This was our first week of a four part stay in Thailand. We couldn't fault the hotel or staff - simply beach front paradise! We stayed in deluxe garden view bungalow and it was perfect, we enjoyed the deck most early evenings. Breakfast had plenty of choice and swim up pool bar was a bonus! We didn't eat in the hotel yes it is more expensive than eating or drinking in the village but that's what you would expect for any hotel! Highly recommend Knockout Bar and Blue Lagoon in the village to eat... Read more

Phi Phi Don is an island with no roads-to get to your hotel requires a longtail boat ride if you are not staying near Tonsai Pier (where the ferries come in). Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort is about 40 minutes by boat from the pier-for 200 baht per person, a boat will greet you at the pier and take you to the hotel (previously arranged with the hotel). The appeal of this hotel was the quaint-looking bungalows. Upon arrival, our bungalow seemed quite dated, a little dirty, and very poorly li... Read more

From the arrival (by boat), check in process, breakfast, dinner, everything was really good not to say perfect. Stayed in a bungalow (deluxe garden?) in the far back of the resort, on a 3mn pleasant walk to the front desk, but still no problem with that. Hotel facilities were very good, clean and quite. Beach was also quite (not crowded) and clean.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was bliss from the moment the hotel transferred us by long tail to the resort. The tide was out so a tractor came to get us and we we're met with cool flannels and a drink. The breakfast had so much choice or cooked breakfast, fruit, fresh pastries (the chocolate croissant's are to die for), there are three options for dinner. As other reviewers have mentioned the water in your room is slightly salty but that is just the island and it's not too much of a bother... Read more

It took a while for me to write this review as I have mixed feelings about my stay at Phi Phi Island Village. First of all, we emailed the hotel about a transfer from Krabi Airport as we knew that the hotel was only reached by boat. After a van, public ferry and long tail we got to the place, and discovered that they overpriced the transfer. They welcomed us with fresh towels and a delicious drink and took us to our villa with private pool, which was amazing. This was the best and I think only g... Read more

The location of the hotel is great and the interior of the rooms (bungalows) is pretty good. On the other hand, the food is not good at all, especially for non-assians. They have other options on the menu but they taste really bad. We tried noodles and got sick, probably because of the oil used that we are not accustomed to. Then we tried familiar stuff, pizza and hamburger, but they did not taste good at all... Another issue is the flies and the all sort of bugs. Yes, it is in the nature and ... Read more

Amazing private beach, far from the tourist area in Tonsay Bay. Very quiet and relaxing location. The food options are very good, the Coconut Restaurant serves amazing dinners and the back terrace location is superb. The massage Spa is great, staff in the spa offer a great client service and are very friendly. Staff at reception and main restaurant were not 100% friendly and the service was a little bit impersonal. Note that the resort is not connected to the main pier by land, you need to rent ... When you are in the midst of blue waters, travelling on a long tail boat, passing by the shore of a forested island, you can't imagine anything could be better. Until you reach this Resort. Excellent ...right from arrival to departure. It's spread across a sprawling expanse. The cottages are nice placed and the rooms are really cozy. During our visit the sea would push way back during low tide, so it's a long walk to the waters. The pool is another great place. Their food is also well made and d... Read more

The sole purpose of our four night trip was to complete the PaDI Open Water Certification. Weather conditions were tough and the visibility wasn't great but we managed to complete it :). Honuma is an excellent instructor. Hospitality - The staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Nice resort right on the beach on phi phi don. Probably a bit bigger than I'd prefer to stay at usually as so many guests even in low season - not sure I'd like to be here in high season. One of the pools are currently being renovated so give 2000 baht to spend to make up for this. As someone else mentioned be careful how you use it, we used for the early bird trip which if there are more than 6 people should be 2200 baht per person - our trip had 18 people but we were still charged 2700 baht ... Rooms were spotless, beautiful and very comfortable. They keep the grounds very well also but need to work a little harder on the beach area. Great location, friendly staff, would've just loved some more reasonable prices so we could've enjoyed the infinity pool or swim-up bar. We just ended up going to the village instead. But! Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort is as advertised; two very nice pools, well-maintained and staffed with good personnel. The beach and rooms are also good, as is the restaurant. In addition, in the back of hotel is a nice local village with bars and restaurants.

An excellent hotel at Phi Phi, maybe the best IĀ“ve seen there. The beach is beautiful, the pool is wonderful but it stays a little isolated from the rest of the Island. Although this, boats are necessary to make all the tours in Phi Phi, so itĀ“s not a real problem at all.

We stayed in a hillside pool villa and it was amazing. The staff were fabulous and the meals were nice and extremely generous. In particular the room service breakfast was fabulous. We walked across the bridge at the rear of the resort and had a massage from some of the locals which was really good. We spent a lot of time in the pools and at the pool bar. We had our 2 teenage daughters and they enjoyed the experience also.

We stayed here as a couple in March earlier this year. It was everything I hoped for plus more. The standard hut accommodation is perfect and simple. Although they aren't equipped with a bath (shower only) the place is so beautiful I forgot how much I thought I'd need a bath, the shower is totally sufficient! In the 6 nights we stayed here I don't think I ever believed my eyes whilst sitting on the beach. It's simply unbelievably beautiful. Never have I stayed in a hotel with such breathtaking s... Such a beautiful place and you will be sure not to want to leave. Stay in the newer villas... They are much nicer... The pools close strangely early, but your on a beach so it's not a real problem. Do not use the hotel to book trips as the price is much higher than you get from the guys in the village behind the resort - go to Mote in the village as he is amazing. There are also great restaurants in the village behind the resort where you can eat three great meals for the price of one at the Res... Read more

Fantastic Resort - this resort is fabulous! We caught their resort boast who organised a transfer from our other hotel at Patong. It has 2 great pools and 3 restaurants and a village right behind the resort as well for a little walk. You can even walk to the other side of the island easily. We also went on a snorkling tour arranged by the resort. we stayed here with our teenage children who had their own cabana across from ours. I wished we stayed longer than our 4 days!

