Railay beach is a busy place, lots of long tail boats coming in and out all day. The scenery is spectacular and the beach is good despite all the people and boats. There are lots of restaurant options within walking distance, which is a big plus, although there is a similararity to most of the food. Plenty of fresh juices, Thai food and a good wood fired pizza place down the path between west and east railay. The resort is up to standard, the lagoon pool is great to hang out at. They don't have ... Read more

Location good with easy access to beach which can get busy with day trippers so good to have choice of 2x well maintained pools to alternate with beach. Room very spacious and great to have spa bath and great views of own garden, pool and limestone kaarst in the distance. Attention to detail from housekeeping staff light on with requests needed for replacement toiletries, tea, coffee etc. However staff very cheerful and keen to help when requested

The hotel is far from the level of comfort I am used. The sheets and the bed are not good. Service is just regular. SPA is closed. Reception is not organized. The breakfast is just OK and we did not like the set menu dinner

Very popular beach , unique landscape .. maybe a little too popular ! A nice large beach with a healthy sized crowd . You won't get that peaceful beach vibe with the mass crowds and the endless noise of long tail boats dropping more people off but the scenery is quite spectacular , worth a visit but I wouldn't stay for any longer then a half day here . Plenty of beaches nearby that offer the same type of scenery , less amendities but much more peacefulness

Railay Village Resort is located centrally on West Railay Beach and therefore in the middle of all the busyness of tourists and boats coming and going - so depending on what you are looking for, could be bad or good. The hotel itself is attractive if older but well kept. Despite its central location it does manage to provide a sanctuary from the craziness of the beach front, with several well done pools and a very appealing tropical jungle feel along the walkways. Breakfast is included and is ... Read more

We booked Railay Village Resort for New Year on the last leg of our trip. The price was quite expensive but we were willing to pay for a good location and to stay on Railay Beach for New Year. The resort is set in beautiful grounds away from the crowded beach, and has all of the facilities you would expect. We stayed in a deluxe pool view room upstairs, which was more than big enough for the three of us and very comfortable (hard beds as usual in Thailand though). The restaurant is on the expens... If your budget allows, I would recommend staying on the west side of Railay because that's where the beach is located. (The east side is also flanked by water, but there's no usable beach.) Railay Village was a solid option in Railay West with air conditioned villas, two pools, and a substantial breakfast buffet (complete with an omelette station!) **One thing I noticed: many of the resorts on the west side are Muslim-run, so you will not be able to get alcohol (or pork) at the resort. We didn'... Read more

One of three resorts here. A little expensive but this is the high season. It was not crowded, though. The staff are quite nice but the English is limited. The rooms are pleasant if a little dark, the pools are nice, and the restaurant is serviceable if somewhat boring. Room service was adequate though not what we would have expected for the price. The location is great with the food and service row right next door. It is easy to get to other places from here. The restaurant has a great sunset ... Read more

We were traveling with a toddler and we had a lovely stay at the Railay Village Resort. We stayed in a deluxe pool side room for 3 nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. It's a short walk to the beach (literally just in front of the resort) and to the eateries in the village. We really enjoyed our stay here!

We have had an amazing Long weekend here. The jacuzzi villa rooms are spacious, clean and well kept. Quiet and close to everything. 2 great pools. My Daughter loved that the beach and the ocean was right there. Can hire kayaks and stand up paddle boards and charge to the room, the breakfast is basic but great and suits the beach holiday feel. The coffee shop on site is amazing - lived for the morning western iced coffees. Will be back
