I stayed a total of 5 nights with Le Meridien Koh Samui, overall it was a great experience. The rooms are well decorated and a good size, the beds are very comfortable, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and the restaurant has quite nice food. I stayed in a few different room types while there, the best was a private pool suite, however the others were still quite nice. The location is a little bit out of town, so if you're planning on doing things around Koh Samui you will need to ... Read more

Stayed 3 nights with my wife and 2 kids. Loved the resort. Staff is very friendly. A little far from Lamai beach but taxis are easily available. Stayed in the Pool Access villa and we loved it. Would definitely recommend this place

We stayed for four days in one of the pool villas and had a great time. The resort is beautifully designed. The overall design theme is Chinese influenced and hence pretty unique for Koh Samui. The resort is medium sized and you do not feel it is overrun like a lot of other of the big five star places around. The pool and public areas are nice. The breakfast is average for a 5 star hotel and the food in the restaurant is generally good, but nothing special. The service is great and extreme... Read more

My fiancé and I stayed at Le Meriden Koh Samui for 4 nights. Our room was beautiful. A sea view pool villa. This, along with the Spa was the only 5 star experience. The food was awful. Especially the breakfast buffet which was infested with flies. The mini bar and in house dining was wildly over priced too. The staff were lovely but lacked the discrete attention that you receive in 5 star resort like The Four Seasons or Six Senses. The hotel was a 20 minute drive into the centre, which smelt of... My husband and I booked our honeymoon at the Le Meridien in Koh Samui. We wanted something in a more secluded area away from the main crowd of tourists. Our experience at the Le Meridien was truly five star. We scheduled our trip for May and arrived at the Le Meridien on Sunday May 15th HOT and tired after about 24 hours of travel from Los Angeles to Thailand. The entrance from the road is very unassuming. We walked in not quite sure what to expect. We were immediately greeted by an attendant wh... Read more

The rooms here have been given the ancient and royal look. They have all modern amenities. Our washroom was kinda outdoors, so despite the various efforts to fight off mosquitos, I was anyway bothered by some at night. They location is quite close to Lamai centre, shopping and eateries, but it's kind of a boring place as compared to Chaweang Beach road. The staff was really friendly and they also do a beautiful light celebration every evening at 7:19pm. I liked the look and feel of the rooms, b... Read more

Stayed here 2 nights in the Verandah suite and it was lovely. Room furnishings are very resort/balinese type of style. It was very big - we were given 2 wash basins, 1 bath tub and 1 standing shower. Water pressure was great and water was constantly hot. Bed was extremely comfortable and we found it difficult to get up in the morning. Breakfast was a good variety and we were impressed with the quality of the food served. Staff were very courteous throughout our stay. There was a tiny hiccup on... Read more

Although I have spent eight days on my own in this beautiful place I've never felt to lonely. The hotel team and I mean each of them ,where just wonderful. It almost seemed they could read my mind and make my wishes come true. The food was so delicios, tasty and there was no reason to eat out. The breakfast was plentyfull and appealing . Every evening they set up a unique farewell of the day celebration at the open lobby . There where always enough chairs at the pool and the beach and the po... Read more

Stayed here for three nights in two rooms/suites/villas. Ocean front villas are brilliant. Pictures on the website are accurate. Very private, private pool, large and right on the beach. Highly recommend. Staff are also brilliant. Friendly, very helpful and engaging. They appear to love working there. Can't say enough great things about the place. Room rate included pick up from airport and return. About a 30 minute commute. Roadside restaurants are great and cheap ($10 USD for 4 pe... Read more

very beautiful relaxing ressort, with a highly motivated and service oriented team. to react on a few points which were critically discussed here: I regard the fact that it is not located directly in the center of lamai beach an advantage....breakfast was Ok (4 points) but should extend to 11:00

We stayed for 5 nights in a beach pool villa and absolutely loved it. Our villa was amazing, couldn't fault anything. The staff were fantastic and made every effort to ensure our anniversary was spent in style. The food in the restaurant was up there with the best food we have eaten. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, we will be sad to leave.

