As I said. Cockoroaches, everywhere. We were on a honeymoon trip, and, even we mentioned that in the reservation, they located us in a small filthy and dusty room with a non working air conditioning. Whoever who has been to Thailand will know how essential is the ac. They checked us in, accepted our payment and once they left us in the room, I opened the toilet and saw a huge cockroach in the floor. Not exageration, those bugs in Thailand are enormous. I go to reception and claim for it to be ... Read more

The room, booked through Venere.com, is acceptable, but quite old and small. We found the staff quite unfriendly. During the check-in we signed a document for the assumption of responsability for the valuables not kept in the safe. Unfortunately during our first night someone stole our money that we left outside the safe locking the room's door. Location is good, close to both Thapae gate and night market. Wifi is not fully working. Breakfast is limited (not a buffet), they bring you as few as p... Read more

Nice atmosphere, good location (hightlights within walking distance). Friendly staff. Lots of musquito's near entrance, breakfast was basic (egg, toast, fruit) but good. Room was clean, bed was a bit hard. Stayed there for four nights, staff can help out with excursions. Good value for money!

Greeted by friendly staff, the room was fairly small and simple with a hard bed but that proved to be great as my back gave me no trouble throughout my stay. Breakfast quite simple and standard fare for Thai hotels but nevertheless adequate. The location was great, less than 5 minutes from Tha Pae gate and closs to the night market. would be happy to stay there again next time I'm in Chiang Mai.

We stayed here from Jan 20th to Jan 26th 2016 and were very happy with our stay. The staff was very friendly and made several very good recommendations. We liked the morning breakfast. Room was good- a bit noisy during the day because of construction work nearby. Bathroom was interesting, we did get good hot water. There are some mosquitos specially if you keep the doors open for longer than 2 seconds-- but hotel staff provided mosquito repellant. There is a TV that plays mainly Thai channels an... Read more

Nice location. Near old town, near night bazaar. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Quiet neighborhood. And very, very good coffee in a little coffee shop by the pool which is nice. Good value for money.

Good location, clean hotel, very friendly staff, slippers & robes, tea making facilities, great breakfast and again friendly staff. Tucked down an alleyway so you don't hear the road. Downside - built from concrete, which looks great but you hear every sound, especially if your room is by the lift or overlooking the terrace - we asked to be moved and luckily they had another room. Shame our safe was broken and they don't have an iron you can borrow.

Stayed here a few times over a four month period. It's one of the few places I go back to. Reasonable rates for what you get. Rooms are clean and cozy. Good wifi. Good central location to most everything in Chiang Mai. Delicious, filling breakfast. Amazing massage right next door in the temple...least expensive around too.

We chanced upon this boutique hotel when we arrived in Chiang Mai in the late evening from Pai. We needed some place to stay and we somehow found this hotel after a few searches. It turned to be way better than we expected. Friendly staff and superb front office customer service. Love the old/vintage furniture sets in the room and interesting wooden bathroom door; one which is so different from the mainstream hotel's layout.

This boutique house has it all! It is designed for the true Thai experience with beautiful wood floors. I could see a temple from my window. It is walking distance from the Thapae Gate, Night bazaar, dentist, Thai massage, drug store, shops, great restaurants ( Angel's Secret and Cooking Love ) and a bicycle for 50 bahts or scooter for 250 bahts a day for places out of walking distance. I travelled here alone... but never felt alone. Katie and the other front desk staff found out what I wanted an... Read more

The staff made it for us, from our pick up at the airport in a cool aircnditioned car with a lovely female driver who worked for the hotel. Her English was very good and she used to be a tour guide so she had lots of tips and advice for us. Upon arrival we were shown to our lovely large room (family suite) with a huge shower including a bath. The hotel had good wifi in all areas too. Breakfast was basic but good (watermelon, ham, toast and eggs cooked the way you like it, choice of tea or coffee... Read more
