The Imm Hotel is in a great location and priced pretty well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We rented a scooter through their tours desk for a good price and had no problems. The only reason for the 4* review is because when I was asking about the jade factory, the kid at the front desk told me to go to gems gallery instead. I unfortunately took his advice and when we arrived, we found ourselves in an expensive tourist trap that worst of all sold very little jade.

I went this hotel for visiting with my friends for 4 days. The location was so good and beautiful. The front staff could gelp me everything especially Thanatcha and Yannapat. Upon arrival I were also warmly welcomed by the same staff. I reccommend for this hotel if you will come to chiangmai!

The hotel location is great, just opposite of Thapae Gate (Sunday Market). Fast Food restaurant MCD is just next to the hotel, Starbucks just the opposite of the hotel, convenient shop just by walking distance. With the priced paid, with the room cleanliness, it is all worthwhile. The room size was just nice for 2 person, the bed is comfortable. Just a little downside we have encounter, is the staff friendliness, we have encounter that the front desk staff is not friendly. Seldom smile! :-).. Ov... Read more

Okay this place was a very nice and professional place to drop your bags. As soon as I saw there was a McDonald attached to the front I was laughing with comfort delight. The room are clean and a good size. I did not have a deluxe room, so even though they have a kettle in the room, there was no coffee included HA HA. I didn't mind that but I thought it was funny. Check in and out was easy. Staff VERY friendly. You get a few discounts for staying there to McDonald, massage and coffee. Only is... Read more

This hotel located in a very good location. opposite the walking market and closed to old town in city wall. You also got special discount from McDonalds, Zoo ticket, and Spa by showing Imm hotel card. Very good deal for the guest. The food is pretty normal but just enough and worth your money. In overal, this is a good place for staying in Chiang Mai with the best location you could get here.

Having stayed at IMM CM many times over, it's the personalised service that stands out (in addition to room cleanliness), esp from one front line staff named Mr Krissada. Handled my reservation and room type request in between travel to Laos professionally. Thumbs up!

This hotels location is fantastic for the local bars restaurants and Sunday market. I honestly do not understand what some of the bad reviews are complaining about. The staff were most helpful and the rooms had everything that you could possibly want/need. WiFi is strong throughout the building and although you are spoilt for choice with laundry options in the area u also have the option to do it your self in the laundry area located on the 4th floor. I'm not sure if it was just a promotional of... Read more

Thank you all staffs for hospitality. The hotel was clean, room size was good, breakfast was ok, and Internet was good too. It was good to know that has elevator up to 3rd floor. The staffs were able to give me information about restaurants, attractions, taxi price, and local activities I asked for. Overall for 5 nights I stayed there - Very good!

The room is kept extremely clean with the daily housekeeping. The breakfast is ok but basic. The staff on reception are very young and have zero customer care skills. The trip desk is even worse, they sit on their phones or nap all day. Apart from that, we liked the location right opposite the gate into the old city. Felt safe and easy to get about. They advertise as being cheaper if you book direct, don't bother, it's cheaper on the other sites, hotels.com etc. I gave them the chance to price m... Read more

IMM is a centrally located hotel with lots of restaurant, cafe and market near by. Room is clean, comfortable, but does not really worth the price they ask for. You will have to wake up early in the morning due to the noise from breakfast hall that can echo so loudly and penetrate every single room. Airport transfer is a rip off

April 2016: Unpleasant experience with Imm hotel Chiangmai, been here more than 6 times but it's never going to get better. The staff has mood less face all the times. On the other hand, I would say this hotel is a great place to stay and location is also good as it is near everything. 28-08-2016: I'm back to Chiangmai again and staying here at Imm Hotel and I see the different of the reception from the last April. I'm so impressed that the staff is they now attracting better and can improve t... Read more

I always stay here when in Chiang Mai due to its excellent location, reasonable price and comfy rooms, staff is nice, close to walking street market on sunday night. A lot of noise in the morning in the room when there is breakfast although we were in the 2nd floor!

Rooms are spacious and clean. The location is good. Prices of the rooms are reasonable. I wouldn't have breakfast there again, go somewhere else for better quality and more variety! They offer a bag drop service if you need to leave luggage whilst you go trekking which is very useful.

We stayed for 4 nights. Good location and clean room. Not a great customer service but they hold your bags after the check out if you need. When we arrived our room was extremely hot and the AC took awhile to work. Only one small window in the room.

Room is cheap, clean and spacious. Upon entering the room, there is a strong paint smell. It should be newly renovated I guess. The reception is friendly. Location is easy to find, can take the tuk tuck at 20 baht. The television in the room is small. There is breakfast included but variety is little. Breakfast from 6.30am to 10.30am. No toothbrush or toothpaste provided. There is no queen, big bed. All are super single bed.

The hotel itself is very adequate. I stayed here for a month for work. The best part about the IMM is it's location: plain and simple. You're in the dead center of the city. The Sunday walking street is right out the front door. You're a 15 minute walk to the night bazaar, the north gate, and Chedi Luang. Nimmanhaemin road is maybe a 15 minute tuk tuk ride away. It's a prime spot to see the city. Pros: The staff was perfectly friendly. -The breakfast was basic but good. -The bed was very soft f... Read more

If your looking for all the frills and amenities of a high end hotel, you won't find it here. Now if you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel with just the bare essentials and breakfast in the old city in front of Thaphae Gate then this hotel is for you! The hotel is near the Sunday markets and night bazaar as well as a few places to eat (fast food and local). Also there are a few temples nearby that you can get to on foot!
