This hotel is not in the old town but is easy to get to from the airport. Check in staff were very nice and our room was a nice size and very clean and confortable. Our room was not noisy. There were a number of nice places to eat and drink nearby and some independent shops as well as a shopping mall. There was a nice big selection of tasty things for breakfast. The downside of this hotel is the tourist assistance. We asked the front desk for a taxi to take us to an attraction. They sent us do... Read more

Arrived in the morning and the check in time was at 12pm. We were told that the hotel was fully booked the night before. The staff managed to get us a room and have it ready within 30min. I requested a room on the higher floor that faces the mountains and were given just that. The view from the room took our breath away. We booked a one-bedroom suite and it was huge. The entire front of the room is glass panel giving a panoramic view of the mountain. Location was perfect. Right opposite Maya sh... Read more

We stayed in Chiang Mai for a week, and the Eastin Tan was an ideal location to explore the Nimmanhaemin Road area and all that it has to offer, especially the food and the shops. The hotel looks quite new, and we received a warm welcome. Our room was compact but was nicely appointed and contained all we needed, with spectacular views over the city and to the mountains. The pool was perfect for a swim in the afternoons to escape from the heat of the day. We had a full buffet breakfast each ... Read more

The hotel is in a fery modefn market style mall with artwork and boutique style shops. I would stay therecagain

I was given an upgrade for suite room 715. Out of the window, the view of Doi SuThep is nice with light of sunset. The room spacious, facilities and amenities were also given in fully function. The bathroom is opened-style, suitable for lover. One cons found at restaurant was very crowded in the morning and some buffet dishes were empty/finished. Overall it was pleasure stay.

Would've given full marks if it wasn't for the loud music I keep hearing from the bar right outside in the open area with the big tree. It's 12 am and it's still playing and I can hear it from the 6th floor. Might be better if you choose a room on the other side of the hotel not facing this for a quieter night. Otherwise the room was great.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. I have had a smooth check in during my arrival to the hotel. The rooms are clean with a great mountain view. However, the room are lack of lightening and tends to be a bit gloomy in the evening. The hotel is located just opposite a mall with 5 minutes walking distance. Overall for Eastin Tan Chiang Mai is good hotel to be considered for both business and leisure trips to Chiang Mai.

Choosing to stay 2 nights with Eastin Tan and it's a smart choice. The staff is friendly, room is amazing, with the room rate, the room is big, equipped with small kitchen, and a very good view from the room, guess what, lay on the bed I can the the flight fly over~ it's a very good view and the it's a mountain view too. The staff is very courteous and friendly . The hotel is very clean and the rooms spotless upon check-in. Its right across the street from the Maya shopping mall, and near some quaint store front businesses. You can also arrange area tours from the hotel as well which is nice having that on the premises. At night, if you have a room that faces the street area , you'll hear some traffic and the music from the courtyard below. I was on the upper level of the hotel so it wasn't a major disturbance ... From the check-in to the whole stay we are extremely not satisfied with the staff services and manners. They are not yet ready to serve all the guest. The layout of the 3 bedroom penthouse are indeed ridiculous. Just imagine before you go into the house during raining days you will need to get yourself wet due to there's no roof from the walkway to your rooms (no doubt its a short distance only). Such a new hotel the door lock are damage on the second day of our stay. Waitress at the restaurant ... Read more

Today is my 3 days here in Eastin Tan. So far, I'm enjoying my 1 bedroom suite very much. Clean and nicely arranged living room. Kitchen is well equipped. Spacious bathroom. The bathtub overseeing the mountain view. Gym is well equipped and bigger than usual hotel's gym. Breakfast has a wide variety. For the price we paid for it, it's worth it. The only concern I have is their hotel service standard. At my breakfast today at T station, no one attended to us when we arrive. So we grabbed our sea... Read more

Everything is quite good of how much you paid. Located opposite to the shopping mall is great. All nearby restaurants, cafe, coffee shops are good but cheap. For those who are not night market lover is perfect hotel. Same as other travelers, the seating arrangement is really bad particularly during Saturday and Sunday morning. They allow their guests to get in the restaurant but all seats are being occupied. Why don't they ask us to wait outside the restaurant. For the return trip from hotel ... Read more

Room was a bit small, but clean and comfortable bed. Bathroom was good, nice shower. Reception was helpful and polite. Pool was great. Good location - only a six or seven minute tuk-tuk ride to the walled city, and bang opposite a new mall. On the main road out of town to Doi Suthep, so handy for sight-seeing. Only negative would be breakfast. Not great selection for westerners, and most of the bacon/sausages etc fried to death, and lots of flies.
