Great location for scenery. Pools areas aree very nice. Property well maintained. Room maintenance is so-so. I was there 4 nights with my wife at the villa 1001. Room are quite nice and modern - LED lights, near bed panel that allows you to control 4 light zones and AC. Spacious room, very ergonomic, but you may want to be decent when going to the entrance closet, safe or to the entrance area since the main door made of translucent glass. Other reviews indicated mold in the shower. This is true... Read more

It's a very nice resort. In the right place. Although the beach sometimes is crowded, the rooms are quiet and relaxing. The breakfast on the beach is an experience, although there could be more variety of food

Clean. This is not something I would use to describe this resort. The photos and reviews all look great. We were excited have our own jacuzzi in our private cottage. We showed up to the front desk and they seemed less than excited to have us there. We had been to two other hotels / resorts before that where we had great service. Everyone would stop and say hello - a proper Thai respectful welcome. Here, though, it was more of a routine to try and get you out of the lobby. They carried our ba... Read more

Hotel is just in front of the beach which is amazing. Restaurants nearby offers good food. Clean, big and comfortable rooms. The swimming pool was never crowded, great to hang out and get a sun tan. Friendly staffs, speaks English. Offers boat services and tours to neighboring islands.

This place really was amazing! Beautiful pools and close to night life. The rooms were gorgeous - updated and stunning! The spa massage was heaven! It was relaxing and enjoyable. A few notes to be aware of: The beach has no beach chairs - I like to get out of the sand but still be on the beach The beach is very busy with boats - hard to relax on the beach when boats constantly come in and out and tours are leaving and going all day. Snorkeling was a disappointment. Lots of reefs and cli... Read more

We spent 2 nights at Railay village during our tour ...the hotel is on the railay west beach, the most beautiful...is very confortable, large and beautiful room, trip services, good restaurant and very nice staff. And the location is wonderful, just on the beach, ready to sit down and wait for the magic sunset.

Went here, just my wife and I from KL, Malaysia. We stayed at the Railay Village Resort for just two days. We called ahead for the hotel to send transport from Krabie airport and that was a big win. Taxi with AC picked you up, they drive to the docks and a Thai longboat brings you to the resort. The hotel got this part down to a science. The breakfast buffet is limited, the beach is amazing. Additionally it's a "dry resort", meaning that you have to walk next door to the "walking street market" ... Read more

Staff were friendly and mostly helpful when they knew what you were trying to say (some staff had limited English & combined with our limited thai made things occassionally difficult to express). Room was very spacious and quiet. Had a lovely sleep in the room. The swimming pool was lovely, lots of trees and sun beds to lie on. The breakfast was average and limited but edible. The tables next to the beach were lovely. We stayed for 3 nights and would probably stay again.

We arrived at the hotel with a very warm welcome , and a very nice room . Once we started looking into the room we found out that the sheets had blood stains and they had rips . The AC worked amazingly and the sound did not bother me at all . The housekeeping was not good . Yes the room was left cleaner but the mini bar never refilled and the sheets never changed in our 8 day stay . Towels were changed daily ?????. The restaurant has very nice staff and he food is very good , the breakfast is... Read more

Stayed here one night then moved to Sand Sea Resort because it's exactly the same but $25 cheaper! Actually we liked Sand Sea better - loungers facing the beach and they provide a beach bag with sand mat in each room for your use, which Railay Village does not.

On the whole, we had a delightful 2 night stay. Old world charm, tranquil and surrounded by tropical lush fauna. A few things to watch out for: 1) Our room AirCon was not effective, and it took 3 attempts to rectify the fault. The reception kept telling us that the 'technician' fixed the AirCon, but this was not the case. Only when we asked for a room move, did the AirCon get fixed. 2) Room Service: We decided to order room service the first night because it was raining. The quality of (western)... Read more

I was expecting more. We spent 3 nights here and I was literally counting down until we could leave. The resort has so many mozzies at night that I didn't even want to leave our room. The resort has lots of ponds and I suspect that to be a source of the mozzies. Basically a mozzie breeding grounds. There is no vent out of the room, so the room has a damp, musky smell and overall eek type of feel. The Ac kept going out on us. The floors were so slippery that my two toddlers fell many times... We had a lot of fun during my 30th bday celebration at krabi. Our room was the nearest to the reataurant, information and pool area. So it is really convenient going out anytime we would like to. Just a slightly not good experience is at the restaurant area during breakfast, for the staff keep on asking us if we have given the breakfast coupon already. As if their food is that tasty and clean to sneak just to have a free food. So please, I hope the management will make some changes. But over... Read more

