After traveling Myanmar for 3 weeks, I booked this hotel for my visit to Chiang Mai. The hotel is great, rooms are great and staff is nice. However, I had a room on the roadside (3rd floor) and it was terribly noisy with all the street traffic racing by all day and night. As a result, I did not enjoy my stay and missed the peacefulness I had the weeks before! Advice: book a room on the back side of the hotel.

This is a well located hotel. Right on the edge of old town. About a 15 minute walk to some of the temples. Spas, laundry and restaurants close by. Excellent service. Staff very attentive and kind. Room and bathroom shower was big and clean. Great air con.

I have not stayed in the Peaberry hotel yet but visited the cafe a couple of times while on the way to Sense Thai massage studio nearby. The cafe with its open air area attracted me to sit for a while, sip an iced late and chat with Ms Li who was such a nice company to talk with. Judging by those first impressions I'd say the hotel might be a nice place to stay as from my traveler's experience I valued the staff and the service the most.

I can't say enough good about our experience at this hotel. Staff consistently gracious and helpful. They arranged some day trips for us. The woman at the coffee/breakfast cafe is a gem. There are made to order eggs and with a rice or noodle dish. Delicious. and very cute eating area. Our room was on 2nd floor. Very clean, firm bed and good AC and warm to hot water. I would see if there may be rooms on a higher floor with balcony. Quiet. You can walk to main old town area in 10 minutes.

My sister and I stayed here during our visit to Chiang Mai, it's absolutely adorable! We arrived later, our flight from Bangkok was delayed an hour on top of the original late arrival time we had. The owners were up and waiting and helped us with out bags. The staff was super friendly and chatted with us while waiting for our uber or pickups for elephant daycare or Thai cooking class we did. In the am we were always were greeted with smiles from everyone, including their daughter (under a year).... Read more

We enjoyed our stay at this modern boutique hotel. The service was great starting with Sue at reception, Kishore and extending to the kitchen staff. We got a complimentary room upgrade to their suite since it was our honeymoon. A nice gesture. Breakfast was more than sufficient. Loved the noodle dish on our first day and the sweet pineapples. Kishore and Sue were helpful in arranging an Uber ride for us to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Beds were a little harder than we were used to, but not a big de... Read more

So, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the Peaberry but I think, based on all the TA reviews, that I was expecting more. Sue at Reception was lovely and someone brought our bags to our room (two flights up so appreciated!) but that's where the specialness ended. It was a clean guesthouse with ok breakfast (not good if you can't have eggs though). Nothing more. I think it was expensive for what we got. Perhaps unfairly, but unintentionally so, I'm comparing it to Family House Zen in Pai ... Read more

We enjoyed our stay at the Peaberry. Easy access to the airport, right on the edge of the old town. Easy walk to more touristy area. The hotel is on a main road which is quite busy. Some of the road noise can be heard from the rooms but it was not enough to be bothersome to us. Breakfast was served in the coffee shop right next door (directly attached) and was remarkably satisfying for a small place. Great cappuccinos offered at half price to hotel guests. Super helpful hotel staff. The hotel of... Read more

The hotel is very nice with a great breakfast in the morning, it's situated on the edge of the inner city limits with plenty of taxis around. It was the staff though that made the 3 day stay there all the more enjoyable, very helpful and attentive. Would definately stay there again if we went back to chiang mai!!
