Stayed here for 4 nights during the lantern festival in Chiang Mai. Staff spoke little to no English, but that did not stop them from being helpful and pleasant. Rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel itself is located south east of the walled city, but it is a short walk. When walking back at night, be advised that some of the neighborhoods in the area are somewhat poor, so if you are skiddish or travelling by yourself you may feel uncomfortable. I found the breakfast wanting. For their prices they should offer more than instant coffee that you prepare yourself. Breakfast is also tailored to Chinese travelers, which made up the majority of guests while I was there. Roosters started crowing at 5 AM, which was irritating. Staff spoke almost no English, making simple communication difficult. They tried to give me someone else's laundry. Pros: it was off the beaten path, clean.

Nothing to write home about, but very serviceable stay. In a quiet, somewhat sketchy neighborhood, but, after a short 5 minute walk, you are right outside the SE gate of Old City. 20 minute walk to Night Bazaar. Clean rooms, decent shower/bathroom. Although nothing to compare it to in the area, I would seek other other accommodations; however, I would not be disappointed at all if I stayed here again.

When i first arrived to the hotel which i had booked and paid for, for 12 nights the main desk was not able to find my booking and over a hour passed before i was brought up to my room. the room was clean, tidy and very comfy but i was not expecting this. I left change in a glass cup over my bed and one 2 occusions the cleaning staff had taken it. in total maybe about 200B which is that much and normally i would leave any change to the staff at the hotel as it is no good to me when i am leaving ... To be honest if we hadn't paid for 5 nights when we checked in we'd have left after 1 night. Maybe that's why they do it! They tried to add 3% credit card charges which is not listed on Booking.coms terms,so I kicked up and refused to pay,and after a phone call they gave in. Our room was a bit depressing, very dark and the only natural light from a window in the corner of the room, also not particularly clean, with a layer of dust in the wardrobe, which didn't have any coat hangers. As most other ... Read more
