very modern and nicely designed hotel. Service is superb especially GM Katie at front desk couldn't be more helpful and friendly. breakfast is one of the best breakfast I ever had. We did have two issues with the hotel. One is the ants in the room. They were everywhere and went into our clothes, toothbrushes, and suitcases. The hotel tried to fix it but they were there for the whole 3 days we were staying there. Even when I got home I still saw ants crawling over my suitcase. It's really bad. Th... Read more

We arrived late 10:30 on that day due to long queue at the immigration. We have been assigned to one of the two individual rooms. The design was great and bathroom and washroom are located at the back of the room which are partially exposed to the outdoor, but exclusive enough that your privacy will not be breached. You will randomly see insects or little creatures (frogs) walk by so be prepared if you afraid of this. However, all the rooms are located next to one of the small village road there... Read more

Stayed for 2 nights, resort was beautiful. All the staffs were amiable and friendly, accomdated all our needs and even suggested activities. Breakfast was awesome, presentation was good, a lot of thought put into it. Had a room on the first floor, with direct access to the pool. Only downside was the pool side chairs were not reclinable. All in all, a very nice place to relax and chill! Will definitely recommend the resort!

Booked last minute online we got a suite, this was a first floor and 2nd floor suite. On the 1st floor you had from the room a small terrace and direct access to the pool. Our bed room was on the 1st floor. The space was enormous and the bath room was perfect, big, clean and with jacuzzi. The bed was perfect and the only down side I found was the noisy arcon unit in the room, I switched it off at 0400. Breakfast was partly a la carte and it was tasty and enough. Staff was friendly and when you w... Read more

I travelled to chiang mai and stayed at this hotel. My stay was pleasent. Rooms are clean, staff are very friendly and the breakfast is good. Our room was with the pool view, the water was however too cold for a swim. My fiance planned a surprise proposal for me where the hotel staff helped out. It turned out awesome.

Stayed here for four nights. Very boutique, small place (only about 14 rooms). All of the staff are incredibly nice and took care of anything I asked for, sometimes even proactively! The breakfast was always delicious, and the dinners were good as well (however some dishes seemed to be priced a bit high). Loved the pool. Rooms are very modern and the design of the bathroom was great. Plug-in mosquito zapper provided in the room and spray provided at reception. Because of the position of the ho... Read more

Stayed here for a company retreat in March and we loved it! The location, a little out of the way tucked in some quiet area was perfect for an idyllic getaway. The architecture is beautiful, modern and well-thought out; almost a zen-like vibe. I stayed in the duplex room with private access to the pool which I appreciated. The view from my window was especially gorgeous during sunrise! The service staff were friendly & courteous. There was a good variety of options for breakfast and the food se... Read more

We've visited Zensala during our holiday in Thailand. Chiang Mai is a nice city and this is a little bit outside of the city centre. The room with the pool entrance is the best! Clean and big! The breakfast and staff are really good. Can't wait to go back one day.

This hotel is slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the old city. Quiet location facing River Ping. Only 11 rooms from 33 sqm to 60sqm. Small quaint pool. Rooms are comfortable with comfortable beds. The best of this hotel is the breakfast. Ala carte but eat as much as you like. The basil pork is delicious. The eggs are perfect. If you don't want crowd and lots of privacy, this is the place to relax and rewind. Transport is available but if you hire a car it would be more convenient. Servi... Read more

Stayed for 3 nights with my partner in March 2016. Pros : Beautiful view of the Ping River from floor to ceiling windows in our top floor room. In busy Chiang Mai something of a respite from the city. Nice room, everything worked, comfy bed, good shower, spacious, storage space for clothes, quiet. Tea and coffee in the room and bottled water. Fast and reliable free wi-fi. Friendly service, reception very helpful with local attractions, organising taxis and anything else needed. Snacks and drin... Read more
