Swimming pool and rooms along a river with bridges crossing. Very romantic. A temple is across the road and can be visited conveniently.

. You've got to remember that Thailand is a 3rd world country. More of their hotels in rural areas aren't up to American standards. Although I feel the rooms are a bit rustic for a long stay, I feel this hotel is was a pleasant retreat for an overnight stay during our tour throughout Thailand. It has small, but beautiful temple located adjacent to the hotel. Another UNESCO site and also of the oldest sites in Thailand isn't too far away. The food is average. They offer some local entertainment d... Read more

My husband and I were overall pleased with our stay at Legendha, the staff was kind, the breakfast was fantastic, pool very nice, bar was well stocked. However, the wifi was terrible, which is frustrating when you actually need to use it.

We return here almost every year. Sukhotai has of course a lot to offer as it once was the capital of a middle age kingdom. The hotel is quiet even though it's on the road to the new town. What i like about it is the fact that it is built around a canal, that there is a beautiful monument - the elephant wat - at walking distance and that they serve (among other things) khanom kluk for breakfast. Ask for it because it's hard to explain. The rooms are ok but rather dark, which is ok on bright d... Read more

Lovely tropical flowers, lush vegetation setting with pools, water falls, streams. Beautiful pool to cool off. Rooms are rustic, clean, quaint. Staff was very helpful in arranging our night out, transportation for us and recommending restaurants. Very close to historical park, be sure to visit the historical park at night, even if you saw it during the day. It's MAGICAL !!

Hotel was great, not far from the Historical Park. Rooms are lovely, AC was hard to get adjusted, too hot!! The pool area is more than inviting. Lovely setting among numerous flora plantings, enjoyed my stay.

It's very convenient to the historical park and a decent place to stay for one night, but not a place I would spend anymore time in. Basic hotel amenities, good internet connection and great air conditioning. Only one English language TV channel - BBC World News - so don't plan on being entertained in your room! Hot water only available in the shower, not the sink. Massage services are twice the cost of same in Bangkok. Restaurant is basic buffet, nothing special.

Pros: 1) Location - very closed to the historical park 2) Gardens - very nice gardens surrounding the hotel 3) Rooms - Big and clean Cons: 1) Very poor service - Not a single smile or good morning, all staff was too busy with their mobiles... very disappointing. When asking for something they look at you as you were disturbing them. 2) Poor Breakfast 3) No bicycles for rent I will not recommend this hotel to anyone... although the location and infrastructure are really good the staff was just ...
