We stayed three nights at The Peaberry and it was fantastic. A small boutique hotel with a spacious airconditioned room and bathroom, and excellent service. Yes, the bed is hard but aren't they all in South East Asia? I actually found it was better for my back. It is within walking distance to most of old town and if you can't get there by walking, you have plenty of tuk tuks and red trucks available outside the door. We walked most of the time and even used their free bicycles (be careful when ... Read more

My friends and I stayed for one night. The hotel owner met us at the airport at midnight and speaks fluent English. This hotel is well laid out, modern and very clean. The staff was very polite and helpful. Free breakfast with your choice of fresh fruit, eggs, cereal, etc. One of the many thoughtful touches was the free use of well maintained bicycles for the guests. Although in busy Chaing Mai this hotel was amazingly quiet!

It's a small hotel, with its own charm. It has a nice layout, with simple but beautiful decor. The room is of decent size and is clean & tidy. Bed and pillows are comfortable!! It's next to a main road so noise could be a problem, but not that serious! I could sleep well during my stay there. The only and minor complaint is that there is only one small window in my room. Personally, I always prefer to have more and bigger windows! Breakfast is included in the room rate. It's simple but fine. Las... Read more

Really good hotel if you want to go out and explore chaing ma. It definitely does the job. Staff are really friendly and happy to go the extra mile, giving advice and arranging transport. Well located too and great AC! Very well priced and reasonable too.

The customer service at this hotel is amazing!! The owner and his staff were so helpful with everything from checking in, booking an awesome elephant tour, providing directions and info etc. We stayed for 3 nights in a family suite with 2 bedrooms. The hotel provides air conditioning, free wifi, free bikes and a breakfast. I loved the decor of The Peaberry and everything about it.

I give this property a 4.5 stars. I only took a 1/2 star off because it is outside the central Chiang Mai area but overall I had a fantastic 6 night stay here. The hospitality staff was fantastic. They helped me arrange everything from finding a driver to hire, to signing up for cooking classes or tours. The rooms were spacious and comfy and had all the amenities you'd want including a fridge. Everything was a short taxi or tuk tuk ride away, and for the price --you really can't ask for bet... Read more

This hotel (manager and possibly owner) helped my family out when we were at our most vulnerable. My son had been medically evacuated from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai RAM hospital and we were lost and bewildered on where to find a close and decent hotel for my husband and daughter. The Peaberry was just inside the moat near the hospital and was our saving grace. The first night, they made special allowances to fit my family in and allowed us to stay night by night (since we had no idea how long ... Read more

The accomodations at the peaberry were superb, especially the staff. Most spoke English well, and some are very fluent. Everybody was friendly and smiling all of the time, and offering to help us get a cab or asking us what we were getting into for the day. They had a couple of good places to eat very close and around town, one super friendly and helpful staff walked around the corner with us and helped speak/arrange laundry with a Thai woman, who delivered it back to us then next day. My wife and I chose this place primarily as it advertised car parking space - not commonly found at "moated Old Town" accommodation. That turned out to be street parking space but in all fairness it was always available during our 5 night stay. This hotel is located in the north-west corner of the Old Town and faces a busy road but most of the rooms - like ours - are much quieter than expected. The owner/manager (Mr Kishore?) keeps a close eye on things and is very energetic and tries hard to ... Read more

My self and 2 friends stayed in Peaberry in April 16. On arrival, Tukta the lady at the reception was helpful and cheery. She had excellent English and gave a very personal service. We decided to book an extra room and the hotel tried their best to accomodate us despite being busy. The hotel is just outside the old city, but this wasnt a problem, it is around a 30 min walk or there are plenty of tuk tuks. The rooms are clean, AC works well, and the price very reasonable. There is a satisfactory ... Read more

Myself and my girlfriend arrived here for one night and ended up staying five nights. We arrived in Chaing Mai with nothing planned. As soon as we arrived the owner helped us plan our entire trip in Chaing Mai, and really made it so easy. The staff are very friendly, the rooms and amazing and its a small hotel so its nice and cozy. The highlight of this place is definitely the quality of the rooms and the owner, such a welcoming and genuine character.

