Beds are little hard right on the beach, sea view room with balcony, excellent breakfast and good swimming pool. Staff very friendly. Perfect for sunset right from the swimming pool or the balcony! Very reasonable prices for the location

They really need to upgrade their wifi connection. It is not connected anywhere. The rooms have a nice balcony, the furniture are a bit old. The showers are very bad. Beach, pool and the sunset wiev is amazing. Also the location is fine there are many things to do just a few minutes walk away. The breakfast is included in the price but it is absolutely poor, only some pancakes and jam to eat.

Loved our stay here, huge room with great aircon and very clean. The pool is amazing and it is right on the beach, stunning views, great beach, perfect place to chill out and relax. Good for families. Amazing breakfast with lots of choice. Location is great, a short taxi ride from town but also a few restaurants nearby. Only negative is the front desk staff are so miserable and unfriendly.

I stayed here with my wife for one week in February. The location is excellent. The property is on the beach and has easy access to the beach - and a beautiful part of the beach. Further south (maybe 200 metres) the beach becomes a little rocky and has a stream constantly flowing which almost cuts the beach in too and is particularly challenging at high tide. Anyway Casuarina Resort was great. The staff are very helpful. It is quiet. The buffet breakfast is OK. It changes every day which is goo... Read more

The hotel is in a beautiful location right in the middle of Long Beach. Check in was efficient and went smoothly. We booked a villa by the pool which looked inviting from outside, but inside was dated and in need of renovation. The hot water was not working so reception sent a maintenance man to fix the problem. The hot water was never fixed and after three nights of cold showers we were finally moved to another room. I understand that sometimes things go wrong but I think a little training for ... Read more

This was a very pleasant place to stay although it is dated. Beach is beautiful and pool is nice but dated as are beach chairs. Room was big and most staff friendly. Food is average. Massage staff very nice. Bathrooms need updating, especially towels. English is somewhat limited but most staff was helpful when asked.

A large hotel on the beach with a pool overlooking it. the rooms are spacious and the staff friendly. It has a feel of a tour group hotel and all that brings. it is a good spot to stay and pick up several excursions to nearby islands and activities. These generally leave via large speed boats from the beach in front of the hotel. only negative point is the in house restaurant is not as good as the others nearby.

Had a 5 night stay late January 2016. This is a larger style resort which we don't normally prefer, but despite this and despite it being fairly full, still felt we had plenty of room and space to relax. Staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were comfortable (having stayed in both a Villa and double bed room), but a little bit more attention to cleaning the showers is required. Breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of selection. The food and drinks served from the beachside terrace re... Read more

We went to ko Lanta during the low or off season in mid June. The color of the sea in Ko Lanta is not always as we see in the pics, due to rain and clouds it brings in a much different yet interesting view at the beach. We found out rooms and pool to be clean. The staff is friendly but not many people in Koh Lanta (or krabi) know English. It gets tough to communicate if you want to ask for something more specific. The long beach is probably not the best if you want to snorkel or swim. Waves can ... Read more

My friends and i stay in a lot of hotels and this is the worst i have ever experienced. Staff are not very friendly, unhelpful out room never got made up. I had to ask for new towels and toilet paper. Its low season so many things are closed. When asking to use the phone to call and see if a restaurant was open they wanted to charge us. They had no taxi or tuk tuk to take us anywhere told us to walk out on the street even in torrential rain. Breakfast was very basic, however found that staff wer... Read more

I just want to start by saying it was low season when we stayed here and that there were very few guests. Therefore we would have expected the staff had more than enough time to clean the rooms. Cleaning service was bad. There was some kind of animal poop that stayed on our bathroom mirror the entire 5 days we stayed here. They kept sweeping all the stuff on the floor into a corner. Not acceptable. The restaurant was good, pool great, beach perfect and really clean. One good thing to note i... Read more

Pros: -Excellent beach, no rocks, and the resort keeps the area in front of the hotel cleaned of trash which is nice. -Good pool, we liked that it was right by the beach. -The porch area in front of our villa. We stayed in the beachfront villa and loved getting to sit on the porch and drink our coffee in the morning. Even if the lounge chairs were all taken later in the day, we had a beachfront view at our own place! -Helpful staff. They have gotten criticism in many reviews, but we found the... Read more

This was a good, beach-side resort with a nice pool and spacious, clean rooms. The breakfast buffet was simple and had few options but the Thai options were very good. The staff are friendly and helpful and, even in the off-season, most things were available for us.

Ko Lanta was recommended as beach resort that is not as commercialized as Phuket. We did visit a low season, which meant that it rained for 2 out of the 3 days we were there. Pros: good beach, fairly clean, wifi in most areas of the hotel, free breakfast, nice pool that overlooks the beach. Beach was clean, but we did not bathe since the surf looked a little turbulent. Proximity to the town of Saladan is 15 minutes by Tuk-Tuk, and you can always find one. They are either parked just outside th... Read more

We arrived at the resort without any booking so we had to take the most expensive room left which is the villa. The hotel and the swimming pool face the beach and the sea which is nice. Breakfast is nice too. For the rest the hotel is far from "the center" where all the Bars are. The staff at the reception is unkind although the staff in the restaurant is ok. My opinion : too expensive for what it is.

Upon reading some tripadvisor reviews, we decided on this hotel as it looked ok and had a good location. Well..the location is bad, is far away from everything and if you're thinking you'll going to rent scooters so it doesn't matter..there are plenty of hotels which are nicer than this one for the same amount of money, but into the jungle which...if renting a scooter, isn't a problem. The resort is nice, the pool is amazing, right on the beach...but when entering the room, the feeling is not th... Read more
