We stayed here for 3 nights, travelling by boat from Phuket. You get on a long boat at tonsai pier that takes you direct to the hotel and upon arrival at the beach all the staff were lined up to greet us, we felt like royalty. We were checked in straight away and taken to our beach hut where our luggage had already been delivered. This part of the island is very quiet and perfect for total chill out time and getting long boats to explore other parts of the island. There is a sea gypsy village ou... Read more

The resort sites on a very beautiful beach, the staff is very friendly and nice, breakfast was delicious and versatile. My only concern was that the room furniture was a bit old, especially the bathroom looks very old. Other than that overall it was a very pleasant experience.

What an incredible spot! We arrived via the main boat (not speed boat which might have been preferable) and was taken ashore to be greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Our room was upgrade and boy did we enjoy it! A romantic room nestled in the trees with a view of the pools below and the ocean. The service was great as was the buffet breakfast which was served at multiple locations each morning. One of the best ideas is to not have dinner at the resort each night. There are other local p... but the room itself was quite basic - bathroom was actually pretty bad. The beach was great and the atmosphere was quite peaceful. Kids daycare could offer more activities. The view from the beach bungalow and its easy access to the beach were indeed the "must" of it.

We arrived at the hotel by their speed boat -which was AMAZING, took under an hour and was a fun experience. When we pulled up at the hotel it really had the wow factor -clear seas, white sand, beautiful resort! We was greeted by very pleasant staff with a refreshing drink. Our room was lovely, with amazing views of the sea and outdoor shower!! LOVED this place -not a single bad point. Will definitely be back :)

Initially I felt trapped as there is nothing to do here. You feel like a Tom Hanks or a Robinson Crusoe, but as soon as I made that shift within, I loved the place. The property is absolutely gorgeous. Stand alone little houses, with a garden view and some in the front row with a beach view. We got the one with the garden, which wasn't so bad. They have a lot of greenery around, and very well done up. The rooms are clean, and no mini bar in the room, which is good, so no chance of any miscommun... Read more

We stayed at Holiday Inn for 3 nights after a few nights in Bangkok, and it was exactly what we wanted. There was a lot of space around the pool and beach, and it wasn't crowded. The service was wonderful! We booked a few activities each day we were there, from island hopping, spa treatments, to my boyfriend's scuba diving, and everything was perfectly set up. We stayed 2 nights in the hotel, and we desire more nights, the beach was great, you can use free snorkeling equipment and kayak. The Hotel has a Muay Thai Villa, where you can practice, that was amazing. The ChekIn was very easy and fast. The room was clean, ready for us, and it has a great view. The hotel arranged the transfer to the hotel, and on the checkout, the transfer to the pier for take another speedboat. It is a very good and comfortable hotel, with many things to do. To get to the island you have to take a speed boat or a ferry, and the resort has a special waiting room for the guests with free wifi and treats. This was really great, specially because we had to wait a long time. We stay at the holiday inn resort, and we have a nice experience. The staff is really friendly, fluent in english (so we had no problem communicating) and really helpful. Just checked out from this hotel today, the resort is very large and peaceful. The staffs are very nice and helpful the room itself is also nice but a bit dated. The AC doesn't seem to be as cold as it should not sure whether the weather outside is very hot or the resort limited it. You can just swim in front of the hotel as they're so many fishes! I also being recognized as IHG member which made me feel valued.

Very nice exotic hotel. Pros: 1. Quiet and calm beach. 2. Breath taking view from room. 3. They provide guidance for Snorkeling and diving. Cons: 1. A bit over-priced. 2. Food menu should contain more sea food menu. I went there for my honey moon, and it was a memorable stay there. Not only for this property but Phi Phi is like a heaven if you like sea shores.

Spend three nights in the Holiday Inn. The location is absolutely beautiful! It takes approximately 30 minutes by long tail boat to reach the hotel from the pier. Therefore you have the guarantee of a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The beach and infinity pool are amazing and both will give you a 'postcard'view. As mentioned by many guests, the rooms are outdated and not modern. However, with this location you don't want to stay inside of the room anyway. My recommendation is to get a room lo... Read more

We stayed at Holiday Inn Phi Phi for three days in the first week of June and we are glad that we decided to, despite so many suggestions from friends and reviews that said the island is overated, overcrowded, past its prime, and a slick of oil and longtail boats for the beaches. The Holiday Inn is just what you'd expect - we stayed in a bungalow and found it to be clean, simple and a good base when we literally only slept there. The downside (which may be an upside for some) is that the hotel is about 20 mins long tail boat ride from Ton Sai Bay where the main shops, nightlife and hotels are. It costs 1500 THB for a return trip and the best rate we got was 1200 THB after much bargaining. That said the restaurants right outside the hotel are great and much cheaper but... Read more

The hotel was really nice and very well kept. However it is extremely remote so you are subject to eating there and the food is very expensive. The staff was very very nice. They brought me whatever I wanted but charged for every little thing. $8.00 for an egg white omelette, $7.00 for a scoop of ice cream etc. Also. The shower does not get very hot. Luke warm at best or you sacrifice pressure and can get hot water.
