Good location. Pool area was heavenly. The rooms where not so big, but who stays indoors? Staff were friendly and serviceminded. Very comfortable king-size beds. Breakfast tasted very good. WE WILL BE BACK.

Just back from spending one week at this lovely facility in Phuket, Thailand. I was looking for a hotel that was quiet and where I could relax for about one week without worries. This hotel fit the bill. I loved it so much that I never even made it to the beach several blocks away. The hotel provides hourly transportation to and from the beach daily. I stayed in one of the villas connected to a private pool. The villa is two story and was huge. The entry way led into the villa in a spli... Read more

Sawasdee Village was bliss. In my opinion Kata is a complete dump so after the 1st day, my boyfriend & I decided that were going to spend the entire 4 days around the hotel and we enjoyed every minute. It is on a quiet street but still has restaurants, bars, massage parlours, gym & mini-market situated on it and we also did a Thai cookery class on the same road @ "Easy Thai Cooking" which was excellent. The grounds of Sawasdee are stunning, the photo's don't lie, it is gorgeous. The pool is beau... Read more

Go and see by yourself. It's a pleasure to stay there. Make your own decisions. I'm sure you will like it. Very friendly and helpfully Staffs, even the owner very special. I come here all years since 2010 sometimes two times per year. I feel me welcome and home.

Sawasdee village and spa was a beautiful place although the rooms were quite small and if we stay again it will be a villa. The villas were amazing and we had a chance to view one definitely worth paying that extra. If planing to stay in kata beach it's a nice place just one street from the beach, there are hourly shuttles or only a 10 minute walk to the main beach. Staff were very friendly and the buffet breakfast was #1.

My Partner and I stayed here for 12 days in April 2016. The Staff are very lovely - bar one or two. The hotel is close to the beach, bars & dining, massage etc. This is not a 4 start hotel. 3 star at best. House keeping is completed late in the day - we came back many times where our room was not made (past 4pm many times), then house keeping decided to make our rooms while we were trying to get ready to go out to dinner. House keeping did not once change our sheets - even though we reque... Read more

We stayed here for a week recently. We were in a garden room and while it was smaller than some hotel rooms it had character and style and everything you needed. There were also little extra touches like mosquito repellent and tiger balm in case they still got you. The grounds were fabulous and made such good use of the space. There were lots of sheltered little areas and so much trouble taken with displays of flowers etc. The breakfast was great - lots of choice while trying to cater for visito... Read more

I have had the pleasure of staying in one of the villas which was clean and beautifully decorated in a traditional style. We have desided to move to the north of Phuket to stay with friends and even though the rooms are non refundable the very kind staff have offered us free spa treatments and food. Thanks for a grate stay we will defo be back.

We've staying in this hotel for the 3rd time. Overall experience was really good, especially the birthday surprise treat courtesy from the hotel. However, I Guess the furniture of the room need to refurbish as it looks kinda old now... Doesn't feel so comfortable cuz the smell of the old furniture was not so good....

From the very beginning booking this hotel, I was excited as it looked beautiful. First impressions when I arrived, it certainly lived up to everything I thought it would be. We were upgraded to one of the private villas when we arrived for one night. All I can say was wow, it was amazing. Own private pool, leading to an even bigger private pool with a swim up bar. Very impressive. The gentlemen that checked us in, said that the manager would happily negotiate a price if we wanted to stay there... Read more

Initially when we booked the room we thought it's just a room with pool view. It surprised us when we first arrived at the resort with all exotic thai decoration and when the staff show us our room, it is a double story villa with a jacuzzi and linked to pool outside. The swimming pool really big and can swim a few lap though. The room so spacious and the bed is very comfortable. We stayed there for 3 nights and unfortunately the first 2 days was raining. Hence we stay in the villa most of the t... Read more

From all the hotels I ever stayed at, this one is in my Top3! We had a beautiful room, with a kingsize bet, a mosquito net and a very nice bathroom. Rooms were cleaned every day. The pool with the pool bar is yeah.. beautiful. We spent there so much time, that our fingers and toes looked like we were 100 years old. Another amazing thing was the breakfast that was included. The variety was big and it was so tasty. The location of the hotel is in my opinion perfect. You are a few steps away from m... Read more

Since my last review in 2015 I visited Sawasdee Village again. This is my 6th stay here. Was great to see some of maintenance done. The decking was looking level and re stained, the damaged trellis near the pool area was replaced by bamboo and some improvements in the room. The buffet in the restaurant was also re done. If you dont mind a small room you will love the atmosphere of Sawasdee Village. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Cant wait to drop in again on my next visit to Thailand.

Walking up to the reception, I must admit I did a little happy dance! Coming off the main street and being greeted so warmly by the reception staff they'd won me over.....add to that the refreshing drink on arrival and if it couldn't get any better the door to our villa opened! WOW! The little happy dance I'd done earlier turned into an Jig as I couldn't contain my excitement. It was amazing, everything I was hoping for and more. We were treated to Spa treatments daily and getting to sit in the... Read more

The Sawasdee Village gives you truly the feeling of a movie set. The gardens and the pool area are really beautiful and well taken care of. The rooms are cosy and well designed, however they are for the class of the hotel in Thailand quite small and dark. Every night the staff places anti mosquito spirals on the terraces of each room, which keeps some of them away. Don't be intrigued by other reviews complaining, if you can't handle mosquitos, Thailand is probably not the right destination... Br... Read more

Highly recommend this location if you are looking for a tropical jungle style location at a reasonable price this is for you. This is absolutely the prettiest and most unique hotel locations I have ever stayed at any where. Lots of water features and landscaping and my descriptions really don't give it justice. The rooms are smaller but that is not why you pick this location. I would definitely stay here on a return trip to Phuket.

We spent 3 nights here in July 2016. The hotel looks exactly like the pictures - stunning. It's a walled paradise tucked away between normal streets, close to Kata beach, but once you walk inside - wow! The hotel has water features, sculptures, giant vases, tropical trees and plants everywhere you look. The attention to detail is amazing. One swimming pool with water jets and a swim-up bar is surrounded by small rooms. Similar rooms are tucked around every corner between the media room and ... Read more

A tropical paradise hidden behind the walls, beautiful gardens and paths with water features and art sculptures everywhere. Very friendly staff , clean tidy, great pool and swim up bar.
