I stayed from 24th to 28th of March in this hotel, the location is good and accessible, the place is clean, big room, good WiFi and the service is great. My only problem is that they gave us a room (Room 205) which can't be locked if you are out. You can try to lock it, but all you need is a little bump to open the locked door. luckily nothing were stolen during my stay.

It was little far from the main spot but the hotel was nice enough for staying a night. One thing I wanna share a tip for a famaily brings little kids is that you never put the water bottle in the refrig. It is gonna be broken. The refriger was too weak for hold a glass bottle..what my kid did is just open the refriger's door. And the water bottle they provided was fell down to the floor and broken. And we paid 50 bath. Other things were good for the price.

This hotel is just OK. Rooms are really BIG and clean. It is little old, but not to much. Wi-Fi in rooms is free and work good, air con work good. Location is quiet but close to old city and main atraction. In hotel they sell tours, but little cheaper you can fin in downtown. Jungle trip real price is 1000THB. Taxi from airport is 160thb and transfer to the airport 200thb!?!? Night market is 15-20min by easy walking, just like nightlife places like Yellow Zoe...Chiang Mai is the beautifull and l... If you like me and my partner sometimes you need a hotel every now and then just to relax, have a hot shower and a good bed. This place has all that at about $20 AUD. staff are nice hotel is clean safe and in a good spot just outside Chiang Mai old town. Do yourself a favour and start your day with a coffee at Nes coffee about a 5 minute walk from here

Just outside the Old City but within walking distance to Sunday Night Market, Thapae Gate. !0 mins drive from the Airport. Rooms are the same, with balcony but there is no real advantage of room view selection as hotel is set off the main road surrounded by other building. Good parking on site, clean hotel, friendly staff. With prices between B500 - B600 per night this hotel is good value

Pros Friendly tour lady Good location (walkable to night markets, near cheap eateries and 7/11) Tuktuks and red cars for hire just outside Cons Reception: Charged for calls inside and outside the hotel (we weren't informed) Expensive laundry services (90thb/kilo) Receptionist was rude and didn't know where the nearest money exchange was No early check-in despite available rooms Lobby's airconditioning is not on the whole day General: Facilities are old walls are thin with a lot of noise at n... Good staff, with good local knowledge, good value for money, easy to book tours and trips in the reception area, maids were very efficient (even if they do call to clean your room at 9:30am), I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends purely because it was cheap yet a good BRITISH standard hotel. Overall very impressed

Cheap price and room are very clean, good service and wifi is ok.. if you like walking for maybe 1 KM every time you want to reach night bazaar book this hotel otherwise you will feel that hotel is so far from old city and main attractions. I recommend this hotel for people who wants private rooms with prices are the same as hostels.

I stayed here for several nights. They'll replace your water and towels every day upon request. It's not the best location, despite appearances. To get to the old city you'll be walking over a km to get to one of the bridges that cross the moat. If you don't mind using a tuk tuk or waving down a songthaew across the street, you won't have a problem, but there's a learning curve to taking this kind of transportation and if you aren't willing to figure out how it can get expensive. Otherwise there... Read more

The wifi is HORRIBLE. It was out half the time and when it did work it was so slow. The staff is good. The AC wasnt working but they came right away and cleaned the AC filters which completely solved the problem.

Happy with the short stay in Chiang Mai, the hotel was clean and modernish. The staff were helpful and location wise it was perfect. Close to the night bazaar costing around 40 baht in a Tuk Tuk otherwise walking would take 15 mins. Arranged a trip to the elephant sanctuary in which they found it with ease. Would recommend if you are wanting a clean central hotel without breaking the bank.

The room was nice and big with a balcony. The hotel is right outside the Chiang Mai city center, it's possible to just walk all over the city and explore from here but if you need a ride there are taxis and tuk tuks by the hotel entrance.

Although appearance from the outside is pleasant, this is where the pleasantry ends. Reception staff lack that Thai friendliness that Thailand is so well known for. From initial arrival to even handing a key in, everything seems like you're bothering them. They don't seem to want to help! I had a small issue with amenities and was told bluntly "call hotels.com", that's it. I stood my ground and was eventually told by them "You speak our manager then" which I duly did. Problem solved but it too... Read more

Actually a fair hotel to stay, good price with big room, convenient location around old city. But my problem is bed bugs infestation. Once I complain, staff do not know what to do and just apologize. They never offer to compensate for my medical bill for my bed bugs allergy rash whatsoever. Airport transfer service is too expensive

The hotel is very rundown, I do not know how old this hotel is, but I have suspicion that it is much older than me. The room is OK, not super clean, but I just convince myself that I get a good deal with the price (though I did not compare prices for the same hotel in the surrounding). I admit I got fooled by the pictures on the booking sites, since the pic look like a very decent, nice hotels, when in reality it is just a very old hotel that does not look like that in real life. I did not get t... Read more

It's cheap but still not worth the money. 5 minutes walking distance to the old town and 10 to the night market. The room is basic but comfortable, clean and the amenities work except for the wifi which is terrible. You'd be better off somewhere else.

Given our room key where the balcony door did not even have a lock on it (there was a space where it should have been!) waited over an hour totally wasting our night for someone to come, we then did not wish to wait longer and asked to change rooms. FILTHY sheets. Have never seen sheets so dirty. I got covered in BED BUG BITES also. The rooms had no where to put valuables and the staff were rude. One man in particular made myself and my boyfriend feel very very uncomfortable, so uncomfortable th... Read more

I stayed here for 3 nights with my girlfriend on our backpacking trip. We moved in here after previously staying in a hostel for four nights in Chiang Mai (we wanted to get into cleaner environment). For around £10 a night we cannot complain, the room was clean with good air conditioning. It's in a great location just a couple minutes walk from the old town. There's nothing spectacular about this hotel, so if you are looking for luxury look else where. If you just need a basic but clean/nice pl... Read more