We are a couple from USA. We stayed at Peaberry for 6 nights and really liked it. Our room was big and always very clean. Beds were great and shower was very nice. The staff was always very friendly and provided us with tips and recommendations daily. The staff took our laundry to get washed and had the service deliver it right to our door. We had been traveling for a while and I needed a haircut, so the owner found a cool new barber shop and booked an appointment for me. Breakfast is free and... Read more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a total of 4 or 5 nights I can't remember. The hotel is first of all so clean and well kept. The decor is really nice and we really liked our room. It had all amenities and a great shower! Breakfast was nice you could get an egg and sausages, toast, cereal, fruit and coffee etc. More than anything why I would recommend a stay here is because of the wonderful staff. The owner, in particular, went out of his way to accommodate us and give us advice on things to d... Read more

We spent seven nights at The Peaberry Hotel. Being not too close to the city centre, we were far from the hustle and bustle. The location of the hotel provided us an easy ten minutes car ride from the airport and a five minute car ride to Maya Mall. Located at walking distance is a spa, the perfect place for escaping the day's heat. Paired with its rustic decor and charming staff, the hotel made our stay in Chiang Mai memorable. Compliments to the hotel manager Mr. K for his dedication, enthusi... Read more

At first we booked only for one night sinxe we wanted to do a trekking afterwards. The owner instantly helped us booked it, which was a good one. He also spoke Dutch (same as us), which was also handy! Since the trek came back late two days later, we could directly book another night. The owner also provided useful help for visitations to/and around chiang mai and called taxis for us. The free use of bicycles was also useful. The laundry service was excellent. All in all, we were very satisfied ... Read more

Wonderful staff, couldn't do enough; booked us taxis and visits, started breakfast early on a day when we were on an early trip great value for money, good location - just on the edge of the old city; we walked the entire length of the wall while we were there.

After the last trip I had a very bad experience at a guesthouse in Chiang mai, this time at Peaberry is totally different. The service was great. I met 3 people working in the hotel. They all were very nice and helpful. A gentleman, who is the owner is very kind. The location is very convenience, facing the moat in the old city which is easily walk to Sunday walking street, Kad Suan Keaw Shoppingmall and wandering in the old city. Go and take a chance to stay there!

We spent 1 night here after flying in from Bangkok. The room was very clean and presentable, the staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was very good too. We moved on to another place in Chiang Mai as this was a little too far out on foot for what we wanted (bars/restaurants/night bazaar).

Located on the outskirts of the Old City, good location for exploring the temples. Looks unassuming from the outside but it's a small yet beautiful and charming on the inside. Staff was super helpful, offered to help me with any transportation I needed and suggestions for things to do. They even helped me make reservations. Breakfast was included and was nice in the morning. The room was small but had everything I needed and was very clean and luxurious feeling. No complaints, I would definitely... Read more

The best gadgets are the free rental bikes and a cold water spender ind the lobby. perfect place to explore Chiang Mai from and return to in the evening. Great tips from all straff members for fun activities and eateries. Everybody tries their best to make you feel welcome here.

Today is our last day here in Peaberry Hotel, Chiangmai. From the day of our arrival till our departure date, the staffs never fail to give us the best staycation we can have. They have a reasonable price and an awarding customer service. On the other hand, the amenities and ambiance was not the typical hotel types we can see everywhere, but something that offers a different style and comfort that makes it standout and worthy. Their location, however, is near the street markets which gives an ea... Read more

Loved this place and the manager is amazing! small cafe in the front with small breakfast and eggs to order. great vibe and very relaxing little spot, though it is on a busy road and you can hear the traffic. it is an open air hotel but the rain did not affect us at all. always very clean, the best were hard (though we found this throughout thailand) and we were in a great location to explore the old city. easy walking distance to shops, walking market (highly recommend), and temples in the city... I can't recommend this hotel enough. We received service that is very unheard of nowadays, the owner, Mr Kishore was genuinely passionate about his hotel and the guests. He was always on hand to give recommendations and advice about the surrounding area. The location of the hotel is great, right on the edge of the city square. About 10 minutes walk into the city centre. This was one of the best hotel experiences me and my partner have received, and we can't wait to visit again. Thank you.
