The hotel is very located and has very spacious rooms. The Bar in the Garden is very good. The only problem was AC in the room and smell in toilet. But the AC issue was resolved quickly. Booked Four Island tour from the hotel the trainee siting on the desk was rude.

Just arrived today. We had a family suite on L4. Room is very spacious with bunk beds, a king sized bed and you can even request for extra roll away bed if you have 3 or more kids. There is a big sitting area and both the balcony and toilet are big too. From our room, we can see both the pool as well as the beach. Front desk and Tour desk staff are not very friendly. Very superficial smile and not very keen on helping if you do not approach them 1st. Have yet to try the rest of their services b... Read more

Nice hotel especially for families with kids. Nice breakfast too but staff needs to be more attentive towards the end of breakfast. Even if they see that people are taking the last minute things they seem to not bother and start picking things up or even I noticed they would start eating off the line while picking up breakfast. Never saw that in any hotel in my life but I guess they allow it here. Rest everything was nice. Tour prices are quiet high, best is to walk out the hotel on the right ha... Read more

Staying at Holiday Inn Krabi Resort was the nicest thing about our trip. It was our home for two nights offering us nothing but pleasant vacation. It was the perfect base to enjoy Krabi. The resort itself is very good, the pool is big and you can spend the day relaxing by it. The location is good but it is not on the beach, you need to cross the street to get to the beach. The beach close beach close by is not so good comparing to the other ones I went in Thailand.

We had a great stay at this lovely hotel, loved the pools and especially the kids club. It's excellent - great staff, lots of fun for the kids and it's open all day long. It's complimentary! Our kids loved it! While they were playing in the club, we enjoyed occasionally happy hour in the pool. I would recommend rooms in the newer part of the hotel. Just outside of the hotel you can take a long tail boat and explore the islands. Great band playing live music in the evenings, they do wonderful j... Read more

I've just checked out from this hotel few days ago and my god how nice the staffs here are! The room is nothing special for me but the staffs are definitely made the stay warm and welcome plus being recognized as a IHG Reward member make me feel very valued. Although the pillow I've got have a big stain on them so I didn't use it. The pool is nice but very noisy from the kids playing but overall I really am enjoyed this hotel.

Was given a free upgrade to premier twins with pool views. Room was big and clean. However, 2 sliding doors to the bathroom was old and heavy, would b a bit of a problem for young children and elder person. Variety for buffet breakfast was adequate. Greatest Plus point is the swimming pool where you can idle ur day away in Krabi. Staffs were polite and service were good.

We took a garden view room , but it is better to get a pool view or pool side room, as it would more pleasent and fun . I dint like the breakfast atall , there is variety but nothing is worth atall to eat except eggs muffins tea coffee.. All over rooms location pool fitneas spa ar OK ROOM SERVICE BREAKFAST VERY BAD

Having not travelled to Krabi before, deciding where to stay was a little difficult. However I decided to stay with Holiday Inn resorts as I knew from Phuket that the setup is generally quite good and catered to both families and singles. 35-40 mins by transport from the airport and an easy ride and not winding like Phuket, close to 25 Km. Rides can set you back 600THB for a van if you can get a decent price. Holiday Inn is based on the nice side of Ao Nang and has a fantastic and uncommercial... Read more

Hotel location is at the quieter end of Ao-Nang, about 15 mins stroll to the main street shopping area. But it makes up with the convenience of a small food enclave just beside the hotel main entrance. Hotel grounds are fantastic! Especially if you are travelling with kids. At check-in, we were given a cold drink and towel to freshen ourselves. Such a treat since it was a typical hot day in tropical Krabi. Reception staff warm and friendly. One of them brought us to our room and introduced the resort facilities as well as the room amenities. The room itself (Garden View King) was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. Where do I start from ? We had asked for an airport pick up .We thought it would be a normal car that would pick us up . However it was a mini van , with the most comfortable seats for the both of us . The second we got out of the lane onto Ao nang beach area we were mesmerised by the beauty of the various islands . Holiday inn is directly opposite to ao nang beach , although you cannot do many activities here . The service was incredible . We were given a pool Access room As an IHG member we w... Read more

i would absolutely recommend this resort if travelling to Aonang. The resort staff created a truly exceptional stay. We do not have a bad word to say about any of the staff from the manager Morgan who was always open and warm through to fire-twirling Pia with whom our children developed a close bond. All of the staff were truly warm and friendly. We experienced personalised service throughout our stay. Krabi is really beautiful and the hotel is built in traditional style which is nice. However, inside the rooms it is very modern and contemporary. I had a view of the beach from my balcony and since I was traveling on my own I spent a lot of time in that balcony doing nothing. This is a resort and the staff is super attentive, will organize transport, etc. The grounds are also well kept and while I did not use the pools they look superb. Great value too!

We held our wedding here and it was beautifully coordinated. We had 100ish guests staying at the hotel. From accommodation, to wedding planning, reception and party, holiday inn did a great job! Well done Kate (event sales), Oscar (event operations), Pia (front desk), Jiraporn (reservations), B (executive head Chef) and Morgan. Your team has done a fantastic job coordinating our wedding. Although the location of this resort were good, restaurant & spa within walking distance, but this resort need to renovate, it's smell moldy in the room. I stayed 3 nights during september on the top floor, the beach across was totally blocked by the restaurant in front, defeated the purpose of paying higher without sea view. And the beached across were polluted, we engaged a private tour to bring us to another beach for the wave. The block we assigned were very inconvenient, there's no lift to ... Read more

We had an excellent stay, just too short! Rooms are well appointed & comfortable. Staff were excellent. Kids club facilities and activities were great. Pool & slides are fantastic. Buffet dinner & breakfast were delicious too. We can't thank the Manager enough for his kind gift of a fruit basket for one of our party who was unwell during our stay. We will be back as soon as possible.

This is NOT a bad property, but we should have thoroughly researched more reviews before booking. Had we done so, we would not have booked a non-refundable reservation. This property is a family & group tour focused hotel. Period. If you want a quiet, relaxing, laid-back experience, this is not your hotel. The hotel does promote their family & child-focused routine online, but we did not anticipate it being so totally focused in that market. Our mistake, not the hotel. The hotel mentions "kid z... I stayed with my daughter in a nice pool-view room with awesome sea views on the top floor, room size was great and room very comfortable. Loved the daily breakfast spread! The best part of the hotel though is their staff. I have stayed in many hotels around the world, but never have I encountered friendlier, happier and more helpful staff than at this resort. The breakfast area is tight with too many people and isolated locations of food counters which is problematic because you have to move in between crowded tables to get to one place and another searching for what you want. Our interconnecting rooms were sea facing having large balconies - great view.
