We return here almost every year. Sukhotai has of course a lot to offer as it once was the capital of a middle age kingdom. The hotel is quiet even though it's on the road to the new town. What i like about it is the fact that it is built around a canal, that there is a beautiful monument - the elephant wat - at walking distance and that they serve (among other things) khanom kluk for breakfast. Ask for it because it's hard to explain. The rooms are ok but rather dark, which is ok on bright d... Read more

Lovely tropical flowers, lush vegetation setting with pools, water falls, streams. Beautiful pool to cool off. Rooms are rustic, clean, quaint. Staff was very helpful in arranging our night out, transportation for us and recommending restaurants. Very close to historical park, be sure to visit the historical park at night, even if you saw it during the day. It's MAGICAL !!

Hotel was great, not far from the Historical Park. Rooms are lovely, AC was hard to get adjusted, too hot!! The pool area is more than inviting. Lovely setting among numerous flora plantings, enjoyed my stay.

It's very convenient to the historical park and a decent place to stay for one night, but not a place I would spend anymore time in. Basic hotel amenities, good internet connection and great air conditioning. Only one English language TV channel - BBC World News - so don't plan on being entertained in your room! Hot water only available in the shower, not the sink. Massage services are twice the cost of same in Bangkok. Restaurant is basic buffet, nothing special.

Pros: 1) Location - very closed to the historical park 2) Gardens - very nice gardens surrounding the hotel 3) Rooms - Big and clean Cons: 1) Very poor service - Not a single smile or good morning, all staff was too busy with their mobiles... very disappointing. When asking for something they look at you as you were disturbing them. 2) Poor Breakfast 3) No bicycles for rent I will not recommend this hotel to anyone... although the location and infrastructure are really good the staff was just ... The hotel is located close to the historical park which I think is great. The room was spacious. The swimming pool was OK. The service was average. If you intend to visit the historical park I recommend this hotel.

The staff is so jaded because they cater to the tour bus crowd that they have lost sight that some people are actual seasoned travelers that would appreciate some good attitude and service. They will not go out of their way to do anything that could make your stay more pleasant. The restaurant is really bad and the rooms are 2 star at best. Also there were lizards and a couple of millipedes in the room. I can deal with a small lizard or two, but not a millipede. My wife and I have traveled to So... Read more

This establishment has a charming Thai village resort setup. The resort is beautiful to walk thru with quaint fountains, bridges, flower and trees. Thai lantern lights all contribute to the exotic atmosphere . Our room had a gorgeous red stained wood floor. Wood accents and interesting tiled bathroom with wood feudal hall doors lent an authentic Thai feel to room. We also had dinner in hotel restaurant - food was excellent and the staff helpful and pleasant.

Rather go to another hotel. This place is run down and not loved. We nearly drove Passed hotel thinking it was someones house from front , no big signs . The massages are weak and average. The dinner Is below average but breakfast is good. The bathes are to small and rooms passe. On up side its cheap and they respond to e mails quickly. Internet is also reliable and location is good .

Taxi from the airport 900B (1US=35B), close to the old town, Thai country scenery. Walk across the bridge to the reception. Charming old Thai structure hotel. What I like best was, walked through the back aisle, voila, a world heritage temple there. Well, there's some things you need to know. No in-room safety box, you can use at the front desk one. Nothing around the hotel, unless you have your own transportation. If you prefer walk around the ton, book the new town. Hotel room, a bit old, our... Read more
