We first came to Centra Ashlee in 2012 and had a great time, it's in a great location, nice and central and staff were great. Our visit this time it seemed nothing had changed, rooms are a bit dated, the whole building needs a good clean and update. Bed linen was clean and fresh, otherwise bathroom, towels and pool towels are in poor/ dirty condition. We also had a problem with housekeeping leaving our door unlocked constantly despite telling the front desk everyday this still kept happening. Fo... Read more

Most of the staff were really kind and helpful but my partner and I found the services and utilities not up to standard. We would go out for the day and almost every time after we came back to our room, our door was left unlocked by house keeping staff.. Our shower was broken and wouldn't stay up right, it would either slowly turn left and spray against the wall or turn right and spray on to the shower curtain. On a positive note, it is in a good location. Close walk to the beach, shops and not ... Read more

When I first checked in, I went to my room and the key didn't work. Went down to the front desk, grabbed another card key and had the same problem. On the third try, I opened the door and there was a couple sleeping! They gave me an occupied room key! I went to the front desk again and finally they gave me an empty room with a key that worked well. The room is a little bit dark, but it's ok. Really hard bed. Toilet old as one 2 or 3 star hotel. Breakfast fine for a 3 star hotel as well. P... Read more

Been at this hotel for 1 night, and spent the 1st evening looking for another hotel. The room is dirty and especially the bathroom, the bed is so hard it's unbelievable, would prefer to sleep on a bed of nails! Id say, pay a little extra and get a proper resort hotel, especially if you are comming with your family. This hotel was rebranded on the 1st June 2016, and is now called the Ashley Hub Hotel, they need to do so much more than rebranding, an overhaul of this hotel is a must.

I just want to start off by saying I'm pretty certain it's not Centra/Centara owned any more, can't see Centra anywhere and where I can it has been covered with tape, cut out or just removed. I stayed here with my partner for the last leg of our Thailand holiday and it was rubbish out of the three centara hotels I stayed at. Unbeknown to us until we arrived in Thailand but we had actually booked all our accommodation at Centara hotels, (Centara Watergate in BKK & Centara Villas in Koh Samui) whic... Read more

Second time here, place is priced very well for such a nice place. Good internet (although constant logging in is annoying) Struggled with communications a little this trip but not last time. Great location, love sitting on balcony overlooking the busy street and listening to hard rock cafes live band.

Stayed here for 4 nights in our last leg of our trip. Definitely can say it was the best hotel we stayed in. Room was very spacious and modern same with the bathroom. The rooftop pool was awesome, lovely view. The only downside was there was only 1 lift and you had to walk up a flight of stairs to the pool. It is also very loud considering there was a bit of nightlife going on just next to the hotel but other then those couple of things I think this is a lovely hotel for the price, it's not luxu... Having stayed here for the 5th time....I will be back. This hotel is a great place to base yourself whilst in Patong, be it for business or pleasure. It is centrally located and only a 3 minute walk to the beach. The staff as always were fantastic and more than helpful. The facilities this hotel provides are great and noting beats unwinding next to the roof top pool. I will be staying here on my next visit to Patong.

I've stayed at this hotel maybe 10 times over the last 4 years and never had a problem. Then it was the Centra Ashlee run by Centara Hotels and was a pretty decent hotel with great staff and the rooms were pretty good with good facilities. Now its called the The Hub Ashlee and things have changed, or basically nothing changed and the rooms being over 6/7 years old are pretty run down with the same bed linen and towels, etc, very old. The first room they gave me stank off sewerage so they moved m... Read more

We stayed here recently for 16 days. Absolutely enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It has great location, all night life happens just around it, you don't have to walk far. Although it gets a bit noisy at night and the noise will continue till about 2 a.m. - if you stay on the upper floor like we did, with aircon running and balcony door closed, the noise will not disturb you all that much. All rooms have nice big balconies. Swimming pool is on the roof, it is not very big but nice and there is al... Read more

Stayed for 3 nights there...great location, walking distance to Jung Ceylon with many little shops and restaurants along the way. The staff are amazing, in fact originally I had booked Ashlee Heights but upon getting there realised it was too far out, hilly and as I was travelling with an invalid friend, she could not negotiate the paths. They kindly rebooked us at the Ashlee Hub which was PERFECT for our needs. A very nice young man on the desk at the Ashlee Heights went overboard to assist us ... Read more

My wife's Thai family booked a trip for us in Phuket Thailand. The area or the actual location of the hotel is right at the flea market. Bars and call girls everywhere. If u like music blasting until 4am, this is the spot for u! The hotel has terrible service, cockroaches in the rooms and the pool is a joke. Thai standard of 4 stars is not even a Howard Johnson motel. Pay the extra and go closer to the beach.

If you like to be close to Patong Beach, Hard Rock Cafe, Hooters and hundreds of shops, then this is the hotel for you. If you don't mind that the rooms are rather old with plumbing falling out of the wall, then this is the hotel for you. If you like noise, go for it. If you like to have breakfast in a non A/C environment, go for it. If you like waiting for the one and only elevator for 8 stories, you got it :-) It is - however - very cheap, and you probably get what you pay for. The staff at th... Read more

We are leaving this morning after 4 nights stay and really expected the worst after reading the reviews. We are in Thailand it's far from a 5 star resort but it has everything you need in and out side the hotel. Yes you can hear the music but you learn to block it out and the children didn't even notice it. The view of all the action on the street from the balcony was amazing never a dull moment. The roof top pool was great also. Breakfast was not so great and the 1 little pan cooking the eggs... Read more

It's a very good spot if you want to be close to the little hut bars and Hard Rock Cafe lots of shops close by, about 10-15 mins walk to Jocelyn Shopping mall and a short stroll to Patong beach. The hotel itself is average, rooms could do with a make over and the air conditioning in our room was very noisy. Wi-fi was alright sometimes and other times couldn't connect at all. Breakfast was very average and not a great selection, the best thing about it was the coffee machine. One elevator for the... Read more
