What a cracking hotel, absolutely loved it, brilliant location, 2 minutes walk from Phaya Thai Station, excellent for the Bangkok Skytrain and Airport Rail Link, the breakfast was good, they upgraded us to a suite on the 20th floor which was great, brilliant shower, comfy bed, good air-con system, TV, nice friendly staff, spotlessly clean and tidy, could not fault the place, would stay here again in a flash, would recommend it for singles, families and couples, also if you want to use it as a ba... I stayed here for 3 nights for a workshop. The location is good as it's just 5-10 minutes walk to the nearest BTS and also the Airport Railway link (if you land at Suvanarbumi and not Don Mueang). It's just 2 BTS stops to Siam Paragon if you aim to go shopping. There's a 7-11 and ATM next to the hotel. The food is quite good for breakfast (fruit, cereal, cakes/bread, rice, omelettes, etc). The lunch is better. Quite a good selection of food. Not so much for the beverages. I had to leave at 5... Read more

So grateful to staff who helped upgrade one of our standard room to a family room with adjoining doors! This made it so much more convenient for us. Furthermore the rooms were very spacious and nicely furnished. The family room even had a cosy corner! Beds were soft and blankets fluffy and provided good night sleep for the next day. One thing i noticed which was odd was that for all its excellent service, this hotel did not provide toothbrush set or hair dryer, but this was a minor problem for u... Read more

Large hotel in the centre of Bangkok, perfect airport connection with the airport rail link. Prices OK. Two things: no toothbrush among the amenities and - and this is bad - it's impossible to take a nice warm shower as the temperature unpredictably and dangerously goes up and down from cold to too hot. I literally had to jump out a few times and was forced to take a cold shower. This is NOT OK. Otherwise, nothing really wrong or special here.

On a business trip we found the hotel concierge (especially) and staff, very kind, helpful and attentive. Perfectly located near the skytrain ( a must in the city) as well as luxury and bargain shopping. We felt safe, welcome, and cared for. Good food at the restaurant, wonderful spa treatments.

Pretty good location, 5-10 minutes walk to the Phraya Thai BTS which is just a couple of stations away from Siam. The ride to the airport was faster than when I stayed in Pratunam or Silom area as the road outside the hotel goes straight up to the high way. Get your room inclusive of breakfast. They have a decent spread including Asian, continental and hot stations (where they serve eggs and also noodles). The hotel lobby area is very well maintained. I need to be upfront about this - I have stayed at this hotel 12 times in 10 years. And there is a very good reason for that - it is an excellent hotel with a fine level of service. When I have to come to Bangkok, I like to stay here as it does feel like my home away from home, and nothing is ever difficult or stressful. We have stayed in some nice looking hotels in Thailand and around the world. This is very nice inside and the service we received was second to none. There are many rooms at this hotel, so we were amazed to hear many staff refer to us by name. This makes you feel very special. We stayed for 3 nights on our way back from a big trip. The team there really go the extra mile to provide that little bit extra, when it comes to customer service. The breakfast buffet was included in our deal and i... Read more

Service was excellent even before we arrive. Every email written to them was responded promptly. When we arrive, everything was handled quickly and efficiently by Mr Nattapong and his colleagues. Business travellers - It is worth to upgrade your booking to include Club Siam benefits (personalised breakfast, happy hour drinks, and late check-out). Wi-fi connection is good. Desk space in the room is wide, with enough sockets to charge your devices. The Sukosol Hotel thoughtfully provides a shu... Read more

We stayed there for 3 nights, almost every thing was excellent, It has very very polite stuffs, Clean rooms, very good services. Buffet breakfast is good but it can be better to satisfy all international traveler's taste. The location is also good,Its near to BTS station and also you can get to most important shopping centers by 20~25 min walking. Thanks a lot Sukosol Hotel for making nice memory.

I stayed at the Sukosol 4 times, the rooms are comfortable and staff are very attentive. This is a Thai hotel chain, all the staff can communicate well in English. Food is pretty good, Buffett breakfast offers a good spread of choices. I also tried their buffet dinner, it's a good value. Pastries are delicious! I would recommend getting the Club Siam upgrade, you can enjoy the extra benefits of having the executive lounge (breakfast and canapés). It's located on the higher floor so you can hav... Read more

It depends what you want and where you want to be in bangkok. This was a long way from the river and there is nothing around it but it is close to the airport train. The hotel is nice with a lovely room. The cocktail bar was expensive. We like an adventure so this was not for us but it was lovely for one night.

A truly great hotel should be judged by the best of times as well as the worst of times ‚?? and for me, these were the worst of times. Not that it was the Sukosol‚??s fault ‚?? I became ill on the flight over and got sicker in the coming days. Thank God I was staying at the Sukosol, as the hotel team took such great care of me, sending me off to an excellent hospital where I received superb care. But what was most telling was that when I did return to the Sukosol for almost two weeks of bed rest... Read more

the reception staff were very robotic and impolite, very unpersonal and unfriendly. the rooms were old fashioned, out dated and smelt fousty. we continuously had bits and pieces going missing from our room such as snacks and drinks, when we reported this to reception saying we felt our belongings were not safe, the staff were rather rude and did nothing about it, not even an appology. only when we pressed on and continued to complain (taking up a lot of our time) we were able to speak to the dut...
