Well located within the old city, 7 eleven , markets around the corner , staff very friendly and helpful . The pool area is smAll but it is refreshing after a day of walking in chiang Mia . The hotel restaurant is superb with reasonable prices . I stayed here during the Thai new year and it was just Awsome. Good stay for 2-3 days .

Everything was just perfect: great and helpful staff! The rooms are lovely and very clean. Perfect location within a quiet and idyllic surrounding and closed to shopping facilities. I can really recommend this place and would come back anytime!

This hotel is located in the heart of Chiang Mai and has nice and well furnished rooms. I recommend to go for dinner or lunch in the small but excellent restaurant. Service is very friendly and polite. Sometimes a little noisy from the surrounding area but ok for the central location. Give it a try!!

Excellent, clean 3 1/2 star hotel within walking distance of most attractions in the Old City. The lobby help is courteous but the tours seller will try to sell you guided tours if you ask simple questions....do your own research before arriving here. A 100baht ($3) tour was tried to push on me for 800baht ($25). Public tour versus private tour...you can decide. The breakfast buffet is very good considering that you will need energy exploring Chiang Mai. But be FOREWARNED that tour groups from M... Read more

De Lanna located at Old City. It very convenience walk to Sunday night market. There still have a lot of tuk tuk driver dont know the exact location, advise to bring a hotel map when you are out. Room is clean and nice, come with a toy that hang at the room door with "Do not Disturb" this is a very special design instead of transitional sign board. The batheroom come with bathe tub and there are open window to enjoy the view while bathe, provided you get a corner room. At night, you can brin... Read more

This is a lovely boutique hotel with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Location wise it's great for exploring the old town and not too far from one of the main temples so easy to get tuk tuk back. While I was there it was the new moon festival so no alcohol for sale for two days (I should have found this out and got to the 7/11 the day before) still enjoyed some great mock tails tho. Elsewhere at the markets and tourist areas you could get a singha or Chang served from a teapot or fizzy d... Read more

This is my second visit. The location is in the heart of old city of Chiang Mai, an ancient city and capital of Thailand. Most of the tourist attractions in terms of historic places and buddhist temples are located around at walking or biking distance. It is within the square of ancient wall of the old city. Convenience stores, bike rental, restaurants and coffee shops are nearby that you can choose by your choice. Sunday market or walking street for tourist is only few steps away. The hotel is ... The hotel was typical thai style in the old city of Chiang Mai, good location. The hotel needs to put more effort into general maintenance, needs to buy new towels as most of them were stained and even ripped. The breakfast could do with a few more options and the bacon needs to be crispy. Noisy aircon. All things said it provided good value for money during low season.

I stayed in delanna for 5 nights. Overall i would stay again. Check in: we organised airport transfer with hotel, 250baht, quick and easy. When we arrived for check in we had some issues. Two of our group have the same first name so the hotel decided that their seperate bookings were in fact one and thus only one room with a double bed was reserved. After much discussion they finally realised their mistake and found another room(the hotel was very quiet so i dont see why finding another room w... Read more

We very much enjoyed the 3 nights that we spent at the hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the bathroom was nice and modern with a large shower. The staff was kind and helped us with any questions that we had, they were also very helpful in figuring out transportation to locale spots and the airport. The breakfast had a large selection and was delicious. The hotel is located in the heart of the Old City so it is only a short walk or quick taxi to many of the local highlights. The poo... Read more

A quaint little place set close to the city. There is a lovely garden with a small pool perfect for relaxing in. The room was large and plenty of room for 3 adults. Loved the rainfall shower and the industrial look to the bathroom too. The breakfast was ok, there was enough choice.

The hotel has a perfect location: close to the Sunday Street market, temples, great cafes. It's perfect, either you are walking or riding a bike. The rooms are big and clean, with a great balcony. I loved the Thai handcrafts and decoration. The pool is always quiet, fringed with palm trees. It's very peaceful. Live concerts by the pool at night. Lovely atmosphere.

Positive: - Nice rooms with plenty of space - Big safe - Very decent bath room - Very comfortable pool loungers - Plenty off opportunities for parking - Good selection at the breakfast Negative - Safe didn't work when we arrived. After informing the reception they sent some staff to our room which couldn't fix the problem (at 10:30 pm). It was only fixed the next day and we had to use a locker for one night. I would expect that everything is checked in rooms of a 4 star hotel before they chec... Read more

The hotel is located inside the walled city and places within are all a walking distance. The hotel serves good breakfast. Room is a little too small if its for 3 guests. The extra bed provided was very uncomfortable and caused backache on the third night.

Very close to the temples and the 3 Kings monument. Staff were very professional, friendly and efficient. Great breakfast. Our room was very clean, the bed was really comfortable and the pool was lovely. It's about a 20 minute walk to the night bazaar and about 5-10mins from restaurants and bars. The bar was very simple and food quite limited.

I spent significant time researching Chiang Mao hotels. Unfortunately this did not pay off as I poorly selected de Lanna for a 3 night stay with 2 friends. I wanted to like this facility so badly Pros - breakfast offered many options - the grounds were beautiful with a nice pool Cons - I didn't think room size would bother me as we had activities planned. Unfortunately the rooms were TINY! You had to walk into the shower to close the bathroom door. - they didn't clean our hotel room. This... Read more

My boyfriend and I had one reason for staying in Chiang Mai and that was to visit one of the many elephant sanctuaries. I chose De Lanna Hotel for our two night stay and I loved everything about it! Just one day before, I called to ask if they can pick us up at the airport, and they told me to email them our flight number. They responded in no time and confirmed that someone will be waiting for us, holding a sign with my name on it. When we arrived at the airport, there was no waiting at all. We... Read more

I didn't expect a check-in desk open to the outside. But the check-in process was quick even with the language barrier. Rooms were decent size. Finished concrete is new to me but comfortable. Bathroom is small, it was very hard to get extra towels and the ones they leave daily tend to rip or shred due to use. Pool and property are nice and clean. Bar has good food and drinks, great service. Daily breakfast buffet is a nice plus. This hotel is worth the price, please keep that in mind.

location is good, staff were pleasant, breakfast was good.we stayed in a delux room,it had no windows the only natural light source was from the front doors however for privacy the curtains had to be pulled across.this results in a dark room where the bed head lights need to be on all day.pool and grounds were not bad.

We stayed there for three nights. It's not a pleasant experience as cockroaches were found in the room, facilities were not well maintained and most terribly, the entrance door was left opened after cleaning. I wouldn't stay here again.
