We honeymooned in Phuket early May 2016 so in order to "maximise" our stay, we decided to split our stay between two places, Patong first for all the "seeing and doing" and then Kata Noi, for some sun and sea R&R. After reading the reviews in TA and checking the location, we decided to stay at The Crib Patong. Basically, we needed a nice, clean and safe place to crash which was also centrally located so that we could minimise on public transportation. The Crib Patong fulfilled all these and the... Second time staying here and it was just as nice as my first stay! The hotel was busy but the staff were always friendly and happy. As before, the hotel was comfy, clean and the staff always happy to help out. Would gladly recommend this hotel.

For the price we paid this was a pretty amazing hotel. The front desk staff was very polite and helpful, spoke good English. All other room service and housekeeping staff were well mannered too. Like the little touches such as umbrellas in the room for our perusal. Also, we could get beach towels on loan from the front desk. Saved us from figuring out what to use at the beach! Clean and new, all in all this place was worth it.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. It is also centrally located in Patong area and easy access to everyway around Patong. Night market with food just around the corner and a big shopping mall is just 2 minutes walk.

got here by a mini van we rent. me and my friends are happy to go to the front desk. surprisingly, the staff on the desk was really rude and unfriendly. but well, that is not a problem to us. we already booked a superior room with two beds. I thought that we can bring our 2 friends (all male no prost or what) but the girl on the front desk get really mad and yell at us cannot! i tought he was drunk or had a personal issues or what (forget about her) so she said smthg to the technition guy and th... Excellent new hotel very close to Bangla Road. Rooms are clean and comfortable. All very modern. Great rooftop pool. Junceylon Mall really close by. For the price you pay you can't go wrong staying at The Crib. I will be back.

We had a really nice stay at the hotel. It was clean and all the amenities were in place, except our bathroom door did not have a latch. This place is very near to the Patong beach and the walking street. We could easily stay up and roam around. The mattresses were super hard and the swimming pool is fascinating!

The Crib Patong is in a perfect location as it is within a 3 minute walk to one of Patong's main shopping centres - Jungceylon shopping centre as well as being 5 minutes walk away from Bangla road (main night life strip) and 15 minutes walk from the beach. There are plenty of shops and restaurants right outside the hotel with a fish market serving great meals setting up every evening right beside the hotel. The hotel itself is very clean and seems quite new. The staff are very friendly and the s... Read more

I stayed in this hotel for two days . Actually there is nothing interesting about it the room was normal clean but very simple and comparing to the price its expensive. It's 15 mins walk to paying beach . For me it was not that good because of the price and no breakfast, but for people who want just a place to sleep I think this place is good and in the center

This budget hotel has great value. It's fairly new and modern in a great location. The rooms were a bit small but has all your basic needs for a pleasant stay. Big bottles of shampoo and shower gel, free water bottles restocked daily, fridge, safe, umbrellas to borrow, balcony, A/C and TV. The rooms were clean and modern looking. Right outside the hotel had a couple of western eateries, laundry service and non-sleazy massage place. The location of the hotel was great as it was walking dist... Read more

If price is the main factor, The Crib Patong is an ideal hotel. i was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews on Trip Advisor. But a five day stay at The Crib & everything changed. Yes the rooms are simple, the bathroom is small, the pool at terrace is small & house keeping is not available after 16:00 hrs. So close to Jungceylon & the beach. The Wi-fi connectivity is simply superb. But as i started my review - at this price, The Crib was truly an awesome experience. My kids really enjoye... Read more

Stayed here for a week in June, hotel was lovely and central right in the heart of Patong. I checked in after 1am from a late flight and there was no hassle at all, check in was fast and smooth, 1000 baht security deposit is taken but you get it back upon check out. I stayed in a deluxe room on the 7th floor, the room was spotless I couldn't fault a thing, daily room cleaning and replenished amenities tea and coffee, shampoo and body wash also supplied. Stayed in a deluxe room, booked directly with hotel reservations team, very nice & modern hotel, close to all attractions of Patong beach such as Bangla walking street, Jungcylon shopping mall, banzaan fresh market. Room was clean & well maintained. Staff are very welcoming, helpful & friendly, from reservation (Naissy - reservation mgr.) to reception to housekeeping, all were outstanding. Will definitely stay again for my next holiday. Thank you,

Before I review the hotel, I would like to share my general impression and comments on Patong area. Almost all of the 3 star hotels in Patong are very similar in every way, and the way they provide their services. It's very crucial to keep in mind that Thai people are very friendly, and will try their best to help you. The problem is that they speak very little English, and they can't engage in an effective mutual conversation. Additionally, they are accustomed to their culture that would barle... Read more

Walking distance to the beach, Bangla Road and a few steps from Jungceylon Mall. Restaurants and shops are everywhere when you get out of your hotel. If you want to be in the middle of action in Patong with a budget, this is definitely the hotel for you. Rooms are modern with cute and trendy designs. The view was the windows of the hotel next right to you so we kept the curtains shut at all times. Equally accessible to the Jungceylon mall which has a good Selection of restaurants and a well equipped grocery. This mall even has a nice movie theatre. I got a deluxe room which was spacious and had a nice tub. It even had a small balcony. I liked the minimalist room decor and the rate I paid included breakfast buffet which was good altho... We had read good reviews before we booked and the The Crib definitely lived up to it. Very good location - 10-15mins walking distant from Bangla Street and Patong Beach. Rooms were comfortable and most importantly, clean. Wifi was good too...and it was all at a very affordable price. Staff however could have been a little more friendlier.

The room were nice, clean and kind of modern I'll say. However we waited for 2hours+ to get our room in the lobby. First we were told "around 30 minutes", and these 30 minutes just never came down. The service in the days we were there was not impressive. Personal is bad a speaking and understanding english, which is a humble. Besides that, the hotel is located close to parties, Bangla rd and the Thai boxing stadium - and the rooms are pretty good. Be aware - do not expect what you'll see on th... Read more

Their service is okay but the staffs are very helpful even though they can't speak english fluently, but they do have one supervisor can speak english so she will assist you.The breakfast is not bad but not so variety. Stayed here late October 2016. I must say I got the best value for a hotel at the price point at that time. Pros: 1) Economical 2) Very close to the heart of Patong nightlife (Soi Bangla) .... 500m walk to Illuzion and Seduction nightclubs and to Patong beach 3) All basic amenities provided in the room 4) On top of everything else, they also have a small rooftop pool ... I must say this was our best pick while in Thailand. Just to give a comparison, all the other hotels were within the same price range, but we never got the same service level. The hotel is clean and well decorated. Daily cleaning, within 30 min max after you'd put a sign "please clean the room". You get free coffee/tea making facilities in the room, as well as two bottles of water every day per room. My wife and i stayed at this Hotel In November. Location fantastic five minute walk Bangla Rd, Shopping Centre etc. Only Negative thing i would say, The walls between rooms are so thin. One evening we recieved a call from reception to turn down the volume on the Tv. It was by no way loud. Think people who complained next day tried to pay us back by leaving tv on all night, which could be heard on our room. Some of the staff also were a bit rude.