We love this hotel. We arrived early and they allow us to check in early. We are greeted with a delicious welcoming drink and cold towel. The luggage safe all ready in the room when they bring us to the room. Staff is very friendly and tries to explain the facilities at the hotel. Room is amazing - comfy bed, wood Thai decor but never too old. The balcony gives us a perfect place to chill, read and chat with maximum privacy. We love everything in the room. My first visited to Samui and Le Meridien had it all! The staffs were friendly and very attentive, they could recognize my name and my preferred type of coffee even I stayed there for 2 nights. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Will definitely come back again. Tips: They have very good deal for happy hour and 19.19 ritual is just simply amazing

Happening even during the low season. Service at this hotel is excellent. The management are obviously well trained. We had ordered pancake and the trainee had forgotten to send the order in. After waiting for some time we called to check on it. The management was very apologetic and went above and beyond to rectify the situation. She even waited for us when we were checking out to make sure everything was taken care of and told us of how she plans on improving the training of the trainees in th... Read more

I refuse to give this hotel any more money with their service when we can go to the many local restaurants next door for far less money and better experiences. They did not give us the right drinks, meals ordered or let us know about the wine party nights.

This hotel was amazing, a little piece of paradise. Having been to Thailand multiple times, where I always stayed at 5* hotels, I can honestly say the staff at Le Meridien have no rivals, there friendly, thoughtful and conscientious service is second to none. I am not a massive beach person, so the poor quality of the beach was not an issue for me and the pool had the most beautiful view of the ocean and neighbouring islands, that it was a little slice of paradise. The restaurant was great and ... Read more

Just got back from a trip there with our 14 month old (baby-specific tips provided below). We stayed 5 days initially in the plunge pool room then in the pavillion pool villa. General thoughts: the resort is very small compared to most other beach resorts we have been to, but apparently it is common in Koh Samui for most resorts to be quite small. It is located just off the main road and there is nothing to walk out to or see so you're mostly stuck in the resort unless you take the shuttle out... Read more

Family trip - celebrating a couple of graduations, 7 people, 6 nights. The graduates were welcomed by balloons, signs, and a handwritten card from the staff! Overall the service was excellent - everyone greets you with a smile and is prompt and professional. There are major pros and cons with this resort. First off...the cons BEACH- there is one but it's not one you can sit or swim in. I would say it's the worst beach and ocean I've ever been to. The water is ankle deep, gross sand, crush coral and filth all over the place. PRICES- my god. Are you kidding me??? 476 baht for 2 beers. That's 14$! My whole trip in Thailand I never seen beers for more than 2$. Cocktail prices are 9-10$. Let's not even talk about food. For a hotel like this to charge su... Read more

We were two couples and stayed here for 3 nights at garden view plunge pool villa. Overall my stay was quite satisfactory with amazing and helpful staffs. The resort maintains a very nice ambience, with right amount of illuminations and medieval architecture. Rooms are cosy with cosy bed with a small patio like sitting area when you enter and adjoining to the bedroom, which helps to keep the room clean. The rooms have some weird lock technology which took me a while to understand. The plunge poo... Read more

Le Meridien Koh Samui provided the best service I've come to expect from the hotel chain. The property is immaculate, the rooms/suites are incredible and the service is second to none-truly amazing property overall. Great restaurant, spa, pool area, etc. The stretch of beach at this location is not for everyone, you cannot swim in this beach. Overall, we loved the location and the property but if you are looking for a true beach experience you may want to look elsewhere.

Great place to stay, especially if you can get a private or semi-private pool. The bathrooms are lovely with massive soaking tubs and rainfall type showers. The pool is amazing to relax in, and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is always around to help with whatever you need, and the views of the ocean are incredible. Highly recommend!

Was staying at the hotel for three nights for a wedding party. We booked the rooms surrounding the pool , so all my friends shared the same pool which was just a few steps from the room door. The room size was decent, could be a bit bigger... location was great. Approx 15 mins from the hotel to local restaurants / beach/ local massage places. Efficient collection from airport, staff waiting with minibus, quick check in process. Be aware, lots of steps around, some quite steep and not always hand rails. Pool room (shared with 6 others) was nice, very clean, comfortable beds. Mini bar in room was expensive. It's a beautiful and clean hotel, stuff are friendly and helpful. Room is smaller than we imagined. Big balcony with sofa could extend your living area if you don't mind to share some blood with mosquitos. Enjoyed the open shower a lot, the outside toilet not so much, imagine in a hot afternoon sitting there for 10 minutes...... Hotel also offers bike for rent. They will arrange everything for you. This is a good resort for family stay in Samui. Nice and responsible hotel staff made us happy. The room is spacious and the open bathroom is new to us. The main swimming pool is not big but considering the number of rooms shared that is sufficient. There are another type of rooms which has a more private pool.
