We spent few days in villa with private pool. Our villa was quite private and well surrounded with thick greenery. Villa was spacious, clean and room service impecable. Staff is very friendly and helpful and will try their best to accomodate your request. Restaurant is good, with excellent breakfast and good selection of various dishes to help you throughout the day. Hotel his it's own beach and ifinity pool with the bar. Hotel is walking distance from downtown and the main fun spots. The only a... Read more

After reading all the reviews on trip advisor, I had a high hope for this hotel, but I think this hotel is at best a 4-star hotel, the hotel on its own is small, with small pool, lobby and restaurants. The hotel room despite already staying in the pool villa suite, is small and badly maintained, water keep dripping on one desk which almost hit my laptop. Before arrival, I constantly requested for a pool villa facing the ocean side, and the manager has said she would put in a request, but upon a... Read more

We moved to the Sareeraya hotel after spending 3 nights at the Muang Samui, where we had a very nice time. The Sareeraya hotel is more modern than Muang Samui; the facilities are quite nice, and the level of service is very good. However, our rooms were in the main building, and the building itself is literally on the main street. The noise level is totally UNACCEPTABLE!!! I asked to move to a room/suite/villa not in the main building (i.e., farther away from the street and closer to t... Read more

My husband and I were married here in February and all I can say is WOW. It was everything we wanted and more, parichat was amazing in organising everything to fit how we wanted, we had a small wedding on the beach and it looked amazing. There were guards either side of the beach so that people could not walk past whilst the ceremony was taking place, after researching other venues this is definitely the place you want to get married as after hearing some horror stories I was worried someone wou... The reason I have not given this 5 stars is that we booked a room with a Jacuzzi, on the first night, we were woken up by loud screams (people coming back from the moon party) and constant loud traffic. In the morning I spoke to the manager who said that all rooms with a Jacuzzi back onto the main road. I asked if there were any other rooms. He advised that we could stay in a Villa but would have to pay an extra ÂŁ80 per night. I did not want to stay in the Villa (as it was smaller) and definit... Read more

Great location close to everything within walking distance. The breakfast is great .. Will be booking for our return next year. It has become a home away from home.

Sareeraya has unrivaled beauty & luxury on Chaweng beach. This Oriental Chic Tropical Luxury Resort is set on the nicest slice of Chaweng sand. Although surround by several hotels and restaurants, Sareeraya is an oasis in its own boutique world. The staff is always attentive. The pool is perfectly positioned and never over crowded. Our honeymoon villa was quiet and secluded. The private plunge pool was well kept and perfect when we wanted the privacy of a couples dive. Danny Chua, General Manage... Read more

The staff are very friendly and the manager Danny makes you feel as if you have know him your whole life without being invasive: amazingly helpful and very knowledgeable. My husband and I got married at Sareeraya in April this year, and honestly could not recommend it enough. Parichat was amazing, and kept in contact via email throughout the year leading up to the wedding. Sometimes the email responses would take a little long to come back, however I am sure that was to do with the amount of weddings she was planning! The hotel itself is truly amazing. We had a very nice stay here for our honeymoon. The hotel and room were exquisite. Very comfortable beds and a beautiful bathroom. Pool access room is well worth it. Rooms had everything you could need. Breakfast is phenomenal and the restaurant, although quite expensive for Thailand is really excellent. We loved the attention to detail, both in our suite and on the hotel grounds. Staff were so friendly, helpful, considerate and honest. We found Danny, the GM to be so warm and knowledgeable. We had a great 7 day stay at Sareeraya. It is a good quality boutique resort that lived up to a 5 star rating. At the quiet end of Chaweng Beach, it has an amazing pool and fantastic views from the room. Its also within easy walking distance of all the action and has plenty of eating options close by. Our favourite was Your Place, a beach bar / restaurant about 50 metres down the beach. We ate there nearly every day! Very cool vibe that matched the location and relaxed feel of our holiday. We were fortunate to patronize this beautiful hotel when it opened several years ago... The public areas, suites, and gardens are phenomenal. This year's visit had us staying with friends in the Lamai area. One evening, Wednesday, July 6, we decided to do a "Chaweng Evening"- having a fab supper at Giulietta e Romeo (one block away from the Sareeraya) and thought it to be a nice idea to do cocktails at Sareeraya. This hotel management realized one of the nicest experiences we ever had in all our Far East destinations and to its high standards we measured all the other hotels. We took a villa with a pool. the pool was small but came in handy on this hot humid days. there is something special about having your own private pool. the villas are build with privacy in mind and the outdoor shower (additionally to the indoor shower and bath) was great. the room needed some improvement. the staff and service was outstanding. pool is nice beach is not that clean!