We stayed here for 4 nights in a hillside pool villa - and would 100% recommend everyone did! It was the most beautiful and amazing place either of us have ever stayed. The staff are so lovely, friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. We had Thai massages on the beach which was an unforgettable experience. There is a little village at the back of the hotel which is great for local food. The restaurant staff can be slightly slow at times... But we got our food in the end and being on ... Read more

Reviews here are accurate: great for couples, iffy for single folks. Phi phi pier area is a party town, dirtier, but the resort is located 20 min away by long tail boat. A MUST is to go to the village behind the resort by the tennis court. We thought it would be too far for first night, so ate at resort. The village was actually closer to our villa than the hotel restaurant was. Better food, 1/2 the price, and awesome atmosphere. Cool little village with ~10 restaurants/bars and lots of che... Arrived to the resort after one night at ton sai bay during the storm and rain, we thought it's not good time for visiting Thailand but the next 4 days were perfect sunny days. Check in was smooth, all group were seated, given towels, welcome drink and registered, due to construction/refurbishment works of and villas compensation in the amount of 5000thb was given. Thanks! The rest of the holidays were great. Breakfasts are nice and you can choose from to eat.

Stayed here for 3 nights in August. As we approached by long tail from Tonsai we were blown away with how amazing the resort looked with its white sand beach, palm trees and clear blue sea! On arrival we were greeted with a cold flannel, coconut cocktail and biscuit and taken to our bungalow by golf buggy. We stayed in the most basic room but this was still really nice and clean! We were disappointed to find out there was construction work going on by the pool and the beach as we weren't aware o... Read more

We just spent our honeymoon week at this beautiful resort. The location is stunning, the beach is very private with white sand and very clear water. On arrival we got to enjoy a welcome cocktail, a free upgrade to a deluxe bungalow and vouchers to spend in the resort just because of currently ongoing renovation work at one part of the resort, which we already knew about. Our bungalow was amazing, they even decorated our bed with a 'happy honeymoon' sign made out of flowers! The swimming pools, g... Read more

Rooms were very clean. we stayed at the 2 bedroom bungalow and the rooms were extremely comfortable. Staffs were excellent, very polite and service oriented. Being vegetarian we had a separate menu for vegetarians in the restaurants. But the Marlin restaurant should have more choices for vegetarians in the menu. The outlet manager should have more knowledge to handle when it come to requests from the vegetarian diners to offer substitutes. We really enjoyed the stay at the resort.

Relax, relax and recharge the batteries. Yes it does take a while to get to but is worth it. The resort is beautifully set out. Our bure was a newer one and was really nice with connecting rooms for our kids. There was a good choice at the restaurant in a lovely setting and the Thai restaurant on the hill is worth a visit. Snorkeling day trips are good and my daughter got into scuba thanks to "beer" the scuba instructor. She loved it and ended up doing 2 dives! Friendly staff. Would go back anot... Read more

Room 501 it was amazing 2 levels 2 showers swinging chair and awesome infinity pool overlooking the pool area and the amazing view of the beach and ocean. Stayed her for two nights and overall I am sad we did not stay for longer. Place is fab. Plenty of people around in low season. There is construction works but didn't bother us in the slightest. We stayed towards the back of the resort which was a little bit of a hike to the pool etc but they have golf buggies which are available at your beck and call so it's no problem really. This place is total paradise! Perfect for a romantic holiday, holiday with friends or family holiday. The staff were absolutely amazing & couldn't be more helpful. The only down fall was that my husband is hard of walking far distances & any one who has a disability may find it difficult getting to & from the resort as you have to climb in & out of long tail boats. Secluded from the craziness of phi phi, this is the best spot. We had a beach front junior suite right next to the pool. 3 great restaurants and no extra charge for room service! While you can expect to pay resort prices for drinks and food, it's so worth it to be away from the hustle and bustle. They truly cater to everything you need. We - family of 3 - stayed 9 nights. Efficiently run operation where everything just works. We had most our food at the Marlin restaurant, which is also used for general breakfast. Breakfast was very varied - I don't think we managed to taste everything. Friendly nice staff. I have stayed there for two days. The foods are good but not perfect. Be careful not to reserve deluxe sea view rooms because you can have sea view 2 meters from a large distance. You can reserve rooms in the back, it will not be a problem. As overall, the hotel is very nice but not perfect according to my checklist.

After spending 4 nights in Phuket, my party and I were pleasantly surprised to spend the remainder of our time at Phi Phi Island Village. Phuket can be a little crazy and a lil dirty so we truly enjoyed the slower, more relaxed pace at this location. Besides a few excursions, we spent most of our time at the pool and ate and drank at the cute little village only a few feet away. You will find at least 10 restaurants, massage places, and a few bars (buffalo head has the best liquor selection). An... Read more

If your looking for excursions, and being amongst the nightlife then maybe this is not place for you, but if your looking for a relaxing break in paradise look no further

The location and the set up of this resort deserves 5 stars, it is incredible. From the moment we pulled up in the resort speed boat the views were breath taking. Loved how it was all thatched roofed huts and open aired eating spaces.
