We have stayed here again, only this time had one of their suites, which was really spacious! Our children like the pool area and the Kids club. Dining at the beach is a nice experience and food is excellent. Service is good as always. What we didn't like is that the parking lots are fully exposed to sun, no shade anywhere, so in the evening when going out your car is a cooking pot. Another thing is that my children like to stay in a bathtub, but I believe the hotel has no rooms equipped with su... Read more

This hotel is situated a bit from shops and sights. There are a few other restaurants near by. But the hotel is the destination. It is a very nice hotel, near the sea and enough with sun chairs etc. First we got a room on the top but we changed and stayed some flats down. Balcony in every room.

1.Check-in was handled extremely well by the person at the reception 2. Room was upgraded. It had a view to die for 3.I did not use it but the pool looked very nice 4. Dining options were terrible in terms of food choices, food quality, service, seating. Not one redeeming feature. We had a great time eating and drinking in the soi bars just outside the hotel

A modern hotel, on the beach, with beautiful pools and areas to relax. It makes a perfect venue for a 'fly and flop' holiday. The hotel is laid out very well, the staff are great and the rooms and suites very nice. However, for a large hotel - it is 23 floors and has conference facilities - check in and check out struggles with large numbers of arrivals and departures. The only true gripe I have is the time you must wait for an elevator. There are only three small elevators that are alwa... Read more

Novetel has failed to disappoint me. Another great branch. A fantastic hotel to relax and break away from Hua Hin town and urban life. Not sure if it's low season. There were hardly 10 people by the pool side. The swimming pool is as great with a water slide which most beachside hotel does not offer. The street just outside of the entrance has a 24 hours convenience store and a few nice resturants. Price is reasonable. The hotel does offer a few shuttle services to the nearby areas (to the clo... The facade of the hotel is poorly maintained. Needs a new coat of paint. Kids club - Parents are required to be present to supervise your children. The painting / art class was non existent and you pay for the bag/pillow that you are going to paint, and the parent is the facilitator. The staff here only issues out pool towels. Food and beverage is limited. Out of the 3 nights, we had dinner out twice and one lunch out. The rest of the meals were in the hotel, but that was about the most we ... Read more

Stayed for two nights during off peak season. Spent the whole afternoon at the pool. Kids loved the slides and kidsclub. Windy night at the rooftop bar. 7/11 store just next to the hotel. Would be good to have private transport if venturing out of hotel vicinity.

It is a nice modern hotel with each room facing the sea. Excellent view. Nice & elegant rooms. The swimming pool is awesome and maintenance of the property is awesome. Lobby does not have air-conditioning. Non of its restaurants have air-conditioning and even the elevator. It was quite hot in June. Surprisingly, only the wash room had air-conditioning at the lobby level. The breakfast buffet was ordinary with practically no variation during our three day stay. Despite our own group of 12 perso... Read more

It's my first Hua Hin trip in almost 5 years and I decided to stay at Novotel as I believed the service would be at the standard level as other Novotel hotels. I got a very warm welcome at the reception, the girl was friendly, asking me about my trip down to Hua Hin. She also upgraded my room and offered a late check out. However, we had a very bad service when checking out the hotel. I was waiting at the Priority counter over 5 mins until I was spotted by a bell boy guy. He then invited me to a... Read more

I stayed at this resort in Suite 2201 for 5 nights in early June with my wife and two kids. I chose this Novotel resort over the nearby So Sofitel Hua Hin due to the availability of facilities for children such as the indoor children's playground, swimming pool with slide, babysitting service etc. The thing that stood out for me in this hotel is the service standards. Virtually all the staff that I have met are very well trained and polite. Every staff you bump into, be it the reception, restau... Read more

Beautiful hotel and facilities. Perfect for young children and families. Food is fantastic with the exception that breakfast is always cold no matter what time you go. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are good and hotel provides transport to local suburbs and markets.

We decided to return to the Novotel again after our holiday last year. Our check in was easy, fast and the staff very courteous. If I have one 'minor complaint' it would be that we did not receive a cold 'welcome' drink or cold towel, after a long flight and then a two and a half hour transfer we really needed some 'refreshing!!' We were very kindly upgraded to the Premium floor again, with stunning views from our balcony, looking left we could see Cha am and to the right we could see Hua hin. A... Read more

I am an Accor member and stay fairly regularly at Novotel properties. I like them, but this one not as much. Firstly, and this is not the hotel's fault, I think staying in Hua Hin itself would be far more interesting. Despite the efficient complimentary shuttle services, the area itself is dull and the beach frontage is close to unswimmable due to rocks and smell. Secondly, I booked for 3 people, one of whom is a child and was surprised that this meant that my 11 year old was aloud to share our ... Read more

Food and service were really. Markets in chi am were great. Breakfast food was great but cold we told management and for the rest if the stay it was great.

From the outside the hotel has wow factor and a great looking pool.. 3 small lifts to service the complex. Slow and no air. Hardly a good welcome. Rooms were satisfactory but the air conditioing system is as out dated as the lifts. Breakfast had no striking appeal and most items were luke warm to cold. This would be an Accor property on the lower side of satisfactory in all my stays.

Overall its perfect if all you want to do is wind down and relax. There is really not that much going on at the resort and nearby there is a little street with some restaurants and massages. Pool is quite nice and you have beachfront, but the beach itself is just so so. Rooms are fine and decent size, but a bit dated. However they are all sea facing, which is nice.

Quite average sea-side hotel as compared to other similar hotels in Thailand. Cool reception and hospitality- my legs were slightly hurt by the floor next to the pool breaking up; no any apology from the hotel;they just had a chair covering that broken hole!- quite insentitive. Otherwise, the room was in good size all had ocean view. The shower towels were bit old and urgently needed replacement. The location limits ones ability to roam very far on foot to find day or night life. Free transport is available to and from the city (20 mins each way) but needs to be reserved a day in advance. Taxis are very expensive. To town and back 400 baht and it is 2000 baht to Suvarnabhumi airport (3 hrs away). There are some action activities (paint ball, water park, 4X4 cross country bikes etc within reasonable taxi ride). The resort is self contained with almost every imaginable amenity and very muc... The pool area is great for all ages - it is even possible to do passable swim training in the deep end. The water slide is great, but a little bit worn - the speed is reduced almost to full stop if you have the wrong swimming garments. Having drinks on the premises are somewhat expensive, with 45 bahts for local water, 75 bahts for soft drinks and 130 for small local beers. But they do offer decent deals in the pool bar. I have stayed at this hotel 5 times now over a period of two years, so obviously I rate it highly. There are many excellent hotels in the Hua Hin area, and I have stayed in at least three others with the same star rating, but I keep coming back to the Novotel because the combination of facilities - including classy swimming pool, gym and shuttle bus - suits me very well. In my opinion this hotel could get your child killed or disfigured for life. Novotel advertise this hotel as great for children. They write about all the activities they have for children, but what they do not tell you is how the hotel is built with substandard material. They do not use safety glass in their balcony doors. This with the added factor of the sun beating down on the glass all day makes the glass brittle and the slightest nock makes them explode. If this happens to you as it did ... Read more

This is a hotel for family surely. The pool is packed all time from morning till evening. With lots of people, I felt the pool was somewhat dirty. The room is ok comfortable. Decent in size. The other thing we encountered was the breakfast crowd. It just full of people so don't expect much about quality. Will not return for sure personally. Prefer a more quiet kind of place.
