Well I must say the hotel was excellent considering the price we paid on hotels.com. Pros: Its set down a side street so ZERO noise to disturb our sleep. The hotel was well kept and traditional looking although the decor on corridors were slightly out of date they still fine. The rooms were nice and basic but much better than expected and had a small balcony on the room (though doesn't fit any furniture). Hotel staff were fab and the hotel had a nice clean pool with loungers. The hotel is also ... Read more

Stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour, about 30 mins from Chiang Mai train station. Nice area, felt safe. Local amenities were good. Nice swimming pool and rooms we nice and clean. Hotel restaurant also good! free Wifi was good in reception and by the pool, was a bit hit and miss in the rooms, the higher up seemed to get worse even tho had several connection points. Breakfast was good.

Located just about a 5 minute walk down a quiet soi (alleyway) from the ring road and the old city wall. Convenient to the Sunday night market right at that gate. Check in was easy and painless with staff helpful about the facility and the morning breakfast. There was a tour agent in the lobby as well, but we didn't use. We had our own car so did our tours ourselves. The place is a little bit dated, but is clean and at an affordable price. Rooms are fairly big with a desk area built in with the ... Read more

We would definitely stay here again. Nice hotel, and nice rooms. A little older but all in all, everything was in pretty good shape. They kept the room nice and clean for us. This place was about location for us. It was super convenient, easily able to walk into the middle of Chiang Mai to visit all the temples, and the street stalls they set up on the edge of the town square (super close). And for those that enjoy Thai massages like my husband and I did, there are a few cheap massage plac... Read more

The room was not very clean, the bathroom especially. Breakfast was just ok. The staff is friendly. If you have a trip starting from this hotel and you have to leave luggage for a few days here, it just sits in the lobby for days where everyone can grab it. There is no locked luggage room where it is safe. The location is nice, within walking distance from the nice bits of Chiang mai and you can also easily grab a tuk tuk.
