We stayed 7 nights at Ibis Styles hotel in Chiang Mai. The hotel is situated out of the old city walls but pretty close to Maya Mall and Chiang Mai Zoo. A modern hotel with clean rooms. We had a deluxe room.Excellent wi-fi signal probably the best what we had in Thailand so far. The only downfall was the breakfast which lack in variety, correct labeling and taste the last one is very unusual for Thailand where the food is excellent and well seasoned.Because of this we skiped to dine at the hotel'... Bed was a little firm to be frank, but the Hotel is so well situated, and the kitchenette, nice shower and spacious rooms were wonderful. (The airport is close by, so there are some plane noises occasionally, but didn't stop me sleeping) Breakfast was a little chaotic, as a lot of Chinese were staying and they don't know how to queue like us brit's. But breakfast buffet was OK, and I found enough to eat and plenty of fresh coffee. Average seems a little unfair, but so is "very good" It was jus... Read more

I stayed in the deluxe room in building 3. If your room is like mine, be prepared for loud noises from 6am to 2am every day. You can really hear the airplanes taking off and landing from the nearby airport. And at night, a few idiotic racers and bikers ruin it for everyone with their stupid fart can exhausts. Aside from the noise, the hotel is acceptable although unrefined. There is no kitchenware so the mini kitchen doesn't serve much of a purpose apart from microwaving and refrigerating food. ... The location is great near all the great attractions, near Nimmanahaeminda road, near foothills of Doi Suthep, near all the other local attaractions like Zoo and near the airport as well. The rooms are not expensive but are also very small with low ceiling and only on window so give claustrophobic feeling to some.Breakfast is the highlight-really very very good and the staff is very polite and service oriented.

I have a chance to stay at Ibis Style Chiangmai hotel. I think hotel is located in good location. It's closed to Huaykeaw and Nimman area. The room is big, clean and modern. I think it's worth for money.

We stayed in room 2314 for 4 nights on 2 to 5 June 2016, booked directly with the hotel at very affordable rate of THB1659 per night for a Superior Room with a King Size Bed. Check-in was fast and smooth, the room was clean and neat, all basic necessities are provided, free wifi and breakfast. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Location isn't central but easy to get a songthaew from there to anywhere within the city. It's about 15 to 20 mins walk to the Maya Shopping Mall and Nimmanhaemin Soi ... Read more

For several week-ends in July I had to run training programmes in the Ibis Styles Chiang Mai. It was one of those experiences that left you with the distinct feeling that it "Was the best of times, it was the worst of times" Let me start with the best of times. The staff in charge of the training facilities were hard good at their job - attentive and tired hard to please. In the same way the staff in the dinning room did their best to accommodate the various dietary preferences. The problems ... Read more

To my surprise it was a very nice hotel, beautifully renovated and very friendly staff. The price is very reasonable as well. The buffet breakfast was very good and the spread was wide, it covered most countries.

Actually I plan to stay only 1 night by using Thai Tiew Thai Voucher, it is good that room has been upgraded to Superior at 2nd building. So it is quiet at day time and I can concentrate on working. Room is comfortable and full facility with strong wifi signal, so I decide to extend 1 more night for working. It is so annoying for loud noise (talking or opening or closing the door) from Chinese people nearby. It looks that Ibis is famous in Chinese people. If you prefer quiet and private stay, I ... The location is good but the hotel interior need some serious renovation. It looks really old. The floor is dirty and broken. This is not my first time here. I wouldn't go back until the hotel has done some renovation.

Very clean room, excellent breakfast (included) and buffet lunch choices. I lucked out on the room because they ran out if the budget rooms so I got an upgrade which included a very good size modern room with full refrigerator kitchen table and office area plus terrace. Staff was very nice including housekeeping. the only annoying thing was the use of the soap in the shower. I know this is IBIS style, not IBIS, but the IBIS's I've stayed at in Thailand have soap dispensers in with the show... Read more
