The price for this hotel was not high and expected to get just a normal place to spend time... But it is nice! The boat waited just two of us on the pier. On time! Check in was very fast, what was very important after the flight... Bungalow was well prepared, clean and cosy... Tea and coffee were inside for free. The BEACH! Perfect! lovely and almost empty! And only few steps from the bungalow! Sun beds are in the shadows of the pine trees... Smells so good! The beach is long and clean. Som... Read more

It is a fine hotel, the room are nice but filled with bugs and fly. The location is great because it is on the beach itself and right on the begining of the walking path to phi phi town (30 min). The rooms are very basic, the restaurant is fine and prices are OK and they even have minimarket. but in total the price is way too high for what you get.

I've got a lot to say about this place but for those looking for a quick referral here it is: All in all I'd say I only recommend this hotel if you're ok to sacrifice a lot of creature comforts to stay on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. This place has a great location right on long beach. It is definitely rustic but for the price and location (literally on the beach) you can't beat it really. It is literally a hike through the jungle and a couple other beaches to get to town. I... Read more

Staying here for 3d2n, dined here twice. 2 dining experiences, had enough. 1) Went for dinner and asked if could dine right in front of the restaurant at the open air area (10 meters away from indoor). Waitress responded, 'No.' Asked again, 'Why?' Replied 'No no no!' rudely and we got ignored then. 2) Went for breakfast, at the egg station, a man with very unfriendly look was cooking. Ordered fried eggs. No response. Later came back and asked if fried eggs were ready, he looked up and indicate... Read more

First want to say we googled and searched for a place to stay on phi phi and were really not sure of the island layout or what it meant to "be by long beach" or "close to tonsai pier" so we chose Paradise Pearl based on the loom of the room. Loved the dark wood carving in the Thai House and the canopy bed. We loved the onsite restaurant that was beach front and convenient. We decided to pay for the Thai House (not beach front) because yes, while perhaps more expensive than other of the island re... Read more

The balcony floor broken with 1 big hole 4. 21 inch TV (computer monitor) 5. Shower water flow is very small / weak Pro & Con - Hotel & Restaurant 1. The scenery is very beautiful 2. Reception staff is not friendly / rude 3. The hotel have a mini market with a reasonable price on a island (little bit higher from 7-11 store) 4. Pork free restaurant and the food ... Read more

Overall we enjoyed our stay at paradise Pearl. The food is decent, we had breakfast and dinner and both were fine. The mini-mart is great and sells everything you could ever want or need. We splurged for a beach front bungalow. It was great and right on the beach. Weather wasn't great for our stay. It rained the whole first and last day we were there. Our biggest problem was the long tail boats weren't running. You have to scale up and down a very steep hill/cliff each time you want to go to/fro... Read more

My first trip to Thailand was in 2013. I stayed in Koh Phi Phi at Toh Koh Resort (Great place!). I remember I went to Long Beach, where Paradise Pearl is located and I thought to myself, "I'm staying HERE next time!" Well, I did. I don't have the energy to waste on these people and it trickles down from the owners. The customer service was so bad, I said something and one employee said to me - that's okay we're only a 3 star resort anyway!! Yes, I swear he said this! Never again!

Stayed 3 day in June 16 Beautiful beach. We upgraded to a beachfront bungalow for 800Bt extra per day, quite the nice change from Phuket , clean air, we hiked the jungle to the pier it takes about 20 to 30 minutes each way, ok free breakfast, restaurant is pretty reasonable for lunch and dinner, beer/ drink prices are ok Staff was ok, Traditional Thai massages at the resort well worth it only 300 baht / hour!

This was our favorite place in Thailand. The resort is far from all the chaos in phi phi. Only way to get there is by long tail boat which the hotel provides. Staff waits for you at the pier. It is a small trek up and then down a hill so if you have knee problems this may be am issue. Once there the place was beautiful. We got a beach front bungalow and that's the only way to go if you're going to stay there. Beach is beautiful and clean. Lots of beach chairs up front. Staff was so so. No... Read more

I am so torn about this place because it is so beautiful here!. Currently staying here and debating whether to hi-tail to another resort. We arrived yesterday from ferry to Ko Phi Phi and paid 3600 baht for 2 adults 2 children return ticket. WE didn't realize that we should have waited for the Paradise pearl long boat driver and spent another 500 baht for that ride. We had to switch boats to the hotel boat half way through the ride when we figured out we screwed up. Oh well, live and learn. So h... Read more

This was such a beautiful place! We upgraded our room to one with a sliding door to ensure the mosquitos were kept out, but this was a nominal price. We had read a few reviews that the service at the restaurant was not good, but we quickly realized this was not the case. We had to ask when we needed things, simply because in thai custom, they are respecting your privacy and space while dining. The food was great, the service was great, and the location can't be matched. The massages were also re... Read more

Very cute bungalows located on long Beach. The location makes this place as everything is on or very near the beach. Rooms are nice, could be better linens but not a bother for me. Wifi was surprisingly good. TV had variety of channels. Bed average but no complaints. Shower was good with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good. You have several choices. And it's on the beach. Make sure you book a long tail boat to take you from tonsai pier to hotel before you arrive.

The hotel is okay but on the nicest beach on the island. The rooms are large and clean, older furnishings. The AC leaked quite a bit but did work very well. They have an amazing breakfast in the morning, you should eat there. You cannot always get a long tail boat back-and-forth from the center of town, especially during high tide. It is a 30 minute walk from this hotel to the town. The trail is lit but can be challenging at night. I wish they would clean up the area around the trail. We rea... Read more

What a fantastic spot! Beautiful beach. Good prices. Opened the bungalow door to an amazing view of the sea. Bungalow fine with air con and comfy bed. Location and views superb. You come to this hotel for the beach, and you will not be disappointed. The view is spectacular. The rooms were spacious and of a high standard - no complaints! We were there in the low season, so it may be different at other times of the year, but activity on Long Beach tends to end pretty early, with dinner at the restaurant ending by 9.30PM. While the food was great, we took a long boat over to Tonsai one of the nights to check out some of the bars. Worth noting that it's a 10 min long boat... Read more

Great rooms. FREE breakfast, beautiful restaurant. Amazing views everywhere. And just far enough away from town to be peaceful but only a 30 minute walk through beautiful lush terrains if you want to go into town. They also had boat taxis to take you there. I would highly recommend this pace for peace, beauty, and luxury for affordable rates.

Best location on the island, I think. Staff just ok - quoted me one price for the taxi back to the pier repeatedly until the day I wanted to leave, then quoted me a new (higher) price, which was frustrating. The ladies giving Thai massage over stretched my lower back muscles and I was in pan for a few days. Otherwise great! Great restaurant, amazing views and swimming and bungalows.

If you are looking for a wild party on phi phi island- there are plenty of places to stay. This is not one of them. The bungalows are right on the beautiful quiet Long Beach. The Phi Phi islands natural beauty is hard to beat, but the Pearl is definitely not the best. The bungalows are far away from the Islands nite life, and has one of the best beaches. The rooms are rustic and it is quite a hike (or an expensive boat taxi ride) back to the main part of the island. It's clean and has free breakfast, but wasn't anything too special.

The bungalows are located on Long Beach which is a 10 minute long boat taxi ride away from Tonsai Pier and the main area in town. Overall I enjoyed the location. Being steps away from Long Beach is fantastic and other tourists make the trek here just for the beach. Instead of taking the longboat taxi, you are able to follow the trail to town. The layout of the hotel with Thai style bungalows spilling onto the beach is idyllic. Quirky swings hand hewn out of local teak line the edge of the beach.