As long as you don't mind the effort it'll take to get here, it is so worth the journey! They made our long journey seamless and the transition from airport to taxi and taxi to ferry and from the pier to hotel effortless. Its just bliss. Its not luxury, but the staff are amazing and pay attention to details and the room is clean and spacious. Beds are firm and pillows a bit too fat for my liking but that was the only thing I can report however-we didnt bring it to their attention so we didnt giv... Read more

If you are looking for places to stay for your honeymoon on Railay Beach then the Villa Jacuzzi Suite at Railay Village Resort is where you want to be. We spent four nights here and enjoyed every minute. We opted to pay the extra BAHT to be met at the airport and transported to the resort in style and with great care. This made the trip stress free and was a pleasure feeling extra special from the Railay Village Staff that took care of us the entire way. The Villas are the only place to stay i... Read more

Wow this hotel is fantastic. The sand from the beach literally comes right up to the reception area and the beach is like something from a movie. The food was great and fastastic prices. The rooms were lovely and the whole resort had a romantic relaxing feel. The swimming pools were lovely as was the on site spa. Lovely hotel in a lovely part of krabi. Staff are also brilliant and very attentive.

The reception lady didn't understand a word in English. We simply handed her our passports in order to get our prereserved rooms. We tried to find out about day trip for the next day, and again- the best she could offer us was to be in the reception next morning at 09:00 since she didn't understand what we wanted from her. Obviously we didn't take her advice and went to a nearby agency to buy the trip (which began next morning at 08:00...). Room- We've received a room which was not maintaine... Read more

My husband and I spent 10 nights here and we couldn't want for anything more! The resort is literally on the beach - the staff were wonderful (especially Abdulla and the kind lady who treated my jellyfish sting in reception!) There are plenty of ambient chilled and relaxing restaurants to choose from on the west side - or if you are after alcoholic drinks and a more lively atmosphere it's a 5 minute stroll to the lively East side! We had a ground floor villa infront of the swimming pool. The r... Read more

Our room had a few thirsty mosquitoes which gave us a lot of grief. The resort provided insect repellent but was ineffective against the pests. Worse still, a huge cockroach came scurrying out from the bathroom late in the night. We certainly felt like the room wasn't clean. The shower area was disgustingly full of dirt and grime. Breakfast was free but it was barely edible. Would not stay there again!

Beautiful spot. Perfect Area to rest and chill. Green everywhere, beautiful beach which is gorgeous early in the morning or end of afternoon. Enough places around to eat really good and for all budgets.(hotels restaurants, and small restaurant very near). The cottage we had offered spacious living area with a very cute exterior and very private. the hotel staff answered perfectly regarding any service matters or demands. I recommend 100% and will go back for sure. Mike Vincent

We stayed for 3 nights in an upper poolside room. We were very happy with the room. Beds were comfortable, lovely balcony to sit out on. The pool is really lovely. The resort itself could do with a few bits being tidied up, particularly the walk from the pier down the alley to the resort. (Not the best welcome to such a fabulous place) The breakfast was decent. We didn't eat in the restaurant (the resort doesn't serve alcohol at all.) The resort is right on the lovely stretch of beach which is a... Read more

The privacy room was great. Ambience is amazing. Inside your "front yard" you walk over a little bridge to get to your cottage. It is totally private. The outdoor shower was amazing, but the outdoor bathtub was gross and full of dirt. No way I would take a bath in there. There were the inevitable bugs, but if you jack up the aircon enough, they stay away. Breakfast is decent but repetitive. The restaurant totally sucks and is overpriced otherwise. I recently stayed for 3 nights at this hotel with my husband and booked a room with a private jacuzzi for around SGD 190 per night. Overall it was a pleasant stay, but at that price, I did not think it was worth the money. Let me explain why: 1) The DVD player in the room was broken. We called to get it fixed. The repair guy came into the room, tested it and instead of replacing it, he switched it with the DVD player from the jacuzzi room! This meant that we had to switch the DVD player ourselv... The hotel has a great spot, near the path to the otherside of raillay and close to the street. Having the pools set back seemed beneficial as the other resorts seemed to struggled from the wind at some parts of the day. The resort was very clean and tidy. I stayed at the Railay Village Resort for 3 nights in November 2016. The hotel is pretty new and facilities amazing. If you are looking for a great place to relax, this is a good option. I only recommend they give English classes to their staff in the front desk asap. The best waiter is Sarayut. During all the time spent in Thailand he was by far THE BEST person we met. Very attentive to the guests and providing excellent service. He should be hotel manager!

So we arrived to Railay Village for our honeymoon. We must say that arriving in long tail boat is not easy, especially when you arrive after sunset. how ever - we were greeted fairly, got a splendid and beautiful room and got great treatment.
